What does it really mean to love as Yeshua loved?
In Chapter 14 of I Am a Witness – The Search Is Over, “Love That Risks Everything,” we move from experiencing the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit to something even deeper: a life that demonstrates the Father's love.
Yeshua said:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.” John 15:13
Yeshua didn't simply teach sacrificial love - He demonstrated it. The world often measures love by feelings, emotions, and words, but Scripture reveals a love that acts, gives, serves, forgives, and is willing to sacrifice.
Following Yeshua was never a promise that life would become easier. The born-again life is more than believing the right truths; it is becoming people who love as He loved—and that kind of love will always cost us something.
After more than forty years of walking with Yeshua, I have learned that the supernatural life isn't ultimately measured by the miracles we witness, but by the love we are willing to demonstrate. Walking with the Holy Spirit leads us toward the broken, toward forgiveness, toward service, and sometimes toward costly acts of obedience.
Love serves.
Love forgives.
Love reaches the broken.
Love gives without counting the cost.
Perhaps the question isn't simply, “Do I love Yeshua?”
Perhaps it is: “Am I willing to love others the way Yeshua has loved me?”
Because a transformed life doesn't simply talk about the love of God.
It becomes a witness to it.
