Shownotes

Radiant Icons, this one's for you.

In this tea time sesh, Amanda sits down with Hannah and Jessica of the Fashionably Single podcast for a bold, unfiltered conversation about what it really means to be iconic in your single girl season.

This isn’t a “waiting to be chosen” era — it’s a choosing yourself era.

The trio dives into redefining singlehood in your late 20s and 30s, breaking the stigma around being unmarried, and embracing independence as a power move — not a placeholder. From navigating past relationships, marriage, and breakups to learning how to be alone without feeling lonely, this conversation is your reminder that single does not mean lacking.

There’s laughter (including chaotic hike-date stories), real friendship tea, and a powerful reflection on what their 20-year-old selves would be proud of today.

If you’ve ever felt behind, pressured, or questioned for being single — this episode is your permission slip to embrace your timeline, own your softness and your strength, and remember:

Your single season isn’t a gap year.

It’s a glow-up era.

Plus, Hannah and Jessica give us a sneak peek at Fashionably Single Season 2 — and how they’re leaning even deeper into friendship, fashion, and fully enjoying the now.

22

:

And now that we have done all

of that radiant icons, let's

23

:

get to that piping hot tea.

24

:

Let's spill the tea

with Jessica and Hannah.

25

:

Are you ready?

26

:

Radiance icons because your

tea time sesh is starting now.

27

:

Hannah and Jessica.

28

:

Oh my goodness.

29

:

I am so excited for today's tea time.

30

:

sesh welcome to Dare to Be Iconic.

31

:

I have to tell you guys, when I first

listened to Fashionably Single, I got

32

:

very like sex in the city, the bold type.

33

:

Are you guys familiar with

the bull type by any chance?

34

:

It was on Freeform.

35

:

Fashionably Single: I have not.

36

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Oh my.

37

:

Okay.

38

:

First off, you need to watch it.

39

:

Okay.

40

:

That's actually the first thing

you have to do after this tee time

41

:

session is you need to go on HBO Max.

42

:

You can go on Netflix, wherever

it is, and I need you to watch it

43

:

automatically and then text me, because

when I listen to Fashionly single, I

44

:

think of Sex in the City, and I think

of the bold type with Austin Vibes.

45

:

So what I'm telling you is that I need you

guys to start a reality show, basically.

46

:

Fashionably Single: Oh,

47

:

Amanda Paolicelli: okay.

48

:

Fashionably Single: My gosh.

49

:

Our reality show be crazy.

50

:

Amanda Paolicelli: And that's exactly

why, and that's exactly why you

51

:

guys would beat the Kardashians.

52

:

Okay.

53

:

That's just what I'm saying.

54

:

Okay.

55

:

Oh heck yeah.

56

:

So, um, that's, that's what I need

because you guys are so iconic.

57

:

Um, but speaking of you guys just

being iconic, we have to get into

58

:

some dare to be iconic essentials.

59

:

So.

60

:

What does the phrase dare

to be iconic mean to you?

61

:

And how do you dare to be

iconic in your everyday life?

62

:

Fashionably Single: You wanna go first?

63

:

Yeah, sure.

64

:

Okay.

65

:

So I think daring to be iconic to me

means being confident in your own skin,

66

:

being fearless, um, and being bold.

67

:

And I think I live that in my

everyday life just by being myself.

68

:

I.

69

:

I like to romanticize my life.

70

:

I lived, I like to live a soft girl life.

71

:

I love to just sit at a cafe

by myself and read or write.

72

:

And then I also like to go out with

my friends and get dressed up and

73

:

get cute, but I just love doing

what I love to do in the moment

74

:

and just take it day by day period.

75

:

Amanda Paolicelli:

Jessica, what about you?

76

:

Fashionably Single: I think for

me, when I think of like, what does

77

:

dare to be iconic mean to me, I

really focus on the word iconic.

78

:

Mm-hmm.

79

:

And so.

80

:

It, I, I, I wanna translate it

into dare to make an impact.

81

:

'cause when I think of iconic,

it means like it's impactful.

82

:

Okay.

83

:

Did I strike the nerve?

84

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Yes.

85

:

I love it.

86

:

No, I love it.

87

:

It's like so good.

88

:

It's like piping hot tea.

89

:

Okay.

90

:

I'm sorry.

91

:

Keep going.

92

:

I'm so sorry.

93

:

So good.

94

:

Fashionably Single: So I think

of like, when you wake up every

95

:

morning, you should be thinking,

how am I gonna make an impact today?

96

:

Or what is the impact

that I'm gonna make today?

97

:

It could be something personal

like your family, your career,

98

:

yourself, your health, or it

could be on a much larger scale.

99

:

So I mean, you could think of like, how am

I gonna make an impact in my community or

100

:

in the world if you wanna go like grand.

101

:

But I really do think it is how

dare to make a positive impact.

102

:

That's how I interpret it.

103

:

And then for me, in my own personal

life, um, I would say I represent

104

:

the iconic vibe by just taking risks.

105

:

I feel like I've always had this

mentality of, if I want to try

106

:

something, what is stopping me?

107

:

And 99% of the time it's

nothing except for myself.

108

:

And I refuse to let like imposter syndrome

or feelings of inadequacy stop me from

109

:

having this experience or opportunities.

110

:

So that's, that's what I think it is.

111

:

It's just, for me, it's just

every day just taking a risk.

112

:

Amanda Paolicelli: So you guys

are daring to make an impact

113

:

through Fashionably Single.

114

:

You guys are daring to be bold, daring

to be fearless in your own ways, right?

115

:

And your podcast is an honest

reflection of that, right?

116

:

Mm-hmm.

117

:

And you guys have this instant

chemistry that you can feel

118

:

through the Mic Radiance icons.

119

:

If you have not listened to Fashionly

Single, you honestly are missing out and

120

:

you need to stop this episode and you

need to go listen to Fashionly single

121

:

and then come back to this one, okay?

122

:

Okay.

123

:

But any who?

124

:

Anyway, I just love that you can

feel the chemistry through the mic.

125

:

And so how do you know when

to say yes to new connections?

126

:

Even when it feels random or

risky, because correct me if I'm

127

:

wrong, the way Fashionably single

started was because of a random

128

:

connection that we didn't see coming.

129

:

Right, right.

130

:

I know I'm trying to tease

it, but you know what I mean.

131

:

Fashionably Single: Yeah.

132

:

I, I will say that the way that

Hannah and I met was, it was

133

:

unconventional, I think, but it was

probably one of the best stories

134

:

that I have when I'm like, oh yeah.

