Hello and welcome back to

Remember Why You Are Here,

Speaker:

a podcast for seekers and sensitives

where you can relax, receive,

Speaker:

reconnect to yourself and remember the

most important thing of all why you're

Speaker:

here.

Speaker:

I am Asia Suler author,

birth intuitive teacher,

Speaker:

and in this episode I wanted to

revisit my intuitive reading for

Speaker:

this year.

Speaker:

So every year I give an intuitive

reading for the year ahead.

Speaker:

And the way I normally work with this

is that I ask to receive an image,

Speaker:

a metaphor that will help us

as we walk through this year

Speaker:

earth given metaphor that can help us

understand what might be coming up for

Speaker:

us and also how to meet it.

Speaker:

So I've been doing these readings now

for many years and I really wanted this

Speaker:

year's reading to be

a part of the podcast.

Speaker:

I often find that I end up revisiting

the reading throughout the year,

Speaker:

and I hear from other folks that they do

as well. I tend to get comments on the

Speaker:

readings throughout the year, and so

it's this unfolding process in this way.

Speaker:

So I feel like it is good for it to live

here on the podcast for us to have it

Speaker:

so we can reference it,

Speaker:

and the image that came through

for this year was the golden ring,

Speaker:

and there's so much power

in mystery to this image

Speaker:

and to this upcoming year.

As I'm recording this,

Speaker:

we're just about a couple

months into the year and so

Speaker:

far this image and the entire

Speaker:

package that it came

with is really helpful.

Speaker:

It has been really helpful

for me in meeting this year,

Speaker:

and you'll hear the reading in just

a moment if you haven't heard it yet.

Speaker:

But for me,

Speaker:

one of the things that has

been the most helpful is this

Speaker:

idea that there's actually

this huge mystery unfolding and

Speaker:

that the way we think things might unveil

Speaker:

or unfold from here actually

might look quite different,

Speaker:

that we're in the process of

creating something right now,

Speaker:

that the current trajectory that we're on,

Speaker:

it's like if we just looked

down that trajectory,

Speaker:

we're actually not going to glimpse what

the true future is going to look like

Speaker:

because so much is in flux and

is in change right now. And the

Speaker:

way to continue to

create this future that's

Speaker:

unfolding this future that is for

the greater good that is moving us

Speaker:

towards greater healing is to remember

Speaker:

your original commitments and

resource yourself in this original

Speaker:

desire again. So I'm going to

talk about what that means in the,

Speaker:

but I've been thinking about it a lot

and I wanted to make sure that this

Speaker:

reading was available here for this

year and for the years to come.

Speaker:

So without further ado,

Speaker:

here is my intuitive reading for 2025.

Speaker:

Welcome to 2025. I kind of

can't believe I'm saying that,

Speaker:

but it's actually 2025.

My name is Asia Suler.

Speaker:

I am an author, an

earth intuitive teacher,

Speaker:

and every year I give an intuitive

reading for the year ahead.

Speaker:

Back when I used to see clients

in one-on-one intuitive readings,

Speaker:

I worked mainly through images. And so

every year at the start of the year,

Speaker:

I ask the earth and my guides

to send me an image to guide us

Speaker:

through the year ahead.

So this image was very interesting to me

Speaker:

because it actually came through

spontaneously before I even sat down and

Speaker:

meditation and asked for an

image, and it was this image,

Speaker:

I've been calling it the golden ring,

but there's a lot of layers to it.

Speaker:

So our image for this new year,

Speaker:

the golden ring first came in as,

Speaker:

have you ever seen those

videos of blacksmithing where

you've seen it in person,

Speaker:

where you have the metal that first

starts to heat up and it's sort of

Speaker:

red around the perimeter,

Speaker:

like it's a golden ember deep red.

Speaker:

So this was the image I got.

Speaker:

It was almost like this dark center

with this red ring around it,

Speaker:

and before I really even

understood what it was,

Speaker:

and I was just calling it the golden ring,

Speaker:

it really had this sense of mystery

and power and potential to it,

Speaker:

deep mystery power and potential.

Then,

Speaker:

so this was before I sat down to really

receive information about what this

Speaker:

image means.

Speaker:

I was watching a Christmas movie

and I had a montage scene of major

Speaker:

news events and images of

the past handful years,

Speaker:

and they had this image, this photograph

from:

Speaker:

And I looked at it and I said that that

is what I've been seeing. What is that?

