Speaker B:

Cabinetry or hardwood floors can be a technical and time consuming project.

Speaker B:

Eric G. And John Dudley talk with N. Hance about the right way to refinish them without it looking like a sticky craft project that went bad with all the dust.

Speaker C:

That's our houses are dirty even with the best cleaning system in them.

Speaker C:

And if you've been sanding and prepping and doing stuff, painter comes in there, man, it's not a paint booth.

Speaker C:

It's still going to do it.

Speaker C:

And you have such a long time to cure it seems like it just grabs everything floating in the air for the next 24 hours.

Speaker D:

Yeah, and that's a big.

Speaker D:

That's a big danger.

Speaker D:

I think you just nailed.

Speaker D:

Nailed it right away.

Speaker D:

But we try to look at the process and say, okay, how can I get a fast curing option?

Speaker D:

And how can I get a durability plus an elasticity that gives you that kind of ability not to crack and break and all that kind of stuff.

Speaker D:

And we specifically use what we call the lightspeed process.

Speaker D:

And it really is just, there's an additive to the coating, the clear coat and then it comes in with a UV lighting.

Speaker D:

And really the whole, the whole thing that kind of got me really impressed by it was, is we literally in.

The second hour, Eric G. And John Dudley talk about that dreaded water in the basement crawl space or even that leak under your slab foundation.

Speaker E:

I've seen even worse.

Speaker E:

In the Northwest, we had all the clay piping, remember?

Speaker C:

My gosh, I hate that stuff.

Speaker C:

So think of it as ceramic tile clay, you know, basically just clay pipes.

Speaker C:

Hold it together.

Speaker E:

Just think of it as broken and you have to replace it pretty much every house buy.

Speaker B:

Just think of it as that.

Speaker E:

Like it's a given, like it's broke somewhere.

Speaker C:

It's broke now.

Speaker C:

Once you get that done, there's a way to the common problem we saw out there, and you've seen it too, Johnny.

Speaker C:

People go around, they dig away the entire dirt away from the foundation wall on the outside of the house.

Speaker C:

They dig out a trench 24, 30 inches wide, dig around it, all the way down to the footing and then they put in that sump exterior, tree.

Speaker A:

All that and more on Saturday's around the House show with Eric.
