Transcripts

Kristen Crockett:

Foreign and welcome to the Courageous Destiny build a business and life you love podcast.

Kristen Crockett:

I am your hostess, Kristen Crockett, and I am elated to come on today and have a conversation about something that I have been creating in Courageous Destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

And the program and series of programs is Courageous Destiny B.

Kristen Crockett:

And the premise is to be your courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

Now, be it through action, be it through thoughts, be it through the decisions that you make, be it in all kinds of ways that you create to get those things in, in life that you want.

Kristen Crockett:

So Courageous destiny, for those of you who's like, okay, that's, that's cool, it sounds fun, but really what Courageous destiny is is what you want in your business and in your life.

Kristen Crockett:

So when you look out at your life and you look out at your business, what are those courageous things that you really want to bring into the world that are important to you?

Kristen Crockett:

And once you're able.

Kristen Crockett:

One of the first steps that I have with incoming clients, with people that I talk to at my events and all those things is this inability many times to not be able to articulate what they want in various areas of life.

Kristen Crockett:

I remember going to a Jack Canfield event years ago, and I remember Jack saying, jack, please don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure this is exactly what you said.

Kristen Crockett:

And it was, if you write it down, it's 80% more likely to happen than if you don't.

Kristen Crockett:

And so what really became and how Courageous Destiny evolved is I was very much in my life the type of person that would find something and just do it.

Kristen Crockett:

I'm a doer by nature, which is actually some really great qualities to have.

Kristen Crockett:

But I wasn't that great of a planner.

Kristen Crockett:

And over the years, I've learned that in order for me to do and really have the results that I want, I have to do in a specific direction.

Kristen Crockett:

I have to do an act toward those things in life that I want.

Kristen Crockett:

Otherwise, my results are random.

Kristen Crockett:

Now, there's nothing wrong with random results.

Kristen Crockett:

You can live your life randomly and, and live a happy, go lucky life.

Kristen Crockett:

And you don't have to decide that you want to live consciously, let's call it living consciously.

Kristen Crockett:

You can decide that whatever happens, happens, and that's it.

Kristen Crockett:

Again, there's nothing wrong with that.

Kristen Crockett:

But if you are wanting something more in your life, if you're wanting higher, more meaningful results, elevated results in your life, then you need to add consciousness to the way that you think and add consciousness to the way that you dream.

Kristen Crockett:

Add consciousness to the way that you design Your life.

Kristen Crockett:

So in courageous destiny, the first step, and really without this first step, it can be very difficult.

Kristen Crockett:

But it is to define those areas of life that are important to you.

Kristen Crockett:

And I say important to you because not all areas of life are important to everybody else.

Kristen Crockett:

I've seen people that cars are really important to them and they live about cars.

Kristen Crockett:

They love Ferraris and they love all these really high end vehicles that might not be important to somebody else, but for that person and that having being one of their passions, then that's part of what I would create in their courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

What car do you want?

Kristen Crockett:

What cars do you want to see in your garage?

Kristen Crockett:

When you open up the garage door?

Kristen Crockett:

What kind of garage do you want?

Kristen Crockett:

You know, all of those kinds of things.

Kristen Crockett:

So for example, for me, God is a very important part of my life.

Kristen Crockett:

It always has to start at the top.

Kristen Crockett:

And that's what I feel is most important for me.

Kristen Crockett:

Now I'm not here to have a religious conversation or debate.

Kristen Crockett:

It certainly, you know, is a personal preference.

Kristen Crockett:

But I will say having a higher power in God has been one of the things in my life that has allowed me to be my courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

Because when otherwise I.

Kristen Crockett:

It really does help me trust.

Kristen Crockett:

So I'll plant that seed for who, whoever needs to hear that.

Kristen Crockett:

So it could be your spirituality and whatever that means to you.

Kristen Crockett:

It could be your area of life, could be your family, right?

Kristen Crockett:

The relationships in your family, your relationship with yourself, right.

Kristen Crockett:

Your, your element.

Kristen Crockett:

You know, there's always an element of self love.

Kristen Crockett:

And to me self love is an area, one area of life to me that's so, so important is full self expression.

Kristen Crockett:

That might not be somebody else's area of life, but that's one of my areas of life.

Kristen Crockett:

Because to me everything happens with my voice and my ability to create with the power of my words.

Kristen Crockett:

So you know, other areas of life I'll just go through.

Kristen Crockett:

Ones that I've worked with.

Kristen Crockett:

People on are certainly having money, you know, having money, making money.

