Summary:

As God's people we must know that He who has started a good work in us will finish that work. There must be within us a trust and faith in Him and yet a deep hunger within that creates a cry that drives us on to know Him. In all this we must know His deep love for us as His creation in this earth.

Show Notes:

  • We must stand before the Lord in faith knowing that He is doing the work within us and completing what He has started.

  • Many people have turned their hearts away from God.

  • Our hope in in Him and what He has done in our lives.

  • We reach in to Him, being dissatisfied of how much we don't have of Him, and at the same time perfectly satisfied with all that He has done within us.

  • We must know how much we are loved by God. If this is in us, we will carry His love within us for all mankind.

Quotes:

  • Open your heart and just stand still in His presence and allow Him to complete what He started.

  • ...we're standing before the Lord in a level of faith we've never been to before.

  • Many have left. Many have turned their backs on God. We refuse to be affected by the things that are coming upon the earth.

  • The only hope we have is the hope that we have based upon how He has It met us, created us.

  • Lord, I love You, and I love what You're doing in my life, but I want more. I want to reach into another level of knowing You. I'm dissatisfied with the level I'm on in one sense and yet I'm perfectly satisfied with You and where I'm at.”
  • God's, He's always calling, come up here, come up higher. Hunger after Him.
  • This must be so real in me, He loves me so much.
  • It is about my love affair with the Lord and your love affair with the Lord and us living in this day by day.
  • God is ordering our steps and it's all a preparation to answer your cry for Him.

Transcripts

Ken:

Open your heart and just stand still in His presence and allow Him to complete what He started. He's the one dong the work, just stand still and be objective and you're reaching into Him. Let him do the work. We're His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good work.

I think there's something in our hearts is just crying out to the Lord right now. Don't get stuck with issues or sideline things. Be committed to standing before the Lord and expecting Him to bring forth the things that we're looking for. We can't depend on our efforts. Our efforts are nothing compared to what He's doing.

Because we're standing before the Lord in a level of faith we've never been to before. This word of faith that Jude was talking about, I think, is what we're experiencing, to be really honest with you. The love of many is wax cold. Many have left. Many have turned their backs on God. We refuse to be affected by the things that are coming upon the earth.

Because God is speaking to our hearts and saying, I will complete the work. You just stand with the oil in your lap and allow Me to do the work. I don't see what those virgins did anything else. And what's the oil representative of the anointing, His spirit, His moving in our lives. It's not about what we do, it's about what He has accomplished and what He will complete. This is a time when we let the weight down on the Lord and trust with all of our hearts. All we can do is position ourselves in His presence. This is the positioning of the saints as the bride of Christ, looking for the bridegroom to open the door until there is that marriage ceremony that we've been looking for and believing for.

Dale:

The only hope we have is the hope that we have based upon how He has It met us, created us. So we take those experiences of His faithfulness to us and we say, make it grow some more Lord. We believe in You and that's what Ken's saying. We're putting our trust in Him. Lord thank You. I rest in You.

Ken:

We just stand before the Lord together and trust Him, and love Him, and look for His coming in us. Isn't that what He says? “It's not by might. It's not by power, but by His spirit, saith the Lord.” The simplicity of standing before Him and never being satisfied with where we're at. It's saying, “Lord, I love You, and I love what You're doing in my life, but I want more. I want to reach into another level of knowing You.

I'm dissatisfied with the level I'm on in one sense and yet I'm perfectly satisfied with You and where I'm at.” And that's a complete contradiction, and yet it's a truth that I believe God is trying to speak to our hearts today.

Roger:

You want to move into something greater in God, the only way is that hunger, that thirsting to know Him, to really see Him, to know Him.

If that's not in our heart, the hunger on that level, that's okay. Because God's love is on every realm. That's why the emphasis upon walking together, upon loving one another, and blessing people. God's, He's always calling, come up here, come up higher. Hunger after Him. This is a time of He's including us all. And yet, our hunger, just to know Him, lifts us higher and higher in Him. Lord, we want to know You.

Ken:

There are different realms. There are different places. There are different people that are worshiping God, and God loves each one of us everywhere, wherever we're at, and in whatever venue. God loves His creation.

Love your brother. Encourage your brother, lift your brother up. And in fact, isn't that what Ephesians 4 talks about? We're to love each other and bring each other forth.

Janet:

This must be so real in me, He loves me so much. And if this becomes my reality, then it changes my feelings for other people in the world.

If I can't know He's crazy in love even with all my mistakes, He loves me and He'll never forsake me. If I live in that reality, then any paths I cross during the day or through my life, not but help or come through that God loves this one too. God loved the world. He loved His creation. It is about my love affair with the Lord and your love affair with the Lord and us living in this day by day.

Dale:

We've got to remember that we build our relationship to God on our experiences with Him. And that is the answer to the cry of hunger and thirst after righteousness . He has answered our thirst many, many times . As He builds upon that thirst that desire, He answers us. God is ordering our steps and it's all a preparation to answer your cry for Him.
