Airing Date: November 12
Series Theme: Visibility + Strategy
Primary CTA: Light teaser for Vision Day (1-liner near the end or in the outro)
Hey friend. Pull up a chair — I want to have a heart-to-heart today. Today I want to have a little chat about visibility. And if we are being really honest, what’s holding most of us back from being visible (self included) isn’t strategy (although that is super important and we will be diving into that next week)... really - it’s what’s happening on the inside. In our heads and in our hearts.
Are you ready? Let’s dive in…
INTRO
I’ve had so many conversations with women just like you who know what to say, they know what to offer... but something just keeps them from hitting “post” or sending that email or pressing record.
And I get it. I’ve been there. I’ve ghosted my own feed. I’ve second-guessed content I knew God gave me. I’ve launched things halfway because I didn’t want to look like I was “trying too hard.” Or pressuring people.
So let’s talk about it — this whole visibility mindset thing. I don’t want to talk about it from a hype perspective, but from a faith-rooted, real-life coaching angle. Is that ok?
Let’s Talk About What’s Really Going On
Have you ever said something like, “I just don’t want it to be about me,” or “I don’t want to come off as self-promotional”? Same.
But here’s what I’ve learned: there’s a difference between humility and hiding. One honors God. The other often masks fear.
And the fear? It can be sneaky. Sometimes it shows up as perfectionism. Sometimes it’s the fear of being misunderstood. Or judged. Or failing publicly. It’s the dreaded imposter syndrome that is SO REAL. Or sometimes, it’s even the fear of succeeding — and then having to maintain that.
But visibility isn’t about being flashy. It’s just about being faithful to what God called you to. And a lot of what we think is a “strategy issue” is actually just a spiritual battle in disguise. I might even go as far as to say it can be spiritual warfare.
The enemy doesn’t have to destroy your calling — he just has to convince you not to show up for it.
So if you're feeling stuck here, It’s ok. You’re not alone. But you do need to pay attention to what's driving that hesitation.
Where Are You Getting Your Identity?
Think about this… When did you first start believing your voice didn’t matter? Or questioning if you are really supposed to be doing this “thing” (whatever your thing is)
Maybe it was a comment someone made years ago. Maybe it’s comparison fatigue. Maybe it’s the pressure to be someone else online that is just wearing you out.
But here’s what I want you to hear: You were not the wrong choice for this assignment.
God chose you — your voice, your story, your perspective — on purpose for a plan. His plan! Not in spite of your quirks, but because of them.
So when imposter syndrome creeps in, I want you to stop and ask, “Who told me that?” Who told you you’re not enough? Who told you you’re too much?
That voice isn’t God’s.
Let’s Anchor Into What’s True
When visibility feels shaky, I want you to come back to truth. Actual biblical truth. God created me perfectly to fulfill a plan and a purpose He has for my life. Different plans in different seasons. But we are all created with those plans and purposes embedded in us. Hard-coded, if you will.
When we lean into the Lord to help lead and guide us, you can bet he will be faithful to show up and do just that!
Here are a few things I speak over myself regularly:
• “It’s about service, not performance.”
• “God has already gone ahead of me in this.”
• “Obedience is my measure of success today.”
• “If God gave me this message, someone needs to hear it.”
Some days, I have to repeat those more than once. And that’s okay.
When fear creeps in — and it will — I want you to pause and ask yourself: What am I really afraid of? And is that fear based on truth, an old story I’ve outgrown or a flat-out lie from the enemy?
You don’t have to be fearless. But you do have to show up even when your voice shakes.
Before You Go
If you’re still listening, I want to really hear this…I believe God put something in you that matters, and I believe the world needs to see it.
So this week, today even, I want you to ask yourself: What does obedience look like for me right now?
Is it sharing the thing you’ve been sitting on?
Is it finally recording that video?
Is it simply telling your story without editing it down?
Whatever it is — take one step. Just one.
Keep walking, friend. You’re not alone.
I’ll talk to you next week.
