Shownotes

On average one in eight people in the United States (or 30 million people) aged 12 years or older has hearing loss in both ears, based on standard hearing examinations. Approximately 15% of American adults (37.5 million) aged 18 and over report some trouble hearing.

Think about your average networking event or conference, how loud those spaces are, so many people talking all at the same time.

Think about how important networking is for our careers and try to understand how difficult it would be to navigate these types of events when you are deaf and hard of hearing.

Listen in as I talk with Dustin Feldman of 3 Play Media. Dustin was diagnosed with pronounced hearing loss when he was five years old. We discuss what his life has been like since then and how he is an advocate for the deaf and hard of hearing community.