Speaker:

Turns out that picture was a photograph,

Speaker:

the first photograph ever of a black hole.

Speaker:

So I had full body goosebumps and so much

Speaker:

to learn about, so much to

integrate as this image came in.

Speaker:

But the more I learned about black holes,

Speaker:

the more I understood why I was literally

shown this image for this new year.

Speaker:

And so before I start to talk a

little bit about the year ahead,

Speaker:

I just want to say that this

is a soul forging year. Think

Speaker:

about be a smith at a forge.

This is a soul forging year.

Speaker:

And so I'm sticking with the name of

Speaker:

the golden ring because I think actually

there's this aspect to the forging

Speaker:

aspect that's really important for us

to remember as we walk into this year,

Speaker:

especially because sometimes we hear

the words black holes and we're like,

Speaker:

oh gosh, what does that mean?

Speaker:

But I'm going to reframe it for you in

a way to help you see just really how

Speaker:

actually fertile and generous and

generative this is and will be for

Speaker:

you.

Speaker:

There's no doubt in my mind that

:

Speaker:

The words that came in for

me were life changing year.

Speaker:

There are really big things

on the horizon. Like I said

before, a lot of power,

Speaker:

a lot of potential. This is a passage

this year, not just personally,

Speaker:

but globally. We're moving through a

passage and it's also going to be an

Speaker:

information revealing year, especially

information about your own self,

Speaker:

your own soul,

Speaker:

your own journey of coming into embodiment

and embodying your soul here on this

Speaker:

planet.

Speaker:

I have this feeling that this year is

going to give you the template for what's

Speaker:

possible for you in your

life, in this world,

Speaker:

and a template that maybe you haven't

even conceived it before or didn't

Speaker:

actually have access to, but

you will after this year.

Speaker:

So let's now talk about the golden ring.

Speaker:

I really want to draw your attention

to the ring itself first because this

Speaker:

is how it first came in for

me looking at this ring of

Speaker:

light, of red, golden light

surrounding the center.

Speaker:

And I think there's a reason why my

guides asked me to tune into this first

Speaker:

before I even understood what image they

were showing me. And it's because of

Speaker:

this. The ring symbolizes in

our culture often commitment.

Speaker:

And so there's this invitation

here in this year of:

Speaker:

this big life-changing passage

of a year to recommit to

Speaker:

the eternal aspect of you.

Speaker:

So I'm not necessarily talking

about earthly commitments,

Speaker:

although those may come up this year,

like I'm going to commit to that project.

Speaker:

I'm talking about remembering the

commitments that you came in with,

Speaker:

that this is a year to recommit

to your soul's journey,

Speaker:

to recommit to why you came here, even

if you're not completely clear on that,

Speaker:

but you're recommitting to it.

Speaker:

You're recommitting to the eternal aspect

of yourself that came here to play out

Speaker:

this journey. And one of the images

I got is from Lord of the Rings,

Speaker:

the one ring to rule them all

when it's heated up. You can see,

Speaker:

I think it's Elvis on the band,

Speaker:

but that the words start glowing when

it's been heated or when it's been touched

Speaker:

in a certain way. I don't remember

all the details of the movie,

Speaker:

but I saw this image and

it was almost like that

Speaker:

guiding image of this is a year

to remember as we enter the heat

Speaker:

of this year to remember what was the

commitment. There's a freedom in that.

Speaker:

There's such a freedom in

remembering what was the commitment,

Speaker:

what was the original

commitment of why I came here?

Speaker:

We get sidetracked all the time

into commitments we think are

Speaker:

important, what other

people are asking of us.

Speaker:

But this year is a year of

remembering the original commitment,

Speaker:

like the original commitment

of your soul. Like, oh, right,

Speaker:

that's why I came here.

Speaker:

This is why I said yes to coming to

this planet and being on this journey.

Speaker:

So as I said, this is a soul forging year,

Speaker:

and you want to let

yourself be forged by it,

Speaker:

almost like envision putting on this ring,

Speaker:

making this commitment to what's going

to come. Because what's going to come

Speaker:

is ultimately mysterious.

Speaker:

And this is why we need

this commitment piece.

