o be your TPT sellers self in:So just giving you a rundown of what the Enneagram is. The Enneagram is basically a personality test. It has nine personality types. And each type is you know, driven by certain fears, it's driven by certain wishes, worries. And just you know, it's a really great, it's pretty accurate, I would say like, I'm still consistently a type six, which is the loyalist. And we'll get into that later if you're not sure what that is. But it's just there. The cool thing about these personality types are that they are interconnected. There's also subtypes and centers that are focused on how people are acting, feeling and thinking. So it's a pretty intuitive theory. It's not something to completely take to heart, but it's a little fun and something that you know, can kind of help guide you a little bit and I am hoping that this episode will guide you whichever type you are through each of the tips that I share with you based on personality type.
The first personality type is the reformer. The reformer is typically perfectionist, they are purposeful, they are very, you know they have principle, they might be a little judgmental, they have a strong sense of what is right and wrong to do things. So some examples of how this could look in the TPT world if you're a TPT seller is that you will not post your resource until it is absolutely pristine. It's perfect. You have everything in order. There are no typos, you have all the pictures lined up. And if anything is otherwise nope, I'm not going to post it. I can't do it. It's not ready yet. So that can be a little bit of a good thing that you're very organized and structured in what you have and the quality of resources that you provide. But at the same time it can be a little limiting because Yeah, so what if it has one typo or a couple of errors? It's okay. You don't have to wait until you get it absolutely perfect. And absolutely in tip top shape before you post it sometime. Done is better than perfect. Another example that a reformer might face as a TPT seller is, you know, for example, maybe there are some sale hoppers, and you feel the need maybe to message them, or, you know, email them about, hey, this is our sale. I'm so sorry. But this, you know, because you feel that it's the right thing to do. And no judgment on that, of course, but you there are things to realize is that, you know, we cannot be in control of every single person that does something that you don't want them to do. It's just happens. And honestly, just to alleviate that stress for you, you can only to control your actions, and not anybody else's. So that's just something to think about, as a reformer, just really, really, really fine. You know, stay in your own lane, with as much integrity as possible. Except that, you know, not everything has to be perfect, not everything has to go 100% As expected. And just make sure to be open minded and tolerate other people's point of view. And, you know, maybe what other people have to offer.
il list anyway. So going into: ing that into perspective and: omething to keep in mind into:All right, type number five is the investigator. Investigators are very much independent, they love working on their own, they've got intellectual understanding. They're very techie, and analytical. And probably love nerding out on SEO and data and all that fun stuff that you know, some people may not like. But some problems are that they could be a little bit isolated. Maybe a little too technical when they're talking to their followers on Instagram or email. And that could you know, you know, depending on the type of person that's being following, they may not relate to that. So my tip for you is to not be afraid to network and interact with others, or not even being afraid to hire out to give a little bit at a time something that gives you a headache. To hire you know to work on on your own may be concern, consider having somebody that is trusted or well known. Work on that task for you. Don't be afraid to reach out to others for help. You're not An island on this, you're not alone, you are somebody who maybe somebody else is looking for out there. So don't be afraid to get involved online social media, Facebook groups, collaboration can really be helpful, even if you work best alone. So try to, you know, try to seek connections with other TPT sellers. And that could be getting involved not only with Facebook groups or memberships and stuff like that, but also just getting involved in TPT, forums on TPT, or going to TPT, seller lead events.
type number six is the loyalist. And these people, of course, including myself, they use their perception and intellect to understand the world around them, they figure out whether people are friendly or hostile, they're pretty good at anticipating problems and coming up with solutions. And they are a little bit skeptical of some things or going against the grain or they are just tried and true going with something. So a lot of type sixes might be a little bit cautious. They might worry a lot, they might procrastinate. And this could relate to TPT. In that we are somebody who who worry what happens if we change something well, what if I had the price too high? What if I price too low? What if I added this what's gonna happen if this happens, and what if I'm overanalyzing everything, that's what I tell myself. But also just that fear of what ifs can kind of frees us up into making a decision in the first place. So just kind of leaning into your fear, just trying it out, seeing what happens, knowing that, maybe it'll work, maybe it won't, I want you and I'm talking to myself, as I say this too, I want you to face your fears, your uncertainty, and go lean into that decision, whatever it is, whether it's, you know, the amount of times you don't want to post anymore, or maybe sending that extra email late at night. Or if it's just posting a product, you don't think we'll be good on TPT you never know what happens. So just lean into that uncertainty and just do the dang thing.
hat I want you to focus on in: is my advice for you going in: Something to think about and:All right, how accurate was I? Hopefully nobody gets mad at me. I call myself out. So I'm just saying, I want you to go with an open mind and an open heart. And I want you to be able to not only embrace your personality, but use it to your advantage as a TPT seller. Think about all the good things that can come from having an Enneagram type, and just how you can kind of use it to drive your business.