Kristen Crockett:

So wealth is different than generating income, you know, so in making money, that might be sales.

Kristen Crockett:

And those of you who know me know I have a gigantic background and has been very successful in sales, but I would also say very successful in authentic loving sales.

Kristen Crockett:

I believe that.

Kristen Crockett:

I believe that sales comes from the heart or it can come from the heart and it can be very powerful and can help lots and lots of people.

Kristen Crockett:

So to me, my full self expression helps me with a lot of those things.

Kristen Crockett:

So I'm going to encourage you to don't Take it from me.

Kristen Crockett:

What areas of life are important to me?

Kristen Crockett:

But one really great place to start might be with ChatGPT even, right?

Kristen Crockett:

What are the areas of life?

Kristen Crockett:

You'll see a whole bunch come up.

Kristen Crockett:

Which ones are important to me.

Kristen Crockett:

So that's a pro tip for you today.

Kristen Crockett:

I also have many different worksheets and things that I coach from, but it also works to just chatgpt it and start that way.

Kristen Crockett:

You can also Google it.

Kristen Crockett:

You can find many different things that people of spirituality and great consciousness have put together to help elevate the way that you think about your life.

Kristen Crockett:

And certainly if you're thinking about areas of life and you're a little stuck, you can also reach out to me.

Kristen Crockett:

So it starts with being able to design your life.

Kristen Crockett:

So one of the things I do in courageous destiny is I dare you to live your courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

And D.A.R.E.

Kristen Crockett:

is an acronym.

Kristen Crockett:

So the first step is to design.

Kristen Crockett:

The second step is, once you have the design, is to be able to understand what aligns, what actions and thoughts align with that design and which ones don't.

Kristen Crockett:

So to create an element of discernment.

Kristen Crockett:

And then I will always say rewire, rewiring those programs, those thoughts, those decisions that are conscious and unconscious, that don't move us forward toward the design.

Kristen Crockett:

And then keep expanding, keep expanding.

Kristen Crockett:

Your courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

One of my favorite things when I'm talking about courageous destiny is to to say is from the heart, rage destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

Because core is French for from the heart rage destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

So in order to be your courageous destiny, to go back to that concept of be courageous destiny, be, you need to know what your design is.

Kristen Crockett:

You need to know where you're going, and you don't need to spend a lot of time on it.

Kristen Crockett:

It could be sitting down and writing down a few things that you want, and that's the start of the design.

Kristen Crockett:

You don't have to make it elaborate.

Kristen Crockett:

You don't have to go out and buy a fancy journal, though I love fanc fancy journals.

Kristen Crockett:

You don't have to put any obstacles in your way.

Kristen Crockett:

You can just choose even one thing courageously that you want in your life.

Kristen Crockett:

So when I sit down at an event and with new clients and with new people that I'm talking to about courageous destiny, one of the most difficult things is to quantify and put in a metrics those things that they want.

Kristen Crockett:

And I like to say, please put arms and legs on the things that you want any way you can.

Kristen Crockett:

So many times I will hear, I want to be happy.

Kristen Crockett:

I want to Be courageous.

Kristen Crockett:

I want to be free in my life.

Kristen Crockett:

Those are beautiful, beautiful things.

Kristen Crockett:

Absolutely beautiful, beautiful things.

Kristen Crockett:

But what I wanted to take it a step farther and go, okay, well, those are really beautiful things.

Kristen Crockett:

But if I take this a step farther, what do an expanded amount of courage, an expanded amount of happiness and expanded amount of fulfillment bring to me in my life?

Kristen Crockett:

Does it bring to me a new job position, A promotion?

Kristen Crockett:

Does it bring to me better relationships?

Kristen Crockett:

Does it bring to me mended relationships?

Kristen Crockett:

Does it bring to me my purpose in life?

Kristen Crockett:

Does it bring to me my, you know, my ability to make more money and relate to people on a higher level?

Kristen Crockett:

So you want to try to get really, really specific.

Kristen Crockett:

We've all heard about smart goals.

Kristen Crockett:

Again, you can Google smart goals.

Kristen Crockett:

It's a great way to write goals.

Kristen Crockett:

I just like to people to tune into their heart and make the goals courageous and make.

Kristen Crockett:

Make what they want in life really come from them and what's important to them without having to look at the rest of the world.

Kristen Crockett:

And this is the second part of B.

Kristen Crockett:

How do you tune into you?

Kristen Crockett:

We have distractions all over the place.

Kristen Crockett:

And if you're anything like me, they start from the second you open your eyes and your puppy or your dog or an animal says, I have to go outside.

