Mental health in the black community is a topic that has been taboo for many years, but with this generation, is headed toward a more widespread discussion. In this episode we spoke with Ashley Nash, PhD student, mental health counselor and author of 2 novels. At the ripe age of 27, Nash has completed an amazing about of work in the mental health sector, unpacking trauma in her own life and using the same strategies to help others.
