ITV news stated on 16th Feb 2022, an advert for fashion retailer Boohoo had been banned for being likely to cause 'serious or widespread offence or harm by objectifying women'. -(A T-shirt with image of a woman with only thong-style bikini bottoms & trainers, with legs spread apart thus sexualising her.)Complainers told ASA (Advertising Standard Agency) this ad was highly sexualised, objectifying women, offensive, harmful and irresponsible. The advert was later removed.