Kristen Crockett:

That used to be my kids, right?

Kristen Crockett:

I want bottle, I want breakfast.

Kristen Crockett:

I want this, I want that.

Kristen Crockett:

And many times in my life, I'll hit the ground running from the time I wake up and, you know, and sometimes the best laid plan, so then I go to wake up maybe an hour earlier, and then the distraction could be my phone, you know, oh, what happened overnight?

Kristen Crockett:

Instead of, can it wait an hour?

Kristen Crockett:

Right.

Kristen Crockett:

It'll be what happened overnight.

Kristen Crockett:

So finding ways to tune into you and the things that you really want, the things that are really important to you, which is not always the easiest thing, because when you start, if you say the things that you want are an onion, you start peeling back the layers.

Kristen Crockett:

Sometimes there are things that you think you should do or you should want.

Kristen Crockett:

Are they things you really want?

Kristen Crockett:

You know, I've talked to millionaires who really just want to live on their own private island and be done.

Kristen Crockett:

I've talked to millionaires who want to become billionaires.

Kristen Crockett:

I've talked to people who really want to have an amazing, you know, amazing bonds with their family and boundaries, and that would make their life very different.

Kristen Crockett:

What does that look like?

Kristen Crockett:

Does it look like you talking to a certain member of the family?

Kristen Crockett:

Does it look like making a certain dollar amount?

Kristen Crockett:

Right.

Kristen Crockett:

Really, really Honoring ourselves to understand what we really, really want and getting rid and spending some quiet time with ourselves is really critical.

Kristen Crockett:

And then the other thing to be is once you really get clear on what you want, how do you be it?

Kristen Crockett:

How do you embody the actions that generate those things that you want?

Kristen Crockett:

So, for example, one of the things that I really want is to take this podcast to the next level, to engage maybe first thousands and then millions of people.

Kristen Crockett:

And for I have things that are in my heart that I think could make really big impact from the journey that I've had and the work that I've done with thousands of people.

Kristen Crockett:

And I want to get out there.

Kristen Crockett:

So how do I be it?

Kristen Crockett:

Well, one of the ways I decided to be it was recording my first solo podcast and my own podcast in a while.

Kristen Crockett:

So that's one of the ways that I.

Kristen Crockett:

I really chose was an aligned action to what I want, which is that podcast that gets elevated and shared with people around the world because they really resonate with it.

Kristen Crockett:

And.

Kristen Crockett:

And they.

Kristen Crockett:

They know and they can feel my authenticity and my heart in the podcast.

Kristen Crockett:

So that's one way I can be it.

Kristen Crockett:

You know, one of the things that I want is I want to be on stage.

Kristen Crockett:

And I have this image of myself this year doing nights of courageous destiny and really moving around freely on stage without pain and with flexibility and fun.

Kristen Crockett:

And so how do I embody that?

Kristen Crockett:

How do I be that now?

Kristen Crockett:

Well, to be that now would be to start to work on my flexibility.

Kristen Crockett:

So I started to work on this fun project of.

Kristen Crockett:

I call it the heel stretch project, because I used to be a dancer, and I loved doing.

Kristen Crockett:

I always loved how I felt when I did a heel stretch.

Kristen Crockett:

I always felt like I was doing something maybe a lot of people couldn't do that made me feel powerful and flexible, like I had accomplished something.

Kristen Crockett:

So I'm starting to practice heel stretches again.

Kristen Crockett:

I want a strong core.

Kristen Crockett:

So I started practicing planks again.

Kristen Crockett:

And it's not coming from necessarily.

Kristen Crockett:

It doesn't look pretty at first.

Kristen Crockett:

It feels a lot like I'm a toddler again, relearning all these things that I once knew in a new body.

Kristen Crockett:

I'm 50 years old, and it's not that I believe that there are no limits with age, and there's a different set of experiments and different ways to have our body do the things we want it to do.

Kristen Crockett:

So I'm experimenting, and in that experimenting is the way that I am choosing to be my courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

And my ultimate target, again, is to Be free.

Kristen Crockett:

Free on stage, dancing around, pain free in a way that I feel good about.

Kristen Crockett:

So I want you to notice that these are things that I'm creating in becoming my courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

And we can create and be the master creators of our own courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

It's one of my very favorite, what I call conscious choices that I make.

Kristen Crockett:

Right.

Kristen Crockett:

It's a decision, it's an affirmation that I make.

Kristen Crockett:

I am the master creator of my own courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

And I always empower my clients to also take that on in their own way.