135

:

You know, like Hannah is one of my best

friends and we didn't meet in the, the

136

:

most, like, I don't know, you'll just

have to go listen to the episodes Exactly.

137

:

After.

138

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Exactly.

139

:

Fashionably Single: But, um.

140

:

I would say for, for me, it's like I

love meeting people and I love talking

141

:

to people, and I am the type of person

that's just gonna, like, if I'm sitting

142

:

at a bar and somebody's sitting next to

me, I'm gonna lean over and be like, Hey.

143

:

What are you reading?

144

:

Yeah.

145

:

If they're reading a book,

146

:

Amanda Paolicelli: my Worst Nightmare,

147

:

Fashionably Single: Hannah and I are

very different, but it, but it works.

148

:

Amanda Paolicelli: You guys

are like the yin and yang.

149

:

Okay.

150

:

Like, I love it.

151

:

Yeah.

152

:

Like you have to, you

have to have that balance.

153

:

Fashionably Single: So I think

it's, I think the, the random

154

:

connections that appear in your

life for the random opportunities

155

:

to meet someone are some of the.

156

:

Best because I always look at it as like,

one, a networking opportunity, like how is

157

:

this new person going to come in my life

and how are we gonna benefit each other?

158

:

But then also two, just taking

the time to meet someone.

159

:

I, I just think it's so, it's

just such a great experience.

160

:

I love it.

161

:

Hannah's gonna say something else.

162

:

Amanda Paolicelli: No, it's okay.

163

:

I love it.

164

:

'cause we all are daring

to be ourselves, right?

165

:

We have all these different perspectives.

166

:

Like I am more like you Jess.

167

:

Like when Hannah was saying on Fashionably

single about like Jess is the one

168

:

to be like talking on the airplane

next to their like plane partner.

169

:

Okay.

170

:

Where whatever the phrasing is.

171

:

Okay.

172

:

Like I just remember laughing

and I being like, yep, that's me.

173

:

I am Jessica in that moment.

174

:

Like I am the person who talks, but

my sister is like Hannah, where my

175

:

sister would not do that at all.

176

:

In fact, she judges me for doing that.

177

:

You know what I'm saying?

178

:

So it actually, the thought

of like sitting at a bar and

179

:

then somebody else at the bar.

180

:

Turning to me and wanting to talk to

me, that is like not the reason why I

181

:

Fashionably Single: That is so funny.

182

:

Amanda Paolicelli: It's so

crazy that we're friends.

183

:

Fashionably Single: I know.

184

:

Because it really is when I'm,

when when we're out like and about

185

:

and I'm, I randomly am talking to

someone, I can see her face being

186

:

like, oh my God, to wrap this up.

187

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Yeah.

188

:

So I'm pretty,

189

:

Fashionably Single: I would,

190

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I don't

know, I guess I'm introverted.

191

:

Okay.

192

:

But not like with my group of people.

193

:

Fashionably Single: Yeah.

194

:

But

195

:

Amanda Paolicelli: yeah, so when

I, it takes me, I'm very like in

196

:

my shell when I meet new people.

197

:

Mm-hmm.

198

:

And I feel like it's an

intuition thing for me.

199

:

Like it's just a, uh, kind of

trust my gut thing if I feel like

200

:

letting you into my inner circle.

201

:

But Jessica is pretty instant.

202

:

Don't.

203

:

Fashionably Single: It wa it It's

crazy though, because the first time

204

:

we met I was, I was actually shocked

at how like, well we got along.

205

:

Yeah.

206

:

I just remember laughing a lot.

207

:

Yeah.

208

:

The whole time.

209

:

The whole time.

210

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I think I'm

gonna be laughing throughout

211

:

this entire tea time sesh.

212

:

'cause you, yeah, right.

213

:

Fashionably Single: And we

ended up, I think we were

214

:

there for what, like two hours.

215

:

Two hours?

216

:

Amanda Paolicelli: That's how,

you know, it's a good friendship.

217

:

You know what I mean?

218

:

Like when you can just like.

219

:

Keep talking to the person and

you're like, oh my goodness.

220

:

It's like 3:00 AM

221

:

Yeah.

222

:

Yeah.

223

:

Like where did the time go?

224

:

And it only feels like

two minutes has passed by.

225

:

Yeah.

226

:

That's how you know it's a real

friendship and one of the things I love

227

:

about Fashionly Single is that it's

an honest reflection about your life.

228

:

It reflects your friendship.

229

:

So how do you use those everyday moments?

230

:

Right.

231

:

Jessica- talking to someone in the

bar and Hannah being like, oh my

232

:

God, like please, like, please stop.

233

:

How do you use those everyday

moments to practice showing up

234

:

boldly and unapologetically?

235

:

Fashionably Single: You know, if

Jessica does start talking to strangers

236

:

or if I am in a situation, you know,

I have, I have another friend who is

237

:

also very talkative, just like Jessica

and I just try and be positive and,

238

:

you know, it is, it is a good way

to meet people and make connections.

239

:

Mm-hmm.

240

:

I need to, I definitely

need to be more open to it.

241

:

Um.

242

:

Like networking.

243

:

I feel like I was just, unless this

was a dream, but I feel like I was

244

:

just somewhere, oh, I went to a baby

shower and like I didn't know that many

245

:

people, but I was talking to people.

246

:

You'd have been so proud of me.

247

:

Wow.

248

:

That is so

249

:

I have like real

conversations with strangers.

250

:

That's amazing.

251

:

That's great.

252

:

I'm very proud.

253

:

I remember their names.

254

:

Wow.

255

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Yeah.

256

:

Fashionably Single: That's impressive.

257

:

I do think that it's.

258

:

It's like a balance.

259

:

Okay.

260

:

Like we kind of push each

other in different ways.

261

:

Mm-hmm.

262

:

And so just how you're saying, like,

I'm out there talking and she's a little

263

:

bit more reserved, but there's a lot of

things that I am reserved on, especially

264

:

the fashion aspect of our podcast.

265

:

Ah.

266

:

I don't know.

267

:

I mean, I don't, it's not my thing.

268

:

I appreciate it and I think

anybody that understands fashion.

269

:

That's amazing because

I don't get it at all.

270

:

And so there are things that Hannah

will like push me to try on, or if

271

:

she's like, you should wear that, or

this, or this is how you style that.

272

:

I, I do feel like we do push each

other in different aspects of mm-hmm.

273

:

Of our, like what, what we have

for strengths and weaknesses.

274

:

Mm-hmm.

275

:

Would you agree?

276

:

Yeah.

277

:

No, I think we compliment each

other in that way very well.

278

:

Yeah.

