Our guest for this week is both a rockstar & an OG reptile keeper, he has been keeping and breeding reptiles for over 30 years and is responsible for bringing a bunch of different species into Canada, breeding them and spreading the reptile hobby for everyone to enjoy.

Our guest is Darren Boyd of the Reptile Rainforest, Join me as I hear some crazy stories from the past about being one of the only people in the area with a reptile room and about his time working at zoos in Florida.

We then also discuss the changes in the hobby over time and what some of Darrens concerns are with the hobby moving forward.

We also talk about what Darren is currently doing with his collection both breeding wise and what species he’s working with and we talk about education shows and why they are also an important part of the reptile hobby!
