Summary:

The provision of the Father that is already laid up for us is so vast. As we hear or read the promises and provisions of God, we immediately appropriate them and walk them out in our lives. The Holy Spirit is in agreement with the Lord; He is creating it in us. As we humble ourselves, we stay open, teachable and aware, the Holy Spirit can minister through us and to us. This is the difference between living on the soul level and living in the Spirit.

Show Notes:

  • As the Father rains down upon us the Holy Spirit, we are learning to think and do things differently than we ever have before.

  • As we realize the great provision of God that we have, we begin to pray and read the promises of God with faith and action.

  • Christ and the Father are waiting for us to simply appropriate the provisions and walk them out today.

  • It's what you are; you only become what you appropriate.

  • He just wants you to believe and appropriate.

  • We have left the age of soul and entered into an age of Spirit.

  • We are entering into a age of Spirit, where His presence is to be established in this earth.

Quotes:

  • We're learning how to do things different than we ever did before, because that's what He came to do. He came to create the Spirit realm for us to walk in.

  • When I read now, or I listen to a promise, I'm immediately appropriating that.

  • My humaneness says, Oh, but I I have to do something, I have to be something. No, you don't have to do anything or be anything. You just have to be who the Lord's created you to be.

  • The soul puts it off to the future. Someday, if I pray enough, if I wait on God enough, if I hold my mouth just right, I'm going to get more of Him. See all those statements are in the future.

  • He's sitting at the right hand of the Father going, come on, guys, I've already given you everything pertaining to life and godliness - move into it, become.
  • As we humble ourselves, He just pours Himself upon us. This is the age, this is the season, this is the time of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit; that exceedingly, abundantly beyond what we can ask or think.

Take Away:

As we enter this new age of Spirit, we are realizing the great provision of our Father that is just waiting for us to appropriate and walk in. As we humble ourselves before Him we find that He is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we can ask or think according to the power that works within us.

Dale

We're learning how to do things different than we ever did before, because that's what He came to do. He came to create the spirit realm for us to walk in. And He did it by the Holy Spirit. The Father rained down upon us, the Holy Spirit. And one of the things that is changing is how we pray, how we think. We are now filled with the Holy Spirit like never before. And what does the Holy Spirit do? It brings change, it changes us into His likeness.

Ron

Realizing the provision that is already lai9d up for us, that changes your whole attitude about prayer. Your whole attitude is not praying for something, or wishing for something or even the way you read the promises of God are different, because you don't read them in hope; you read them in faith. When I read now, or I listen to a promise, I'm immediately appropriating that.

Debbie

The Holy Spirit is so in agreement with what the Lord wants to do that He is creating it in us. As long as we humble ourselves before Him, and keep our spirits right, in the sense that we stay open; we stay teachable; we stay aware, the Holy Spirit can minister through us. My humaneness says, Oh, but I I have to do something, I have to be something. No, you don't have to do anything or be anything. You just have to be who the Lord's created you to be.

Ron

Lately, we've been hearing, it's not what you do; it's what you are. You only become what you appropriate. You don't do, if you just sit there and wait it's not going to happen. Some day, God's going to make me mature, someday God's going to make me have more love, someday, no someday never comes. He's already done it is provided. He's sitting at the right hand of the Father going, come on, guys, I've already given you everything pertaining to life and godliness - move into it, become.

Dale

What you're saying, Ron, is the difference between soul and Spirit. What we are experiencing now is the difference of functioning on the level of Spirit. What is the fruit of the Holy Spirit during this time of Pentecost? It's thrusting us into a level of Spirit, where we've never been before. The soul puts it off to the future. Someday, if I pray enough, if I wait on God enough, if I hold my mouth just right, I'm going to get more of Him. See all those statements that's in the future. When that's not what He's doing. He's, like you said, He wants you to just believe, and appropriate. What did Christ do? He humbled Himself, He took off His clothes and put on a towel, and He went and washed the feet of the disciples. And then after He did that, He said, "This is My body which has been broken for you. This is my blood that had been shed for you." He handed us the way into the Spirit. "Eat of my body"; that's appropriation. "Drink of my blood;" that's appropriation. As we humble ourselves, He just pours Himself upon us. This is the age, this is the season, this is the time of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit; that exceedingly, abundantly beyond what we can ask or think.

Debbie

We're entering into an age, an age of Spirit. Not just a day of Spirit, but an age of Spirit. An age where His presence is going to be established in this earth. The beginnings, we're at the beginnings of establishing that seventh day, that age of Spirit. Lord leads us; the Holy Spirit gives us what we need to move in and just speak. He gives us the words, He gives us ability to see, and to know - give yourself to Him. Just every day, you just simply open up and say, Lord, show me what to do. Holy Spirit, tell me enable me tell me what to do. Show me what to say.

Dale

That sure sounds like somebody who's walking in the Spirit. When we have totally turned it over to Him - we're letting Him have total command of us. It's His will and not my will that shall be done.