279

:

Like if it was the end of the world.

280

:

And you had a map, don't mind

that you had to get somewhere.

281

:

She wouldn't be able to

get anywhere without me.

282

:

We're never gonna drop this.

283

:

Let me ask you really quick,

Amanda can please, can you

284

:

read a map, like a paper map?

285

:

Okay.

286

:

Wait, wait, wait.

287

:

Okay.

288

:

If somebody gave you a paper map and you

knew where you were on the map and you

289

:

needed to get to point B, would you be

able to read that map and get to point B?

290

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Okay,

so I'm like embarrassed.

291

:

Fashionably Single: No, no.

292

:

Please say it.

293

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I, I, I

would not, I'm 27 years old.

294

:

You heard it here first.

295

:

radiant icons.

296

:

I'm 27 years old and I would not

know how to get from point A to B.

297

:

Um, I also don't drive a car

even though I do have a license.

298

:

So there's like that too.

299

:

Like I know I'm directionally challenged.

300

:

Like if you, if you saw me in Spain

trying to figure out that train system.

301

:

Oh.

302

:

I'm surprised I made it out

alive, to be honest with you.

303

:

I really, I, I am very surprised.

304

:

Fashionably Single: So

we've been another point.

305

:

Yeah.

306

:

We've been having this debate for

the last, last 24 hours about how

307

:

I, oh, please tell me about it.

308

:

Read a map.

309

:

I'm not, I'm in my thirties and I

don't, I I'm directionally challenged.

310

:

She gets that's okay.

311

:

Every time she has to

with GPS, she gets lost.

312

:

Every time she has to go somewhere

in Austin, she takes the wrong turn.

313

:

My brain's just going and

I'm not paying attention.

314

:

But when it comes to a,

like a parchment map,

315

:

Amanda Paolicelli: yes,

316

:

Fashionably Single: I, I am.

317

:

It's not gonna happen.

318

:

Amanda Paolicelli: A parchment map

I love, I mean, if it's not gonna

319

:

happen with somebody telling you

the directions, I, you're right.

320

:

I don't think it's gonna happen.

321

:

I could have been a visual learner.

322

:

Fashionably Single: You also

have the visual on your cart.

323

:

Okay, continue.

324

:

Amanda, we're sorry.

325

:

Amanda Paolicelli: No, this

is all very debate last night.

326

:

No, I love it.

327

:

I love it.

328

:

Because you know what?

329

:

You guys are just daring to be iconic.

330

:

Like you're daring to be yourselves.

331

:

You're owning that you

are directly challenged.

332

:

Hannah is like, I know you

cannot make it anywhere without

333

:

me like you are owning that.

334

:

So sweet.

335

:

Fashionably Single: She drives

my car wherever we drive.

336

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Driving.

337

:

She drives your car driving.

338

:

Fashionably Single: Oh yeah.

339

:

Amanda Paolicelli: So you're

the passenger princess.

340

:

Fashionably Single: Absolutely.

341

:

Amanda Paolicelli: And

that's on periodt though.

342

:

I'm, I, I'm like, I have aspects

of Hannah and I have aspects of

343

:

Jessica, like this is very, we

should do like a personality quiz.

344

:

Like I feel like we should do like

a Fashionly single personality.

345

:

It's like those Buzz Sprout quizzes that

you would take in the middle of AP Psych.

346

:

You know what I mean?

347

:

Because you don't wanna pay attention.

348

:

Absolutely.

349

:

So you would just take the bus.

350

:

Or not Buzzsprout, buzzfeed quizzes.

351

:

You know what I mean?

352

:

And just be like, oh, who do I have today?

353

:

And it's like, oh, am I Jessica?

354

:

Or I'm more like Hannah.

355

:

Like, that's what you guys should do.

356

:

Fashionably Single: That

would be really cute.

357

:

That would be so fun.

358

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Like I

feel like that's so good.

359

:

And then I'll take it and I'll let

you know who I'm more like, but I feel

360

:

like I have aspects of both of you.

361

:

Fashionably Single: That's a great idea.

362

:

I love that idea.

363

:

Amanda Paolicelli: You're welcome.

364

:

You're welcome.

365

:

Since we're, you know, speaking about

your podcast being a very public

366

:

reflection of your life, I mean, we

just got a snippet of it right now, of

367

:

what to expecton fashionably single.

368

:

Can you think of a time of

when you held back and then

369

:

you decided to fully speak up?

370

:

What did that teach you

about your own power?

371

:

Fashionably Single: So actually I have

a, when I was reading this question.

372

:

There was something that

immediately popped into my mind.

373

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Ooh.

374

:

Fashionably Single: And

even then I was like, Ooh.

375

:

I was like, I don't know if I

wanna actually say that on here.

376

:

I was like, well, you know what?

377

:

You already put it on your podcast, but

there's an episode, a specific episode,

378

:

um, and I think it's the episode where

Hannah and I are discussing different

379

:

types of griefs, and I started to share.

380

:

Story, um, that involved my, my ex and I

even paused in the episode and I was like,

381

:

Ooh, I don't know if I wanna share this.

382

:

'cause I

383

:

Amanda Paolicelli: remember that.

384

:

Yes.

385

:

Fashionably Single: I was like, it might

make me sound like a shitty person.

386

:

And then I, I was like, you know what?

387

:

I'm just gonna go with it because

what's great about editing, I was

388

:

like, I can always take it out later.

389

:

But I ended up leaving it in.

390

:

Um, because I, it was a situation

where I don't think I handled it in the

391

:

best way, and it ended up hurting him.

392

:

Okay.

393

:

And so I was like, man, I don't

wanna put myself in that light.

394

:

But then I thought about transparency

and how powerful that is.

395

:

When I'm listening to, like when I first

listened to your podcast, I was like,

396

:

man, I was going through something that

very similar to you, what you had gone

397

:

through in different variations and

forms, but the feelings were the same.

398

:

Yeah.

399

:

And I was like, it's so nice to

know that I don't feel alone.

400

:

So I was like, if somebody

listens to this story.

401

:

They're like, you know what?

402

:

I've been in the same situation and

I've kind of been not the best person.

403

:

Uh, and that's nice to know

that I'm not the only one.

404

:

So that's why I just kind of

went for it, even though I

405

:

definitely had some reservations.

406

:

What I thought of was just my, kind

of my relationship overall with my ex.

407

:

Mm-hmm.

408

:

I feel like I really, I.

409

:

Lost myself in that relationship.

410

:

Mm-hmm.

411

:

And like dimmed myself a lot

to appease him and like be the

412

:

woman I thought that he wanted.

