Main topic:
In RPF they were talking about shortages, regulations, and how those things have set off a chain reaction that could lead to famine of Biblical proportions. They even talk of upwards of 1.2B people potentially dying because of it. If that doesn’t strike fear into you then nothing will.
But as always, we here at TCLP remain solutions focused: grow your own food, start your own business (or at least a side hustle) and create as much of a cushion as possible between yourself and disaster. Measure your wealth in the amount of time you could survive if everything stopped TODAY. Sobering.
Best type of business to start today, I believe, is in trades, or service work.
There’s certain things that WON’T go away in our lifetime no matter how much automation comes in. Trades, right now, are one of those things, at least on the residential side.
