I was a late bloomer when it came to playing volleyball - I started in 8th grade and from there was hooked! I played all throughout high school and college and after my career was over, I struggled to find my path with fitness and nutrition. I knew the food I was eating probably wasn't the best for me but didn't know where to start. I spent about 2 years being extremely inactive after volleyball was over and knew I needed to make a change. I picked up a copy of "Practical Paleo" which got the wheels spinning - the food that I'm eating could. be making me sick? What?! Game changer. That started the journey for me and through a lot of trial and error, I've found a great relationship with food and fitness. I am currently training for an Ironman and still looking to optimize my health. as much as possible!