413

:

Um, so definitely, you know, towards

the end of our relationship, I started

414

:

I think being more myself again, and

also just voicing, um, my opinions

415

:

more and how I was feeling more.

416

:

And then eventually

that led to our breakup.

417

:

I, you know, I still have love for him.

418

:

I think he's a great guy.

419

:

For someone else.

420

:

He never, you know, he was a great partner

in many ways, but I am so proud of myself

421

:

for making the decision to leave him.

422

:

Mm-hmm.

423

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Like it was the

hardest decision I've ever made.

424

:

Yeah.

425

:

It flipped my life upside down.

426

:

But that was definitely, I think,

an iconic moment for me to do that.

427

:

I think there is so much power

in choosing yourself and leaning

428

:

into that vulnerability of mm-hmm.

429

:

Owning your truth.

430

:

There is a stigma about being single in

your late twenties and in your thirties.

431

:

Mm-hmm.

432

:

And I think what is so powerful

about your podcast and what you guys

433

:

are doing is that you are kind of

redefining that narrative, right?

434

:

And taking that power back and showing

other young women that are in this single

435

:

girl season, single girl era of their

life, that it's not all gloom and doom.

436

:

It's the exact opposite, right?

437

:

And it starts with that choice of choosing

yourself and honoring that commitment.

438

:

So, how are you owning your voice in

this single girl season of your life?

439

:

What is one bold, risky move that you have

taken since starting Fashionably Single

440

:

and kind of seen the impact it has made?

441

:

Fashionably Single: I think, I don't

know, I don't wanna speak for both of

442

:

us, but I'm, I mean, think honestly

just starting this podcast, like taking

443

:

the risk to put our kind of personal

lives out there, um, and then really

444

:

embrace being single and just kind of.

445

:

I mean, I know we, you just said

something that resonated with me, which

446

:

was there is a stigma about being like

in your late twenties and thirties.

447

:

I mean, I feel like in my early

thirties, I felt it a lot, and even

448

:

when you know, my ex and I were

separating 'cause I was married.

449

:

There was a lot of shame that came with

it of like, oh my gosh, I like failed

450

:

and I'm supposed to be married at this

time and everybody has like family, you

451

:

know, is together in the relationships.

452

:

So there was a lot of shame that

I had to learn how to let go.

453

:

This podcast honestly has really helped

define for me, just embracing that it's

454

:

okay to be single and it's kind of fun.

455

:

We were talking about season two

and what we wanna talk about and we

456

:

were discussing how we are actually

really happy being single right now.

457

:

Like we both have a lot

going on in our lives.

458

:

We're, you know, have trips

planned, we're working on

459

:

business stuff, you know, we're.

460

:

Really thriving, I think.

461

:

Yeah.

462

:

Being in our thirties and single.

463

:

And so we were like, we're gonna

talk about that more in season two

464

:

rather than, you know, focusing

so much on the actual dating.

465

:

Like, we'll focus on the not dating,

um, and just living in that, I think.

466

:

Yeah.

467

:

And then also too, still being

open to like going on a date.

468

:

Like we're not Oh, yeah.

469

:

Cutting out.

470

:

We love love.

471

:

I love love, I love men.

472

:

Definitely.

473

:

Like we're, we're not cutting that

out, but like there's also just

474

:

nothing wrong with being single.

475

:

No, no.

476

:

We like, yeah.

477

:

But it's okay to be single until we find

that right person that we wanna be with.

478

:

And I think for me.

479

:

I, I'm also surrounded, I work, I

work in a restaurant, I'm a bartender.

480

:

Mm-hmm.

481

:

And I work with a lot of, like young

people, a lot of girl, well get girls and

482

:

guys that are in their, like late teens,

early twenties or like mid twenties.

483

:

Um, most of them are younger

than me, so, and they're all

484

:

going through relationship stuff.

485

:

Like a few of my friends just, you

know, are going through breakups

486

:

or thinking about breaking up and

sometimes they say things like, I just.

487

:

I'm like getting old.

488

:

Like I really thought I

was gonna marry this guy.

489

:

Mm-hmm.

490

:

I wanted to be with him forever.

491

:

Like, what am I gonna do now?

492

:

I don't have that much time.

493

:

Like I wanna be married by 30.

494

:

And it's funny because you know, if you

would've asked me 10 years ago when I was

495

:

21 working in a restaurant, I would've

probably been saying the same things.

496

:

Same.

497

:

And I kind of wanna be that example to

my friends and other girls that there is

498

:

nothing wrong with being 30 and single.

499

:

Absolutely not.

500

:

There's so much learning of, of

life that you still have to do

501

:

in your twenties, and so mm-hmm.

502

:

For me, I look a lot, I, I definitely

look back on like getting married

503

:

so young and just thinking like

we were babies and then we grew up

504

:

into two totally different people.

505

:

And so it's like, I wonder what

would've happened if he and I would've

506

:

met, you know, in our thirties.

507

:

Would we have, would it have worked?

508

:

You know?

509

:

So it's just interesting.

510

:

I think a lot of times

people just rush into things.

511

:

I definitely was one of 'em, but

um, yeah, I say just take your

512

:

time and being single's okay.

513

:

It's great.

514

:

Amanda Paolicelli: What's the

biggest lesson that you've learned

515

:

on the single girl journey?

516

:

Fashionably Single: Being

okay with being alone.

517

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Yeah.

518

:

' Fashionably Single: cause I think when

people hear the word alone, it's like,

519

:

Amanda Paolicelli: um, it's

scary to them, you know?

520

:

Fashionably Single: Yeah.

521

:

And like a negative connotation to it.

522

:

But I'm like actually being alone.

523

:

There is something so nice about it.

524

:

Now I'm still working on like being quiet.

525

:

Like we were just talking in

the car and Hannah was like,

526

:

sometimes silence is okay.

527

:

And I was like,

528

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I'm so dead.

529

:

That's another one of my quotes.

530

:

Can you put that on a t-shirt shirt?

531

:

Like that's too good.

532

:

Fashionably Single: I was like,

but I need the silence to end.

533

:

Amanda Paolicelli: That's fair.

534

:

Because I think like your brain

just keeps going, type five

535

:

Fashionably Single: that I just have

so many things I wanna talk about.

536

:

Mm-hmm.

537

:

And so,

538

:

Amanda Paolicelli: yeah.

539

:

I think for me it's like, I've heard

this before, you need to love yourself

540

:

before you can, you know, be loved or be

in a relationship and I think, mm-hmm.

