Dustin Kaufman is joined by comedian and actor Carlos Santos at the Comedy Club Lawrence! They discuss his unconventional journey from Puerto Rico to California and eventually into comedy, acting, and television hosting. Carlos recalls initially studying computer engineering before realizing that performing was what he had always wanted to do, eventually switching to theater arts at Fresno State and beginning stand-up in college. He discusses the particular challenges of developing a comedic voice in a second language, his training in theater and improv, and his early experience working as a host and MTV personality.
