Last year, I wouldn't have paid to go to a conference in Los Angeles and stay in Beverly Hills. Last year, I didn't even try to go on a vacation at all. We haven't gone on vacation in years, because I was holding on to every last cent we brought into our house. For later, just in case. And that's the smart thing to do - we have 3 sons!

But what about those glimmers of opportunity and hope, that sometimes cost money? How do you seize them without faith? Without trust? You can't.

So we went, and this is a story of faith and trust.