541

:

This time that I've taken to learn about

myself as a single woman in my thirties,

542

:

um, has really made me believe that,

'cause I do like truly love myself now,

543

:

and I feel like I would be able to let

somebody in and truly love me as well.

544

:

Fashionably Single: Mm-hmm.

545

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I think the

concept of loving yourself is

546

:

foreign to a lot of people.

547

:

You know what I mean?

548

:

Mm-hmm.

549

:

Like choosing ourselves, loving ourselves.

550

:

So what would be like your, like

Hannah's go-to guide mm-hmm.

551

:

To learn how to fall in love with herself.

552

:

Right.

553

:

Or in how can I be my own best friend?

554

:

So what would yours be, Hannah?

555

:

Fashionably Single: I am like the

bestest friend to myself ever.

556

:

Okay.

557

:

I am too good.

558

:

I don't say no to myself and I, I need

to, can I tell her what you said the

559

:

other, the other day about the gifting?

560

:

And you're gonna, I don't

remember what I said, so, okay.

561

:

So I'm gonna say it we were planning,

or she was planning, and she was

562

:

like, I'm going to gift myself one

present every month and like just

563

:

a, like a purchase for myself.

564

:

And I was like, for.

565

:

Birthday and like year long birthday,

and she was like, no, just for being me.

566

:

Amanda Paolicelli: You know what,

Hannah, that's a very me thing too.

567

:

I get, I was, I literally like,

I kid you not, I was literally

568

:

thinking that the other day.

569

:

I was like, I should do

something for myself every month.

570

:

Like get myself a gift for

like a luxurious experience.

571

:

Yeah.

572

:

I support that.

573

:

Fashionably Single: I

574

:

Amanda Paolicelli: was like.

575

:

Fashionably Single: Did you

ever watch Parks and Rec?

576

:

Did y'all ever watch Parks and Rec?

577

:

Amanda Paolicelli: No, I did not.

578

:

Fashionably Single: Y'all should.

579

:

'cause there's this whole

like, treat yourself day.

580

:

Um, it's like a big thing, but that's

what it, that's what it makes me think of.

581

:

Where it's just one day where

these two characters just spend a

582

:

shit ton of money on themself, but

like, uh, on ridiculous things.

583

:

But it's one day outta the year.

584

:

Only Hannah has one day outta the.

585

:

Every month.

586

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Every month.

587

:

I think that's great.

588

:

Honestly, Hannah, that's like, that's

you just daring to be yourself.

589

:

You know?

590

:

Like that's you.

591

:

And like Jessica won't do that 'cause

that's not her and that's okay.

592

:

Yeah.

593

:

But I'm with you, Hannah.

594

:

Treat yourself every month.

595

:

Absolutely.

596

:

I'm like, I'm just fun.

597

:

Period.

598

:

Love life.

599

:

Live life.

600

:

Jessica is business all the time.

601

:

Fashionably Single: Budget, business.

602

:

Oh God, I know.

603

:

Budget.

604

:

We don't say the B word with Hannah.

605

:

I'm like, I can help me budget.

606

:

And she's like, oh, no,

607

:

Amanda Paolicelli: no.

608

:

I don't wanna hear the

word chills up my spine.

609

:

I can't.

610

:

Oh my goodness.

611

:

Okay.

612

:

So treating yourself once every month.

613

:

Okay.

614

:

What, what are some other steps,

Hannah, that you would recommend

615

:

to the radiant icons listening to

this who are like, you know what,

616

:

I need to fall in love with myself.

617

:

I'm gonna do what Hannah says.

618

:

Um, definitely invest

in like your health, so.

619

:

You know, if you haven't been working out

consistently, definitely find something

620

:

you enjoy doing that moves your body.

621

:

Fashionably Single: Mm-hmm.

622

:

Eat healthy foods, like fix up your diet.

623

:

I think investing before you invest

in like your look or your like makeup,

624

:

I would definitely invest in good

skincare, like making yourself glow

625

:

and getting like a good hair routine.

626

:

For sure.

627

:

Um.

628

:

Then we were talking about this, but

just being comfortable in yourself.

629

:

Like, I love, I love going out by myself.

630

:

Mm-hmm.

631

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Like going out to

eat, grabbing a drink, going to read,

632

:

going to a cafe, going on a walk.

633

:

I just, I love doing things alone.

634

:

Silence.

635

:

Fashionably Single: I like gonna the

movies alone, but that's about it.

636

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Yeah.

637

:

I think just investing in

your health and I think.

638

:

A big thing for me is I think

if you look good, like if you

639

:

do your hair and makeup mm-hmm.

640

:

And dress well, it makes you

feel better and that radiates

641

:

confidence and people can see that.

642

:

Mm-hmm.

643

:

I love that.

644

:

I agree with that.

645

:

I think when I, when I do my face

of makeup and my, I have a new lip

646

:

combo so I'm like so obsessed with it.

647

:

I'm like, oh my God.

648

:

Yeah, I'm that girl.

649

:

Like, period.

650

:

No one can tell me anything.

651

:

Like it's me and my lip convo

against the world, you know?

652

:

Um,

653

:

Fashionably Single: I'll say

too that you, your heel videos,

654

:

I'm like, I wanna do that.

655

:

Amanda Paolicelli: You

need to, you need to, yes.

656

:

I

657

:

Fashionably Single: looked

at them so many times.

658

:

Me too.

659

:

And I'll say,

660

:

this is, I, I'm like, I wanna try it.

661

:

And I'm getting closer too, but

that's a little bit like, whoa.

662

:

And I'm like, it's, it's fun though.

663

:

But it looks so fun.

664

:

What?

665

:

I'm thinking about you dancing in heels.

666

:

Oh

667

:

yeah.

668

:

I can't walk in heels.

669

:

I was like, wait a second.

670

:

If I make Jessica wear heels

anywhere, it is constant complaints.

671

:

Fashionably Single: Yes.

672

:

Constant.

673

:

Because we're moving in a straight

line and you walk like a cheetah, so

674

:

you go so fast, and I don't do that.

675

:

But she's dancing.

676

:

You're staying in pretty

much a tiny little spot.

677

:

There's a lot of floor movement.

678

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Oh, well, no.

679

:

Okay.

680

:

There's not.

681

:

It depends on the instructor, because

my instructors like to kill me.

682

:

I love you Brianna and Ashley.

683

:

I know you listened to this podcast

with a, like the other day, Brianna

684

:

was like, okay, I know last week

I killed your knees, but we're

685

:

gonna start on the floor again.

686

:

I said, Brianna, my knees

are still recovering.

687

:

What are we doing here?

688

:

Fashionably Single:

Some of those movements.

689

:

I'm like, how she was just down,

how did she get up that fast?