Speaker:

Why we need the commitment

to our own individual sparks,

Speaker:

our own individual selves, the

mystery of our own journeys,

Speaker:

that original commitment that brought

us here that is so dear to the center of

Speaker:

our souls and selves and hearts.

Speaker:

We need this because what

makes a ring, a ring?

Speaker:

The center, this empty center,

Speaker:

the void, the black hole.

Speaker:

So the void is what

makes the ring possible,

Speaker:

and there's this element when

we are making a commitment,

Speaker:

is we're also committing to the mystery.

Speaker:

We're committing to that void because

the void is the very thing that is making

Speaker:

our commitment possible.

Speaker:

So to make a commitment is to

plunge yourself into mystery to say,

Speaker:

I'm committing to this even though I

don't know what's going to come next,

Speaker:

even though I don't know how it's

going to come about. So there

Speaker:

is sometimes in our culture, like a

little bit of fear around the void,

Speaker:

especially in western culture.

Speaker:

There's this fear around

nothingness like the black hole,

Speaker:

literally we call them black holes, right?

Speaker:

I want to talk a little bit about black

holes from a stellar perspective in a

Speaker:

moment, but first I want to talk

about this concept of the void.

Speaker:

There's many other classical

traditions around the world,

Speaker:

especially traditions

coming out of the east,

Speaker:

which really resonate

with me around the void,

Speaker:

where the void is not

this place of nothingness.

Speaker:

It's not a lack. It is the origin place.

Speaker:

It is is the mystery itself.

Speaker:

It is the generative darkness

out of which all things

Speaker:

arise.

Speaker:

It is nothingness in that it is

like the womb space before something

Speaker:

comes into creation. So in

Daoism, this would be the Ji.

Speaker:

This is the source of all

existence that precedes

Speaker:

duality.

This is this rich potential place.

Speaker:

The void contains all potentials. There's

a quote from Alan Watts where he says,

Speaker:

the void is creative being comes

from non being as sound from

Speaker:

silence and light from space.

Speaker:

So in this concept and

Daoism this voice space,

Speaker:

it's literally the idea of it.

It's like the Dao in stillness.

Speaker:

It's like all the unmanifest

aspects of the Tao,

Speaker:

this animating force of this universe,

Speaker:

the central stream or thread that is

here to guide you through your life,

Speaker:

that all exists inside of the void. The

void is what is giving birth to that.

Speaker:

So there's such a powerful generative

aspect of embracing the void,

Speaker:

of being in the void and

the void as womb space as

Speaker:

original place. There's

something about this year,:

Speaker:

and its bigness that we're like

going back to an original place.

Speaker:

We're remembering more of our

original place of who we are in our

Speaker:

essentiality.

We will not,

Speaker:

what my guides told me is we

will not come out the same

Speaker:

on the other side as

we went into this year,

Speaker:

and that should be exciting,

Speaker:

even though it's a

little trepid sometimes,

Speaker:

but change is life, right?

Speaker:

And the forging aspect of this is

going to bring through really new

Speaker:

qualities for all of us, within

all of us and within our world.

Speaker:

So I think it was actually

really important that this

image of the black hole

Speaker:

came in for me because the more than I

learned about black holes on the other

Speaker:

side of this really wild of experience

of seeing this image and thinking,

Speaker:

oh my Lord, that is what I've been seeing.

Speaker:

The more I really see how the black

Speaker:

hole is such an important

anchor for us as we

Speaker:

understand the void,

Speaker:

as we understand the generative space

of mystery. So what we know about how

Speaker:

black holes work, and this is very

simplistic understanding of what I can

Speaker:

conceive of and transmute, but

black holes happen when really,

Speaker:

really huge stars like these very

generative aspects of the universe

Speaker:

implode upon themselves.

Speaker:

And it's like their mass is so

big that the gravity of that

Speaker:

implosion just continues.

Speaker:

And so then it becomes from our eye,

Speaker:

what we see is the ring around this

black hole is called the event horizon,

Speaker:

and it's surrounding this dark space.

Speaker:

And this is actually how we've figured

out how to take a picture of a black hole

Speaker:

is by tracking the event horizons.

Speaker:

And what you're seeing is

the event horizon itself.

Speaker:

That's the red ring.

Speaker:

And so what we know actually

for a while, we thought, oh,

Speaker:

is information going into this black hole,

Speaker:

things going into the black hole and then

ceasing to exist or jumping timelines?

