Shownotes
This week I am joined by Michael Unbroken, a childhood trauma survivor, warrior and mentor. At the age of 4, his index finger was cut off by his mother, an alcoholic and drug addict. Unfortunately, his stepfather was also a drug addict, in addition to being extremely abusive. As a result, Michael spent the majority of his childhood homeless or in poverty. This played out in his teenage years in him selling drugs, breaking into houses, stealing cars and hurting people.
As Michael traversed his early adult years, he found himself drinking excessively, smoking heavily and overweight at 350 pounds. Although this wasn't the place Michael wanted to be, it was here that he took a stand and began to address the trauma, transform his mind and ultimately his life. Michael has been relentless in his pursuit to learn all he can about healing and growing himself to then share his new knowledge with others. Michael has a massive heart in helping fellow trauma survivors heal from the painful chains that hold them captive to their past.
