Rapp Report Daily 459 What is General Revelation? What is general revelation? General revelation is the revelation of God, of himself in nature, that natural revelation as we look to nature, this is the revelation of God that is clear to all of mankind, whether those who believe or those who do not, this is the revelation that God reveals. Something of his attributes, but not everything, but some things so that we can understand him. This is what we see in Romans chapter one. For his invisible attributes, namely his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly perceived ever since the creation of the world in the things that were made. That is Romans 1 20. You see psalm 19 very clearly says, the heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. You can continue to read that, but what you see is that God uses nature to reveal himself. Not completely, but enough that people can know something of the attributes and nature of God. We can look at creation. and know he is a creator, a God of design. We can know God enough to see that He exists.
