We know the Golden Rule: treat others the way we want to be treated. But the truth is, we can’t live it out on our own. We fail because we’ve never fully grasped that Jesus lived it for us first.

The gospel reminds us that Christ considered our needs above His own. He left heaven, gave up His body, and shed His blood so we could have life. When we see what He’s done, it changes how we love, serve, and treat the people around us.

The Golden Rule isn’t just a good idea — it’s a response to the grace we’ve received in Jesus.
