Welcome to today's episode, and I do not have a decluttering challenge for you right now. I do them twice a year but I do want to talk to you about why decluttering challenges work so well, for moms especially, and how you can basically use the concept of a decluttering challenge at any point. Because, as a creator, as the leader of motherhood simplified I know that when I decide to run a challenge is based on when it's good and convenient for me, and I do my best to do it at times of the year where I know moms are also wanting to declutter or maybe it's season where they have a little bit more time to declutter. So I usually do one in May, right before school gets out, so that you can get ready for summer at home with your kids and things are getting kind of warmed in the Northern Hemisphere. I know a lot of you guys are like in Australia and the other side of the world, where it's not getting warmer, it's getting colder, right, but it's a transitional time and it's a transitional time seasonally. So it's also transitional where if you declutter and do this challenge, you'll be ready for summer with your kids. And then I do it again in fall, october ghost or clutter, and then I move into a four week challenge that we do during November so that your house is ready for the holidays, and we're kind of doing it at the beginning of fall, before the deep winter hits. And historically you know, those challenges are really successful. We have a lot of participation, thousands of moms and people get really good progress and results during those two challenges. But I can't do challenges all the time, right, and I can't make sure that my timing is perfect for everybody else's timing, and so if you rely on decluttering challenges from other creators whether it's me I see other creators doing challenges all the time. You're at the mercy of their timeline. So I want to talk to you about why decluttering challenges work so well, why they're effective, so that you can understand that. I think it's important for you to understand why a challenge works for you and then how to essentially use those components for yourself at any time that's convenient for you, so you don't have to wait for somebody on Instagram to say, hey, I'm doing the decluttering challenge. Come join me. You can take, you know, you can take initiative and do this for yourself. Okay, so Three reasons that decluttering challenges work so well for moms are number one.