Speaker:

What we do know is that all of the

information that exists in a star

Speaker:

or that is approaching a black

hole, it doesn't actually disappear.

Speaker:

It all continues to exist

on this event horizon

Speaker:

timeline.

Speaker:

And why this is really fascinating

to me is because first of all,

Speaker:

it's really regenerating our

idea of what a black hole is,

Speaker:

that it's not disappearing

into nothingness,

Speaker:

but that it is this

generative create force.

Speaker:

One that we're still really understanding

what actually happens within a

Speaker:

black hole, what is

coming out the other side?

Speaker:

Is there another side?

Speaker:

We know that things do come back

out of black holes eventually,

Speaker:

that the information still exists there.

Speaker:

So what I will say about this

and why I think this is such a

Speaker:

powerful affirmation to come

in after me receiving this

Speaker:

image is that just like black holes,

Speaker:

there's a lot of mystery in

this upcoming year. And it's not

Speaker:

necessarily because there's things

that need to be veiled for us,

Speaker:

but it's because things

are still being decided.

Speaker:

Timelines are still changing,

potentials are still coming into being.

Speaker:

And so it's a bit right now, we

are going into this black hole.

Speaker:

We are going to this void of like we

don't know what's going to happen.

Speaker:

We don't know what's going

to happen on the other side,

Speaker:

what's going to come out of this?

We know that we're not looking at

Speaker:

an extinction, we're not

going into nothingness,

Speaker:

but that we're going into a space

where the potential lives for

Speaker:

timelines to change and where the not

Speaker:

knowing is actually a blessing.

Because when we don't know,

Speaker:

it means we can be in a

greater space of creation.

Speaker:

It means that what's going to

happen is not yet set in stone.

Speaker:

And that our commitment

to our own soul's journey

Speaker:

and to the things that light us up,

Speaker:

that is actually an important part of

forging what comes next for our world.

Speaker:

It's essential for that.

Speaker:

So if in any way you can in this

next year or moving into this year

Speaker:

befriend the void as a creative place,

Speaker:

as the thing that's going to bring you

into even remembering your commitments in

Speaker:

this lifetime, it goes both ways,

right? When you step into the mystery,

Speaker:

you encounter the

mystery of your own self.

Speaker:

So this is to say that there might be

some serious black hole moments this

Speaker:

upcoming year,

Speaker:

but as someone who just

lived through a very big

Speaker:

black hole experience

surviving Hurricane Helene,

Speaker:

where I live in the mountains

of Western North Carolina,

Speaker:

I'm going to tell you that surviving

a black hole moment, a really,

Speaker:

really huge life-changing moment,

Speaker:

there is a really powerful soul

energizing soul forging aspect

Speaker:

to it.

Speaker:

There's a divine clarity and

redirection that can come

Speaker:

out of those moments. So this is a gift.

Ultimately it's a gift.

Speaker:

So how do we work with this? You're

like, okay, Asia, like the golden ring,

Speaker:

black holes, commitments be

defending the mystery. What do I do?

Speaker:

This image?

Speaker:

Now I'm holding in my mind of the golden

ring moving into this year of deep

Speaker:

potential powerful passage

change and recommitment.

Speaker:

How do I work with this? Well,

Speaker:

I want to bring in my own

experiences of guiding people in

Speaker:

journey work and in hypnosis,

Speaker:

because my experiences when I was

working with people in these altered

Speaker:

states is that there would many times be

Speaker:

experiences where people entered into

the void and nothing was happening.

Speaker:

And it was disappointing for them, right?

They'd be like, why am I in this void?

Speaker:

Nothing is happening.

I don't see anything.

Speaker:

It's just black and quiet and

nothing. And my experience with that,

Speaker:

for folks who have these void experiences

in journey work or in trans work or

Speaker:

hypnosis or meditation,

Speaker:

is that the void is often the

thing that happens before the leap.

Speaker:

And what I say to them when I guide

folks in this way is I often say,

Speaker:

do you see or feel anything

Speaker:

at all, even if it's the

slightest little thing?

Speaker:

And if you do whatever you see or feel,

Speaker:

that is what you're meant to move towards.

