I want to leave you with a really, really important message in this final episode.

Kronda Adair:

We're going to talk about.

Kronda Adair:

Stop cleaning before the cleaner comes.

Kronda Adair:

And now in case you don't know what I'm talking about.

Kronda Adair:

So we, we have someone who comes in and helps us clean, twice a

Kronda Adair:

month, we've had this help going for probably at least 10 years.

Kronda Adair:

It's, it's lifesaving, it's marriage saving.

Kronda Adair:

It's all the things.

Kronda Adair:

Right.

Kronda Adair:

But there's This little urge that some people get when they have cleaners

Kronda Adair:

who come and help them to like go around and like clean everything

Kronda Adair:

so that the cleaner doesn't find out how messy the house is hate.

Kronda Adair:

And you know, there's other versions of this, like, uh, one,

Kronda Adair:

that's probably more practicals.

Kronda Adair:

Right?

Kronda Adair:

You brush your teeth before you go to the dentist.

Kronda Adair:

Right.

Kronda Adair:

You don't want to show up all funky.

Kronda Adair:

That one.

Kronda Adair:

That one makes sense.

Kronda Adair:

I do that, but yeah.

Kronda Adair:

In this instance, if you've been listening to these episodes, if you've

gone through this whole season, if you've been nodding your head along

and you've been thinking, oh, yep.

Oh yeah, that's me.

Oh yep.

I have that issue.

If you're like, Ooh, how does she know about that?

Kronda Adair:

Right.

Kronda Adair:

If that's you right now than it is time for you to take some action and head over

Uh, fricking call, right?

Kronda Adair:

Because how long are you going to go on with these problems before

Kronda Adair:

you take action to fix them?

Kronda Adair:

And I'm not promising, like, we might not be the ones, right.

Kronda Adair:

But we might, and we don't know that until we have a

Kronda Adair:

conversation and start the process.

Kronda Adair:

And so what I'm encouraging you to do is to just take that first step

Kronda Adair:

and the things that over the years, I've talked to people about this, and

Kronda Adair:

here's some of the things that keep people from taking that first step.

Kronda Adair:

One is I've given you a lot of information, right?

Kronda Adair:

I've told you about a lot of really common problems that business

Kronda Adair:

owners have at a certain stage and how we help fix those problems.

Kronda Adair:

And the danger is I'm, I'm thinking about ghost right now.

Kronda Adair:

I'm like Molly, you and danger girl.

Kronda Adair:

Right?

Kronda Adair:

The danger of having that information is that some of you might feel

Kronda Adair:

like, oh, okay, well I know what the problem is now, so I can fix it.

Kronda Adair:

No, no.

Kronda Adair:

Cause if you could have fixed it, you would've already, right.

Kronda Adair:

And maybe you're capable of learning how to fix it, but that's

Kronda Adair:

not why you went into business.

Kronda Adair:

Right.

Kronda Adair:

It's why I went into business.

Kronda Adair:

Stop trying to do it all yourself because you're hurting yourself.

Kronda Adair:

You're hurting your business by doing that.

Kronda Adair:

And if you could take this information and just fix the problem,

Kronda Adair:

you would have done it, right.

Kronda Adair:

Either you don't have the expertise or you don't have the time.

Kronda Adair:

Right.

Kronda Adair:

And what I want for you is I want you to thrive and people who have this

Kronda Adair:

sort of superhero, DIY mentality in their business, do not end up thriving.

Kronda Adair:

They end up tired and.

Kronda Adair:

And I do not want that for you.

Kronda Adair:

Okay.

Kronda Adair:

So in order for you to thrive, you're going to have to build a team of people,

Kronda Adair:

maybe not people that you hire on your team, but you, you are going to need

Kronda Adair:

a squad of people who have your back because you're not good at everything.

Kronda Adair:

And in this lane, right in marketing and sales and automation, that's my lane and

Kronda Adair:

that's where I can help you to thrive.

Kronda Adair:

So that starts with you coming in and taking the action

Kronda Adair:

and having the conversation.

Kronda Adair:

The other reason that I'm recording this episode is because people shoot themselves

Kronda Adair:

in the foot by waiting you get into this.

Kronda Adair:

I'll think about it.

Kronda Adair:

I'll do that later.

Kronda Adair:

I'm not sure if I need that right now, mode.

Kronda Adair:

And.

Kronda Adair:

You actually delay your results and you make it harder for us to do our job.

Kronda Adair:

Like when you come in, if you've like, oh, I'll just, you know, we'll

Kronda Adair:

just hire that VA to do this, or I'll just get that developer on Upwork

Kronda Adair:

to do this, or I'll just DIY this.

Kronda Adair:

And then when you finally get over yourself and you finally booked

Kronda Adair:

the call and we really start going through your stuff, If you've been

Kronda Adair:

in there mucking around, then it actually makes the process harder.

Kronda Adair:

Right?

Kronda Adair:

If you find out that you need surgery, you don't start by cutting yourself open.

Kronda Adair:

You're like, Hey doc gave me a headstart, right?