Kristen Crockett:

And when people understand that they are the master creator, they step into that more and more and they embody that idea.

Kristen Crockett:

Everything on their want list is possible.

Kristen Crockett:

One step, one aligned action, one inspired aligned action at a time.

Kristen Crockett:

And the only time they have to be the master creator of their own courageous destiny is right now.

Kristen Crockett:

So who's.

Kristen Crockett:

Who's ever listening this and choose to listen to this today.

Kristen Crockett:

I want to create that possibility in your life.

Kristen Crockett:

I want you, I want you to consider creating that possibility in your life that you are the master creator of your own courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

I want to inspire you to write down a couple of things that you really want that might be courageous.

Kristen Crockett:

That might be one of those things that you're afraid to put down because if you put down and you don't do it, you're going to be disappointed in yourself.

Kristen Crockett:

Is that just.

Kristen Crockett:

That's one of those decisions that get to be rewired.

Kristen Crockett:

Remember the DARE design?

Kristen Crockett:

Align, rewire and expand.

Kristen Crockett:

You get to put down whatever you want.

Kristen Crockett:

Whatever you want is 80% more likely to happen if you write it down.

Kristen Crockett:

Thank you, Jen Canfield, for that.

Kristen Crockett:

So consider writing something down.

Kristen Crockett:

And then I want you to consider what would be aligned action to that.

Kristen Crockett:

How could I be my courageous destiny right now?

Kristen Crockett:

How could I be that thing that I want?

Kristen Crockett:

What is the energy of that thing that I want?

Kristen Crockett:

How does it make me feel when I think about celebrating that thing that I want in my life?

Kristen Crockett:

Are there actions that can generate that feeling of me celebrating that thing that I want?

Kristen Crockett:

Can I be it now?

Kristen Crockett:

See, many times we're creating our life from the past and what's possible and who we think we are and the way the world works?

Kristen Crockett:

I can't tell you how many times I hear things like, well, I'm not a salesperson.

Kristen Crockett:

I'm not that type of person who does those things.

Kristen Crockett:

And in my mind, I think you are the master creator of your own courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

If you want that thing that you say that you want, watch who you say you are, because that gets in the way.

Kristen Crockett:

That gets in the way and slows you down.

Kristen Crockett:

So you.

Kristen Crockett:

You have the opportunity to take whatever it is that you think about it and train your unconscious mind through aligned actions toward those things that you want.

Kristen Crockett:

And one aligned action is going to be to think about what you want all the time, on purpose.

Kristen Crockett:

I want to leave you guys with this.

Kristen Crockett:

And I really want you to consider 95% of the way that you think is not conscious.

Kristen Crockett:

To you, that means to be a conscious creator, to be the master creator of your own courageous destiny, you need to bring yourself awake and aware of where your thoughts and your actions are guiding you.

Kristen Crockett:

You have the ability to create your courageous destiny right now.

Kristen Crockett:

Wherever you've been, you get a fresh start.

Kristen Crockett:

The only time you can do it is right now.

Kristen Crockett:

So anything that would stop you from the mind from moving forward or judging yourself as the type of person that would do something, you know, do an action or not do an action, those kinds of things, that's all in the past.

Kristen Crockett:

It's just all in the past.

Kristen Crockett:

Anything that you would think about that would be likely to create your courageous, like, this is the action that's going to generate this result.

Kristen Crockett:

That's in the future.

Kristen Crockett:

The only time you have is right now.

Kristen Crockett:

Well, I think this is a great aligned action.

Kristen Crockett:

Let me do it.

Kristen Crockett:

Let me do it now.

Kristen Crockett:

Let me do it now.

Kristen Crockett:

Let me do it now.

Kristen Crockett:

And that is what courageous destiny B is all about.

Kristen Crockett:

It's taking inspired aligned action, now having inspired aligned thoughts, now having inspired aligned awareness about where you're leading yourself and being that master creator of your own courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

Now, with that said, I'm going to ask myself the two questions that I ask everybody on my podcast.

Kristen Crockett:

What is the most courageous thing I've ever done?

Kristen Crockett:

And I can honestly say it is.

Kristen Crockett:

Without any of this work, without any consciousness or awareness or mindset awareness.

Kristen Crockett:

Having triplets.

Kristen Crockett:

Having triplets is the most courageous thing that I've ever done.

Kristen Crockett:

And going through seven years of infertility, if anybody's ever been on that journey, it's an emotional one.

Kristen Crockett:

And I can't imagine how things would have been different.

Kristen Crockett:

But I will tell you, the last time I went through in vitro, I.

