Who is Annie Lei Dobbs?
Annie Lei Dobbs is a mental-health advocate, peer-support guide and holistic healing practitioner dedicated to helping women who feel lost, overwhelmed or misunderstood.
After years of being misdiagnosed, over-medicated and told her pain was simply “female angst,” Annie found herself trapped in her own body—sad, self-harming, disconnected and struggling to cope as a young mum. Doctors placed her on antidepressants, anti-anxiety medication, sleeping tablets and hormones, leaving her feeling like a zombie, unable to recognise herself or feel present with her children.
Everything changed when Annie chose a complete reset. She moved to a caravan in nature, stopped drinking, began the AA steps and experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Nature, the sea and the sky became her higher power. From there, she began a deep healing journey—Reiki, tuning forks, chakra balancing, aura work, crafts for mindful grounding—and slowly reclaimed her identity, purpose and joy.
Now diagnosed as ADHD and autistic, Annie uses her neurodivergent empathy and lived experience to support other women who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck in cycles of anxiety, panic, stress, trauma or confusion. She helps women explore holistic options, empowering them to make choices that restore balance, independence and self-belief.
Annie works with vulnerable women, neurodiverse women and anyone needing compassionate advocacy, emotional support and a safe space to breathe again.
She offers:
- Reiki (mobile + treatment room in Colchester)
- Sound healing
- Chakra and aura balancing
- Energy cleansing for homes
- Tailored consultations and coping-strategy support
- Guidance for women navigating mental-health challenges
Annie is creating her dream: a hippy-style crystal shop and healing space dedicated to women finding their truth.