Kronda Adair:

No, you go in and you get diagnosed and you figure out what the solution

Kronda Adair:

is going to be to get healed.

Kronda Adair:

And then you let that expert do their job.

Kronda Adair:

Okay.

Kronda Adair:

So.

Kronda Adair:

Every time you put it off every time you go in there and you muck around and you

Kronda Adair:

think, oh, I can just, I can fix this.

Kronda Adair:

I can do it.

Kronda Adair:

You're actually just hurting yourself.

Kronda Adair:

And you know, you're a sophisticated business owner.

Kronda Adair:

You understand that time is money and that your time is actually.

Kronda Adair:

Doing what is in your zone of genius and selling your stuff, right?

Kronda Adair:

That's, that's what you should be spending your time on.

Kronda Adair:

And when you work with us, when you come and get a marketing intensive,

Kronda Adair:

we're going to lay it all out and we're going to be like, great.

Kronda Adair:

Here's the process that's working for you.

Kronda Adair:

And here's why.

Kronda Adair:

Amplify that process without you having to put in a commensurate

Kronda Adair:

amount of effort, right?

Kronda Adair:

Because that's, that's really what scaling is.

Kronda Adair:

That is you get more output without having to put in the same amount of input.

Kronda Adair:

Because at a certain point, I talked to business owners all the time and they're

Kronda Adair:

like, Hmm, they kind of want to grow, but they kind of don't they stopped selling.

Kronda Adair:

And it's because they're not happy with their offer.

Kronda Adair:

They need to tweak their offer or it's because they've had to work

Kronda Adair:

so hard to get where they are.

Kronda Adair:

That the thought of working even harder to get to the next level.

Kronda Adair:

They can't even stomach it.

Kronda Adair:

Okay.

Kronda Adair:

And that's actually not what is required of you to get to the next

Kronda Adair:

level what's required is For you to start getting strategic, right.

Kronda Adair:

Start getting strategic and start hiring technology to help you execute these

Kronda Adair:

things that you've been doing manually so that you can have that scale, so that

Kronda Adair:

you can have that growth that you want.

Kronda Adair:

And, you know, let me, let me park for a second and talk

Kronda Adair:

about the word scale, because.

Kronda Adair:

We talk about that a lot in business.

Kronda Adair:

And I'm starting to see some people in my communities who are like, well,

Kronda Adair:

I don't want to have like a million dollar or multi-million dollar business.

Kronda Adair:

Like.

Kronda Adair:

Don't just decide, that's your goal because all these gurus

Kronda Adair:

are out here saying that's the only way to run a business.

Kronda Adair:

So I started thinking about that and I started thinking about,

Kronda Adair:

well, what does scale mean?

Kronda Adair:

You know, if that's not your goal, right?

Kronda Adair:

Maybe you want to scale the time you have available to lay in a

Kronda Adair:

hammock and read in the summer.

Kronda Adair:

We could do that.

Kronda Adair:

there's lots of ways to be able to scale.

Kronda Adair:

And there's lots of things that you can scale in your life that don't have to do

Kronda Adair:

with just bigger, bigger, bigger, better, at all costs, it might be, you want to

Kronda Adair:

scale, you know, the number of massages you have each month because you don't

Kronda Adair:

have to be in your business every second.

Kronda Adair:

So I want you to think about that and think about what does scale mean for you?

Kronda Adair:

You know, what is the.

Kronda Adair:

Business that's gonna support your life.

Kronda Adair:

Right.

Kronda Adair:

So that's why I hope that if you've been listening to this whole season,

Do I want to keep.

Right.

Kronda Adair:

And I know like for a lot of us, especially for black women, like it's hard

Kronda Adair:

to trust other people with your business or with parts of your business, especially

Kronda Adair:

if you've been burned in the past.

Kronda Adair:

Like I get it.

Kronda Adair:

I have had those experiences.

Kronda Adair:

I have paid those, you know, fancy coaches and not gotten the results that I want.

Kronda Adair:

Like, we've all done that, but the thing is every experience you win or.

Kronda Adair:

Right.

Kronda Adair:

Um, and you're going to have to trust people.

Kronda Adair:

If you want to be able to build a business, that's not just

Kronda Adair:

you hustling all the time.

Kronda Adair:

Right?

Kronda Adair:

And I love that saying, if you want to go fast, go alone.

Kronda Adair:

If you want to go far, go together.

Kronda Adair:

And so if you have a conversation and we both decided it's a great

Kronda Adair:

idea to partner, to get you where you want to go in your business.

Kronda Adair:

You know, we're not even going to embark on that journey unless

Kronda Adair:

we're both really excited about it.

Kronda Adair:

I always use the hell.

Kronda Adair:

Yes or no.

Kronda Adair:

Hey, so if it's not a hell yes, for both of us, then we're not even gonna do it.

Kronda Adair:

But if it is, then we're going to do some amazing things together and we're going

Kronda Adair:

to have a damn good time while we do it.

Kronda Adair:

All right.

Kronda Adair:

So don't try to clean before the cleaner comes.

Kronda Adair:
