Shownotes

Sometimes life moves so fast that we forget to pause long enough to honor what we have lived.

This bonus guided meditation invites you into a quiet space of reflection, where you can gently review your past month, quarter, or year through the image of weaving. Each experience, whether joyful, challenging, tangled, or bright, becomes a thread in the tapestry of your life.

In this meditation, you are guided to slow your breath, settle into your body, and visualize yourself as the Soul Weaver. There is no need to fix, judge, or untangle anything. Instead, you choose which moments to weave forward with intention, allowing contrast, texture, and depth to reveal their meaning.

This is a practice of honoring your journey, embracing your truth, and recognizing that nothing you’ve experienced is wasted.

Best enjoyed when you can sit or lie down comfortably. Please do not listen while driving.

Speaker A:

Hello there, beautiful souls.

Speaker A:

It is Kim Parkinson, and I am bringing you this bonus meditation today.

Speaker A:

Sometimes our lives are so very busy that we need to find that time that we can sit and reflect.

Speaker A:

And this meditation is a meditation about your past month, quarter, year.

Speaker A:

You make it what it should be, what you need it to be.

Speaker A:

I hope that this meditation allows you time to sit and reflect.

Speaker A:

You can sit down for this meditation or lie down, whichever makes you more comfortable.

Speaker A:

But if you are driving, this isn't the time for the meditation.

Speaker A:

Please come back to it when you have time to reflect and perhaps close your eyes, so please be safe.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

Please close your eyes and get comfy.

Speaker A:

Settle into your breath.

Speaker A:

Let your body soften with each exhale.

Speaker A:

Notice the place where your body meets the chair or the floor.

Speaker A:

Or maybe it's the earth beneath you.

Speaker A:

There is nothing you need to do right now.

Speaker A:

Nothing you need to fix.

Speaker A:

Just breathe with every inhale.

Speaker A:

Invite presence with every exhale.

Speaker A:

Release the weight of the day.

Speaker A:

Breathe in.

Speaker A:

Hold.

Speaker A:

Breathe out.

Speaker A:

Hold.

Speaker A:

Allow your breath to find its own rhythm.

Speaker A:

Easy, natural.

Speaker A:

Steady.

Speaker A:

Now imagine yourself in a quiet room filled with soft, natural light.

Speaker A:

The air feels calm, still and safe.

Speaker A:

Before you is a loom.

Speaker A:

Simple, sturdy and beautiful.

Speaker A:

It waits patiently.

Speaker A:

Around you are threads of every color and texture.

Speaker A:

Silk and cotton, rough hemp and delicate gold.

Speaker A:

Each thread represents a moment from your month, from your quarter, or from your year.

Speaker A:

Some are bright with joy.

Speaker A:

Some are darker, with challenge.

Speaker A:

Some are tangled.

Speaker A:

And some shine effortlessly.

Speaker A:

You are the sole weaver.

Speaker A:

You do not need to untangle the knots.

Speaker A:

You do not need to judge the colors.

Speaker A:

You do not need to force any meeting on any of the colors or textures.

Speaker A:

You simply choose one.

Speaker A:

Pick up one thread.

Speaker A:

Feel it between your fingers.

Speaker A:

Notice its texture.

Speaker A:

Notice its weight.

Speaker A:

Notice its color.

Speaker A:

What does it represent?

Speaker A:

A moment of courage, A loss, a beginning, a lesson.

Speaker A:

A joy you almost forgot.

Speaker A:

Gently weave it into the loom.

Speaker A:

Now pick up another thread.

Speaker A:

This one may feel heavier, or maybe it's lighter.

Speaker A:

It might surprise you without overthinking.

Speaker A:

Weave it in.

Speaker A:

Add another.

Speaker A:

And notice how the threads begin to speak to one another.

Speaker A:

How they create relationship.

Speaker A:

How they create pattern.

Speaker A:

How they create meaning.

Speaker A:

Even the darkest threads, they create depth.

Speaker A:

The tangled threads, they add texture.

Speaker A:

And the gold thread, it shines brighter because of the contrast around it.

Speaker A:

Nothing here is wasted.

Speaker A:

You are weaving your story with intention.

Speaker A:

Not perfection, not comparison, just truth.

Speaker A:

When you feel complete, step back.

Speaker A:

Take in the tapestry you've created.

Speaker A:

Notice the movement.

Speaker A:

Notice the strength.

Speaker A:

Notice the beauty that could only exist because you wove it in.

Speaker A:

This is your time.

Speaker A:

This is your month.

Speaker A:

This is your quarter.

Speaker A:

This is your year.

Speaker A:

It's woven with care, with honesty, and it's woven with soul.

Speaker A:

Now place your hand over your heart.

Speaker A:

Feel the warmth beneath your palm.

Speaker A:

This weaving lives within you.

Speaker A:

It moves with you.

Speaker A:

It supports you.

Speaker A:

You do not leave it behind.

Speaker A:

It comes with you.

Speaker A:

This is your creation.

Speaker A:

This is your journey.

Speaker A:

This is the path you have made.

Speaker A:

Honor it.

Speaker A:

Love it.

Speaker A:

Rejoice in it.

Speaker A:

Now begin to bring your awareness back to your breath, back to your body, back to the space around you.

Speaker A:

Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes Gently Roll your ankles, Roll your wrists.

Speaker A:

When you are ready, open your eyes and carry this weaving with you.

Speaker A:

Breathe and return.