690

:

It would've taken like

691

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I girl, I don't know.

692

:

I don't know how I got up either,

693

:

Fashionably Single: but that

it does, it looks so fun.

694

:

Thank And that's the thing

that I think you were saying is

695

:

Amanda Paolicelli: it needs to do it,

696

:

Fashionably Single: the movement.

697

:

It doesn't have to be lifting weights.

698

:

Yeah.

699

:

I

700

:

hate lifting

701

:

weight, but it, it doesn't have to be

like weight training, just moving your

702

:

body, like playing a sport or just.

703

:

Walking, swimming, whatever it is.

704

:

I think that I do agree with you.

705

:

I think movement is so important.

706

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Yeah.

707

:

Something that is actually

a joyful experience for you.

708

:

Whether it's a heels

class, Pilates, a hike.

709

:

I know you guys, um, what was it?

710

:

Was Hannah Right?

711

:

That went on a first date

712

:

Fashionably Single: on a hike.

713

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Hike,

714

:

Fashionably Single: yeah.

715

:

With a potential serial killer.

716

:

Sure.

717

:

Amanda Paolicelli: It was

718

:

Fashionably Single: fun.

719

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I

actually did really well.

720

:

Fashionably Single: Yeah,

721

:

Amanda Paolicelli: your life.

722

:

Thank God.

723

:

You know, God bless, right?

724

:

I mean.

725

:

You took me on a hike too.

726

:

Our second time meeting side.

727

:

Fashionably Single: Second time.

728

:

Oh, we did?

729

:

I got it.

730

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Oh, because

of the directionally challenge.

731

:

Oh, it's all clicking now.

732

:

Now that I know.

733

:

Fashionably Single: I was

like, Hey, let's go on a hike.

734

:

And I normally go.

735

:

I normally do very well on this one

trail, and then I got cocky and I was

736

:

like, oh, you can take us off trail.

737

:

We ended up like in a creek.

738

:

She did not tell me we were going

off trail, by the way, the whole

739

:

time I thought she knew what she

was doing and all of a sudden we're

740

:

literally in the middle of the

woods and I'm like, wait a second.

741

:

We have not been on a path

for a few minutes now and all.

742

:

See her trees.

743

:

Yeah.

744

:

So did Hannah get you guys

outta that one, or no?

745

:

She did.

746

:

She did.

747

:

You did never been there before.

748

:

Amanda Paolicelli: So hannah, I have

to ask you something then, because,

749

:

I can just tell there's a lot of

fun stories with you and Jessica.

750

:

So can you spill the tea On a crazy

friendship story that you have

751

:

not shared on fashionably single.

752

:

So I'm talking like I dare to

be iconic exclusive, that you

753

:

can't wait to spill the tea on.

754

:

And Jessica, I'm gonna

ask you the same thing.

755

:

So, and get ready.

756

:

Fashionably Single: So the one that i'm

gonna tell is I was at Hannah's work and

757

:

we were also with one of our friends, um,

Tomas, who's also been on the podcast.

758

:

And, um, he had asked me,

oh, can I drive your car?

759

:

And I was like, sure, yeah, we can zip.

760

:

We were gonna go pick up some

food and then, and then come back.

761

:

And so as Tomas gets in the front seat.

762

:

I was in the passenger seat and

I'm in the backseat, not buckled.

763

:

And, um, we were, we

weren't going too far.

764

:

It was all, and you were

literally sitting in the middle,

765

:

in the, sitting in the middle.

766

:

And it was all very, we were literally

going around the corner and I always

767

:

forget to tell people that my brakes are

so sensitive, so sensitive in my car.

768

:

And so we're driving along and I think

I'm just like a happy little camper

769

:

in the backseat, just minding my own

business, talking and he presses the

770

:

brake, Hannah's in the passenger seat,

and I just go flying forward into the

771

:

front and I mean, I, I literally was like,

oh my God, the concrete is gonna hurt

772

:

so bad, I gonna go through the window.

773

:

But when I came up and I

realized I wasn't dead.

774

:

Hannah was like blue in the face from

laughing so hard and all Sweet tomas

775

:

was like, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry.

776

:

And Hannah was like,

777

:

Amanda Paolicelli: and this is

why you need a reality show.

778

:

Fashionably Single: It was no, and I

dunno if you said this, but we were

779

:

literally in a parking lot of like the

domain, which is like a shopping area.

780

:

So we were pulling out of the

parking lot and we were just.

781

:

In the parking lot trying to get like onto

the road that goes in between the shops.

782

:

'Cause we're probably literally

going like five miles an hour.

783

:

Yeah.

784

:

It was nothing.

785

:

Amanda Paolicelli: It was hilarious.

786

:

Fashionably Single: But I, I was like, my

face is gonna crack through the window.

787

:

I was certain that it

was, immediate death.

788

:

I know.

789

:

I know, and then this is what I was

like, where's the, where's the care?

790

:

Like you almost lost me.

791

:

What was Tomas even doing?

792

:

What do you mean?

793

:

Was he laughing?

794

:

No, he felt so bad.

795

:

And then once he realized

I was still conscious.

796

:

He was like, then he started laughing.

797

:

I feel like, I just remember him

being really like he was in shock.

798

:

He was in, no, me or him?

799

:

Him.

800

:

He was in shock because he

almost committed murder.

801

:

It was a complete accident, and

honestly, it would've been my fault.

802

:

I forgot to tell him that

my breaks are psycho, but,

803

:

Amanda Paolicelli: and you also

didn't have your like seatbelt

804

:

Fashionably Single: on?

805

:

I didn't.

806

:

And that again, my fault

didn't have my seatbelt.

807

:

Always wear your seatbelt.

808

:

This was the night that we were

getting our tarot cards read.

809

:

Yeah.

810

:

And then I feel like something

else happened, but then when

811

:

we got into the parking garage

first, it took us like forever.

812

:

This girl, she lives in the domain

in like an apartment complex.

813

:

In the domain.

814

:

Yeah.

815

:

And it was so hard to find and then

to like get into the parking garage

816

:

and figure based off the direction

she gave us, which was so confusing

817

:

to like get up to the garage.

818

:

And then when we got out of the car.

819

:

I forget what I had.

820

:

I had

821

:

one, something did No, uh, keys.

822

:

No, we, no, I had one job, which just

to bring a bottle of wine and I brought

823

:

it, and then I asked Hannah to grab it

out of the car, and she grabbed it and

824

:

then just decided to hurl it a hole, hur

it across the parking lot, just threw it

825

:

and it shattered everywhere.

826

:

Oh.

