Dr Marie Ekpema is the clinical director and pharmacy manager at Summerwood Pharmacy and Compounding in Houston Texas in the United States. Summerwood Pharmacy is an integrative pharmacy that focuses on the whole person’s well being rather than just filling a prescription for a particular disease. The pharmacy hosts many educational events during which patients and health care professionals have the opportunity to learn about natural alternatives and ask questions about how to safely combine them with prescription medications. Dr. Ekpema received her doctorate degree from Xavier University of Louisiana and has been a practicing pharmacist for about 15 years.
