It took me a while to realize how different self-dependence is for many people compared to me. Look at the word itself, "self-de-pend-ence." It defies you on your own, and from that word, you can learn that you can only allow yourself to succeed. Being of self means you are the key that opens the door. Focus on what you can do, and embrace your ideology and mindset because there is no other option to survive unless you wish to live off of others. I mean that positively; it allows you to feel proud of what you make and do and gives you the strength to choose yourself and your life the way you want.