Speaker:

And so it's almost like

attuning to the subtlest little

Speaker:

hints and clues here. And

then moving towards that,

Speaker:

there's going to be a clarifying piece

here of opening oneself when you're

Speaker:

in a experience of seeing and

attuning to whatever that subtle thing

Speaker:

is that you do sense or

know or hear or feel,

Speaker:

and then moving towards that.

Speaker:

And so here's a guideline

for you through this year,

Speaker:

is this invitation to reconnect, to

original what I'm calling original desire.

Speaker:

And that is the thing that

is propelling you forward,

Speaker:

the irresistible pull,

Speaker:

that gravity almost that

exists inside of a black hole.

Speaker:

What is the irresistible pull in your

life that is just like, you can't,

Speaker:

can't help but be intrigued by it,

fascinated by it, want to move towards it.

Speaker:

Maybe it doesn't make sense, but

you're just like, I don't know,

Speaker:

it's that thing or that avenue,

that person not that inspiration.

Speaker:

I want you to trust the original desire

and the irresistible pull to trust it

Speaker:

and let the gravity of that be here

to hold you and know that you won't be

Speaker:

dropped as you move towards

it. Because the fear,

Speaker:

especially when it's something

that is, I don't know,

Speaker:

a little left field or maybe

uncharted, we can feel like, well,

Speaker:

if I start moving towards

that, I'm just going to drop.

Speaker:

But to know that you're held as you

move towards those irresistible poles,

Speaker:

they're really important.

Speaker:

So I invite you to maybe make a list of

the things you're feeling pulled towards

Speaker:

right now. And if you don't have

that or there's nothing on the list,

Speaker:

then think about yourself as a

child or earlier in your life.

Speaker:

What were your obsessions?

Speaker:

What were your passions during

this more innocent original times

Speaker:

in your life? What were the things

that you were deeply fascinated by?

Speaker:

Often that list can show us or give

us clues for what is the original

Speaker:

desire inside of us, the

original desire of our souls.

Speaker:

So this year I have this feeling that

it's going to be less about working

Speaker:

really hard to build something,

Speaker:

although you might work really

hard and you might build something,

Speaker:

but that the driving energy through

which the building will come is

Speaker:

surrendering to the pole.

Speaker:

And it's like you'll go much further if

you just surrender to what is pulling

Speaker:

you ahead. And

Speaker:

the phrase came through that it's like

the irresistible poles are what is going

Speaker:

to bring us through the event horizon.

That's what we call this red

Speaker:

ring that surrounds these black holes.

Speaker:

And I like this in particular because one

Speaker:

of the things about event horizons

is it seems like time and space

Speaker:

ceases to exist, which is cool.

Speaker:

But I think this is

helpful when we have some,

Speaker:

there might be some really big

events this year, global events,

Speaker:

that's the feeling that I get.

And when something big happens,

Speaker:

especially something that feels like

unbalancing or upsetting or off kilter,

Speaker:

to reframe it as like

this is an event horizon,

Speaker:

that this event horizon is actually

something that is working with the

Speaker:

timeline of this planet, and it's

pulling me towards my soul's calling.

Speaker:

It's showing me what's most important,

what my work is in this lifetime,

Speaker:

and it's pulling me into what I

would like to rename black holes as,

Speaker:

which is the generative space that is

unknown. It's like pulling me into the

Speaker:

generative space that is unknown.

Speaker:

So when these events happen

and they feel like upsetting or

Speaker:

unbalancing, like think of

them instead of as events.

Speaker:

This is an event horizon through which

I'm being shown what is most important

Speaker:

for me, and I'm being pulled

into this generative space,

Speaker:

inner space and outer

space that is unknown,

Speaker:

but that is ultimately here to help

me birth the next era of my life.

Speaker:

I think it's also really important this

year to have some practices that are all

Speaker:

about befriending the

mystery. What does that mean?

Speaker:

To befriend the mystery?

Speaker:

To really feel like the mystery is a force

Speaker:

that is benevolent, that is caring

for you, that cares for you.

Speaker:

So some things that come to mind for

me are spending time in darkness,

Speaker:

maybe just having the

evening be by candlelight or

spending time outside and the

Speaker:

darkness meditating with the void,

Speaker:

like having a meditation

practice where you are,

Speaker:

imagine yourself floating in the void,

Speaker:

floating in stillness. Maybe you even

have a flotation tank company near you

Speaker:

where you can go float in darkness.