Kristen Crockett:

That was my first introduction.

Kristen Crockett:

I had a neighbor friend of mine who was a very colorful person.

Kristen Crockett:

She was so much fun.

Kristen Crockett:

And she brought over the secret.

Kristen Crockett:

And that was my first step into the law of attraction.

Kristen Crockett:

And I can't say that everything resonated with me in that movie, but the one Thing that did was I decided that day that I was going to be a mom.

Kristen Crockett:

And I went through my fourth in vitro fertilization knowing I was going to be a mom.

Kristen Crockett:

And I believed it.

Kristen Crockett:

I found ways to think about it.

Kristen Crockett:

I thought about it all the time.

Kristen Crockett:

I thought about it in my heart, all of those things.

Kristen Crockett:

And at the end of the day, I'm very clear.

Kristen Crockett:

It's always God's will.

Kristen Crockett:

But I know that it got me through emotionally.

Kristen Crockett:

So I would say that was definitely creating that mindset that I was going to be a mom.

Kristen Crockett:

After several miscarriages, after, you know, that whole seven years of infertility and always wanting to be a mom, that was probably the most courageous thing I've ever done.

Kristen Crockett:

And then I would say the most courageous thing on my bucket list is, is to get up on a stage full of thousands of people.

Kristen Crockett:

Maybe it's streamed and it's millions of people.

Kristen Crockett:

Maybe it's getting up on a Netflix show.

Kristen Crockett:

I don't even know.

Kristen Crockett:

But it's going to be being my courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

Be my courageous destiny with the full on courageous outfit that's gorgeous and beautiful and really has that inner glow that.

Kristen Crockett:

That is me stand out and feel just so amazing.

Kristen Crockett:

And maybe I really like the way Pink looks in the Trust Fall video.

Kristen Crockett:

So if you guys ever listen to that, that song Trust Fall, which I'm going to highly recommend, music as a tool to live your courageous destiny and a way that you can help practice the feeling of arriving at your courageous destiny and a way for you to keep your spirits up and keep your energy elevated.

Kristen Crockett:

But if you look at that Trust Ball video, she's in this, like, pink outfit.

Kristen Crockett:

It's her hair.

Kristen Crockett:

It's everything.

Kristen Crockett:

My version of that.

Kristen Crockett:

That's what I want.

Kristen Crockett:

And that would be really courageous for me.

Kristen Crockett:

So with that said, I want again, inspire you to live your courageous destiny now to know that this is the only time you have to be it.

Kristen Crockett:

You don't have tomorrow.

Kristen Crockett:

It's not promised.

Kristen Crockett:

One of the biggest.

Kristen Crockett:

The biggest lies we tell ourselves is that we know, you know, we've got till tomorrow.

Kristen Crockett:

We can do it tomorrow.

Kristen Crockett:

We can do it tomorrow.

Kristen Crockett:

Or I can't do that because this happened before, right?

Kristen Crockett:

No, you have right now.

Kristen Crockett:

You have right now to take action right now to take inspired action right now to generate new results in your life.

Kristen Crockett:

And it can start with something as simple as writing down what you want.

Kristen Crockett:

All right?

Kristen Crockett:

With that, if anybody is interested in Courageous Destiny B, this is a private program and it is also a group coaching program.

Kristen Crockett:

The group coaching program launches early February and I'm going to have my my first cohort after 12 years of being a coach and creating different programs for people.

Kristen Crockett:

This is the one.

Kristen Crockett:

This is the one where you get to be your courageous destiny right now.

Kristen Crockett:

Right from the jump.

Kristen Crockett:

Right from the jump.

Kristen Crockett:

So if this is a concept that inspires you, I will tell you that people who have, you know, worked with me have done things like write the book, done the TEDx talk, elevate the business, start the passion based business, write their life's purpose, lose hundreds of pounds, all of it.

Kristen Crockett:

Right?

Kristen Crockett:

That's courageous destiny.

Kristen Crockett:

It's everything that you want.

Kristen Crockett:

And I've helped thousands at this point and been a courageous stand for everybody that I mean that whatever they want in life is important.

Kristen Crockett:

And what's most important when you know what you want, is to be it.

Kristen Crockett:

With that said, I love you all.

Kristen Crockett:

Live courageously.

Kristen Crockett:

And until next time.

Kristen Crockett:

Oh, and if you're interested in be, feel free to PM me.

Kristen Crockett:

PM me at Kristen Michelle on Facebook or you can certainly add into the comments of this podcast and I will reach out to you.

Kristen Crockett:

All right, with that said, live courageously.
