Love At Work: Stolen - by Ken Wetmore
The eighth commandment teaches us to love others by not taking away or withholding things that would benefit them. Stealing goes beyond the law of our country and challenges us to live to the highest ideals. We can steal others' time, reputation, dignity, stuff, etc. Jesus challenges us to move from taking away toward giving love.
This week our #WholeLifeReflections asked:
- Can you think of any ways you may be stealing in your every day life by either taking away or withholding?
- What are you most tempted to steal?
- How can you reverse what you are most tempted to steal? In other words how can you practice giving in that area of your life?
Which ‘Reflection’ resonated with you most and what would you say in answer? Let us know by reaching out with any of the links below!
