Shownotes

Dick Van Dyke’s secret to a long and fulfilling life boils down to three key principles: avoiding anger, steering clear of hate, and embracing romance. He shared in a recent interview that anger is something that really eats at a person from the inside out, so he’s made a conscious effort to keep it at bay. Hate, too, is something he doesn’t indulge in; while he may have his dislikes, he doesn’t let himself get consumed by it. The third element, romance, is something he treasures deeply, crediting his wife, Arlene, for keeping his spirits high and making him feel much younger than his years. So, as we dive into this discussion, let’s explore how these simple yet profound ideas can lead to a more vibrant life.
