I want to remind you what this podcast is actually about, why it exists, and share some news about

where things are headed. Because if you've ever felt this tension, you love Jesus, you want to grow

as a disciple, but you also feel the weight of leadership, leading in your home, your church,

on your campus, or at your job, and you're thinking, how do I do this faithfully? That tension

is exactly why Equipped for Purpose exists. My name is Vincent Ream. I'm a retired soldier,

20 years in the army. After that, I spent seven years working in a church. And right now I'm a

full-time college student working toward a degree in biblical and theological studies.

And in every one of those seasons, the military, the church, the classroom,

I kept seeing the same thing. People who had leadership ability but lacked the roots to

sustain it. Or people who had genuine faith but never learned how to translate it into influence.

And if there's one lesson I want to pass on from that journey, it's this. Leadership isn't just a

skill set. It's an overflow. If the roots aren't healthy, the fruit won't be either. We're not

chasing a platform or productivity. We're pursuing Jesus so that our character, our decisions, and

our relationships actually look like him. And that's the heartbeat of this podcast,