827

:

Okay.

828

:

That's not what happened.

829

:

Okay.

830

:

I was trying, I had like my tote bag and

I wasn't looking, and I like was putting

831

:

it in my bag, but I missed the bag and so

it just fell on the floor and shattered

832

:

everywhere in the Sobey's parking garage.

833

:

But I could have sworn that we were

already frazzled about something.

834

:

I feel like we had lost something.

835

:

We, we couldn't figure out how

to get to the parking garage.

836

:

But those are probably our two crazy

stories that we can think at this moment.

837

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I love it.

838

:

I mean, at the root of your friendship.

839

:

We all can tell that

there is so much love.

840

:

Like you guys have so

much love for each other.

841

:

What is one quality?

842

:

I'm so dead.

843

:

I that you guys love each

other deep, deep down.

844

:

Okay.

845

:

That's why, that's why you guys

are so entertaining, because

846

:

there's so much love there.

847

:

And that's why you need to create a

reality show, please, and thank you.

848

:

Um, but anyway, what is the biggest

lesson you have learned from each other

849

:

on this journey of fashionably single?

850

:

Fashionably Single: Ooh.

851

:

You wanna go first?

852

:

I think this whole podcast thing has

definitely been a learning experience.

853

:

Like it's given me a

project and I like that.

854

:

Um, is that what you've learned from me?

855

:

I'm, first of all, I wasn't done.

856

:

Oh, sorry.

857

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Oh, I love the love.

858

:

I love it.

859

:

Oh.

860

:

Fashionably Single:

Jessica's taught me patience.

861

:

Oh

862

:

yeah, that's true.

863

:

It's no actually.

864

:

Yeah.

865

:

You have, and your children,

you've taught me, you,

866

:

um.

867

:

Taught me a lot.

868

:

I think you've taught me that.

869

:

I don't know if I want to be a mother.

870

:

Oh my gosh.

871

:

I have two kids and it's just a lot.

872

:

And she's learning that.

873

:

It's a lot.

874

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Yeah.

875

:

But this is good.

876

:

This is good that you're

teaching me these things.

877

:

Fashionably Single: Oh, okay.

878

:

I was like, positive things you, what

positive things have I taught you?

879

:

Amanda Paolicelli: No, it's good because.

880

:

This is something that everybody should

think about before they have children.

881

:

Mm-hmm.

882

:

Like, can you handle, that's fair.

883

:

You know?

884

:

Yeah.

885

:

That is fair.

886

:

Great point.

887

:

Yes.

888

:

You were putting a lot into

perspective for me in a good way.

889

:

Mm-hmm.

890

:

I like to be, you know, I'm

getting all of the sides.

891

:

Fashionably Single: Yeah, that is true.

892

:

Um,

893

:

Amanda Paolicelli: yeah, you,

you've, you told me a lot.

894

:

Mm-hmm.

895

:

What

896

:

Fashionably Single: else?

897

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Just because

like, please listen to the,

898

:

Fashionably Single: I would like to know,

899

:

um, you can do, see if

you can do one more,

900

:

Amanda Paolicelli: just like I don't A

lot of Nice, well, because I know you're

901

:

gonna wanna play this like before you

go to bed or early in the morning as

902

:

your affirmations are gonna be like,

I'm going to dare to be iconic and I'm.

903

:

Going to fast forward to this part

where Hannah says all the good things

904

:

about me, and it's on the video and it's

recorded and it will not go anywhere.

905

:

I know you.

906

:

I know you Jessica.

907

:

I know you.

908

:

Fashionably Single: Yeah.

909

:

We were literally, when we were working

on your questions last night, and I was

910

:

looking at one of her answers, she said

something nice about me and I was like,

911

:

that's what I want on my tombstone.

912

:

Amanda Paolicelli: I, um,

but no, I think you have, you

913

:

definitely have taught me a lot.

914

:

I think you've brought me out of my shell.

915

:

I mean, I would've never

done this on my own, so.

916

:

Yeah.

917

:

You.

918

:

That's true.

919

:

Kind of show me another

side of myself, you know?

920

:

Fashionably Single: Okay.

921

:

Okay.

922

:

Okay.

923

:

Hannah's definitely taught

me so much, just like,

924

:

like I'm not even being

925

:

like's white meat and dark meat.

926

:

Oh my God.

927

:

Amanda Paolicelli: When that, when I

heard that I was lifting weights, okay.

928

:

I had to stop my weights.

929

:

I was like, Jessica did not.

930

:

Fashionably Single: I did and it,

931

:

Amanda Paolicelli: but I

was like, you know what?

932

:

That's so iconic of you, girl, that's

933

:

Fashionably Single: so iconic of you.

934

:

The moments that I was like,

man, that one, that one.

935

:

But, um, no, realistically Hannah

has taught me a lot of things that I

936

:

think, things along those lines, but

just like day-to-day life things that

937

:

I just don't really, I just feel like

you're so in tuned with like culture.

938

:

Does that make sense?

939

:

And so like the other day we were

talking about wine glasses and you

940

:

were educating me all about like why

it's good to have thin glass wines.

941

:

And I was like, I don't

know that, that's cool.

942

:

But then you've also taught me a lot

about like, it's okay to be like in

943

:

your soft girl era because I think for

so long, being a single mom and being

944

:

in the relationship that I was in,

constantly having to grind and just be

945

:

basically a girl boss, that I have never

ever stepped into the soft girl era

946

:

because I've always just been Go, go, go.

947

:

Yeah.

948

:

And hustle, hustle, hustle.

949

:

She's made me be in the moments more,

and so I, I think that that's something

950

:

that's I've tried to really hold

onto even when we're not together.

951

:

Aw, see,

952

:

you bring, you bring me

into my like, girl boss.

953

:

See?

954

:

Okay.

955

:

So that's okay.

956

:

Yeah.

957

:

Yeah.

958

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Oh my gosh,

Jessica and Hannah, I can't believe

959

:

our time together is almost done.

960

:

Like you guys need to come

back to spill the tea with me.

961

:

But I have two more

questions for you guys.

962

:

So, if your 20-year-old self saw you

today, what would she be most proud of?

963

:

Fashionably Single: I think she would

be most proud of the fact that I had the

964

:

guts to leave the past situation that

I was in, which completely turned my

965

:

life upside down and moved me miles and

miles away to Texas from South Carolina.

966

:

And I just think that she'd be

proud that I am happy and I have.

967

:

F filled my life with friends and

laughter and good food, and just

968

:

doing what I enjoy every day.

969

:

So I think she would just

be proud that I am happy.