Speaker:

But any of these practices of

connecting into that space,

Speaker:

like the zazen meditation of just

the focus on the nothingness,

Speaker:

the void, that generative space,

Speaker:

any of these practices are going to be

really helpful as we move into this year

Speaker:

ahead, where so much is unknown,

but so much is like being forged,

Speaker:

and you're a part of that forging.

Speaker:

You are creating that forging by

being willing to pay attention to the

Speaker:

irresistible poles in your own life,

Speaker:

being open to the mystery and committing

to your own soul and your own soul's

Speaker:

journey into remembering what

those original commitments are.

Speaker:

So leave space for the mystery, leave

space for the potential and the unfolding,

Speaker:

and know that no thingness,

Speaker:

this is really just a space

where something new can

Speaker:

arise. So especially if you're in a

space where some of it feels unknown or

Speaker:

undefined,

Speaker:

that there's so much here that

is coming out of this space,

Speaker:

of this void space, and that ultimately,

this is the heart of life's mystery,

Speaker:

that when you're touching these

void spaces in your own life or

Speaker:

you feel like you're in a black hole,

Speaker:

you are touching the heart

of the mystery of existence,

Speaker:

which is that out of

nothingness arises something.

Speaker:

And that's powerful. That's very,

very powerful to connect to.

Speaker:

So if it feels good to do so

literally imagine putting that ring

Speaker:

on. You can feel its warmth, its weight,

Speaker:

and just sink into this phrase,

Speaker:

which is something my guides told me as

I was closing out my meditation to bring

Speaker:

in the information re's image,

which is that you are supported.

Speaker:

You are so, so supported.

And the more you feel that,

Speaker:

and the more you surrender

to it, the more you trust it,

Speaker:

the more you will be held.

So the more you surrender,

Speaker:

the more you can trust. And so it

doesn't necessarily have to come first,

Speaker:

right? You don't have to trust first.

Speaker:

You can start surrendering and then the

trust will come because you'll see that

Speaker:

you're held, you're void.

You are within this space,

Speaker:

this generative void.

Speaker:

So this year might require some courage,

Speaker:

but I think that that is

a really powerful thing.

Speaker:

There's no doubt about it, right?

Speaker:

This year is calling for

us to step in with courage,

Speaker:

courage to face the unknown courage,

Speaker:

the courage that it takes to surrender

to that irresistible pull in your life.

Speaker:

But this ultimately is a remaking,

it's a forging, it's a reorganization,

Speaker:

a remembering, literally putting

back together a recommitment.

Speaker:

And through this year,

Speaker:

you'll be able to touch some

of the original timeline

that has been in place for

Speaker:

your life,

Speaker:

the original timeline when that was

embedded into this plan for your

Speaker:

one sacred, precious, amazing,

Speaker:

unfolding magical life.

And so that's what can come

Speaker:

out of the generative mystery

of this upcoming year,

Speaker:

just through making this commitment to

your own self and your own unfolding.

Speaker:

So that is my reading for

:

Speaker:

If part of your plans for

:

Speaker:

a business or stepping into the

next phase of your business,

Speaker:

we are doing our yearly sale on my

business course called Business As a

Speaker:

Spiritual Journey. And if you're

listening to this live or real time,

Speaker:

then this is going to start, the

sale is going to start next week,

Speaker:

so you can tune into that.

Speaker:

And if you're listening to this later and

the sale is not happening, no worries,

Speaker:

the course is available year round.

Speaker:

But if you are here in

listening in January,

Speaker:

then definitely tune into that sale.

Speaker:

If you have a business and it is

something that you are ready to

Speaker:

have your business carry you through the

Speaker:

uncertainty of the times ahead,

Speaker:

through the generative mystery

of what's about to happen and the

Speaker:

timelines that are shifting and changing,

Speaker:

and the commitment that soul forging

inside of you that is driving you the

Speaker:

irresistible pull. If you have an

irresistible pull to step into creating a

Speaker:

business or to uplevel your business,

then I'd love to see you there.

Speaker:

So thank you so much for watching.

Thank you so much for listening,

Speaker:

and thank you so much for

all the commitments that

you are making to yourself,

Speaker:

to your path, to your

passion, to your purpose,

Speaker:

because it all matters so much

in the making of this world.
