This episode is all about a specific type of ABA, called discrete trial training or DTT. This an extremely effective ABA method that has a consistent and methodical approach that helps children feel comfortable knowing what to expect is coming. It can be used to teach almost any skill, and the basic principles are fairly simple. In the episode we talk about what a dial its, the 3 parts of a trial, tips for success, as well as progressing from teach the skill using DTT, to transfer trials and into generalization.