970

:

I think if 20-year-old me saw me

today, she would be the most proud

971

:

of my resilience, of not giving up,

not quitting and continuing to push

972

:

forward for the life that I want.

973

:

Amanda Paolicelli: So, as you guys

mentioned, your resiliency and that

974

:

trajectory point of, you know, that

breakup really changing your life and the

975

:

path that your life went down eventually.

976

:

That kind of leads me to season

two of Fashionably Single, which

977

:

is already out now radiant icons.

978

:

So again, you want to listen, but if

you haven't, Jessica and Hannah, in

979

:

your own words, spill the tea of what

to expect for season two, please.

980

:

Fashionably Single: So if you

have not listened to season one.

981

:

In Season one, we really were navigating

dating, and then towards the end of season

982

:

one, we kind of took a hiatus from dating.

983

:

So in season two, we have changed

the course a little bit because we

984

:

fell in love with just being single.

985

:

And so you are going to hear a lot more

of just us enjoying life and friendships

986

:

and what we're doing the day to day.

987

:

We do focus a lot on fashion in

season two, Hannah's the guru, so

988

:

you're definitely gonna wanna tune in.

989

:

I'm learning so much.

990

:

So yeah, you should definitely listen

to season two of Fashionably Single.

991

:

Our episodes drop every Wednesday and it's

perfect because so does dare to be iconic.

992

:

So listeners, you guys can just

do, you can set aside some time

993

:

and do Fashionly Single Dare to

Be Iconic or Dare to Be Iconic.

994

:

Fashionly Single.

995

:

Amanda Paolicelli: Your Wednesdays

just got more iconic radiant icons.

996

:

What can I tell you?

997

:

Okay.

998

:

Okay.

999

:

That's how we do it here at Dare To

Be Iconic and Fashionably Single.

:

00:40:49,975 --> 00:40:51,625

single point blank m period.

:

00:40:52,195 --> 00:40:54,835

Hannah, Jessica, thank you guys so

much for spilling the tea with me.

:

00:40:54,835 --> 00:40:58,015

I know the radiant icons

are going to love it.

:

00:40:58,135 --> 00:40:59,515

I mean, who wouldn't?

:

00:41:00,475 --> 00:41:03,265

Fashionably Single: Welcome to the

Fashionably Single Podcast, where single

:

00:41:03,265 --> 00:41:05,695

life meets real talk, hosted by Hannah.

:

00:41:05,755 --> 00:41:09,055

This guy is sitting next to me and

this was like a no shoe kind of house,

:

00:41:09,055 --> 00:41:10,405

so he had to take his shoes off.

:

00:41:10,465 --> 00:41:14,965

They were playing cards, drinking, and

then all of a sudden he starts rubbing his

:

00:41:14,965 --> 00:41:17,725

foot on my leg and her co-host Jessica.

:

00:41:17,755 --> 00:41:21,025

So he leaves me at the table, he gets

his food, he goes back to his car.

:

00:41:21,055 --> 00:41:23,005

I'm thinking he's

dipping out on this date.

:

00:41:23,005 --> 00:41:26,575

I just told him I don't want to marry

him and I won't let him kill me.

:

00:41:26,575 --> 00:41:29,425

So two millennials in

Austin, Texas, navigating.

:

00:41:30,025 --> 00:41:33,715

Independence and becoming your best

self with confidence and style.

:

00:41:35,117 --> 00:41:36,737

Amanda Paolicelli: All

right, radiant icons.

:

00:41:36,737 --> 00:41:38,567

That is your tea time session for today.

:

00:41:38,597 --> 00:41:43,457

If you enjoy today's episode, make

sure to subscribe to leave a rating or

:

00:41:43,457 --> 00:41:45,227

review to tell your friends about us.

:

00:41:45,407 --> 00:41:49,987

To tell everyone and anyone, because

you know we love lot more radiant

:

00:41:50,117 --> 00:41:52,547

icons in our iconic community of ours.

:

00:41:52,667 --> 00:41:53,117

radiant icons.

:

00:41:53,117 --> 00:41:56,237

I will never get tired of saying

that, but you also know what

:

00:41:56,237 --> 00:41:57,977

I will never get tired of.

:

00:41:58,112 --> 00:42:00,152

Spilling the tea with you guys.

:

00:42:00,362 --> 00:42:05,402

I cannot believe that literally in a

couple weeks on March 27th, it will

:

00:42:05,402 --> 00:42:12,842

officially be two years since the premier

episodes of the Dare to Be Iconic Podcast.

:

00:42:12,992 --> 00:42:17,342

So next week we are rewinding

it all the way back.

:

00:42:17,342 --> 00:42:21,842

We are looking back at some of our

most iconic moments with some of the

:

00:42:21,842 --> 00:42:26,792

most iconic women who have spilled

the tea right here on this podcast.

:

00:42:26,802 --> 00:42:31,662

I am so excited for next week and what

March has in store because March is

:

00:42:31,722 --> 00:42:37,632

all about celebration and community

because I would not be able to do

:

00:42:37,632 --> 00:42:42,027

what I do with Dare to Be Iconic, had

the most iconic women on this podcast

:

00:42:42,027 --> 00:42:47,382

sharing their stories if it wasn't for

you, my lovely iconic radiant icons,

:

00:42:47,432 --> 00:42:53,462

who tune in every single week, who

honestly support me through everything,

:

00:42:53,522 --> 00:42:58,022

who are literally like the best, most

amazing, iconic people I've ever had

:

00:42:58,022 --> 00:42:59,252

the pleasure of knowing in my life.

:

00:42:59,432 --> 00:43:02,642

I cannot do what I do without you guys.

:

00:43:02,762 --> 00:43:07,742

So thank you so much and I have a very

special surprise that will be premiering

:

00:43:07,952 --> 00:43:12,772

on my Instagram on how you can have

your voice heard on the Dare to Be

:

00:43:12,772 --> 00:43:18,532

Iconic podcast, especially for this very

exciting and emotional month of March.

:

00:43:19,447 --> 00:43:20,737

With so much gratitude.

:

00:43:20,737 --> 00:43:23,407

I love you guys so damn much.

:

00:43:23,437 --> 00:43:24,907

Thank you for changing my life.

:

00:43:24,997 --> 00:43:28,267

I can't wait to talk with y'all next

week as we look back at some of the most

:

00:43:28,477 --> 00:43:33,337

iconic moments of the podcast and well,

I'll just chat with you then, right?

:

00:43:34,117 --> 00:43:37,897

Alright, radiant icons,

remember, dare to be iconic.

:

00:43:38,107 --> 00:43:38,557

Bye.
