Speaker:

Speaker:

Praise God for you, Benjamin.

Speaker:

It's a great pleasure to connect with you.

Speaker:

What part of the world are you in today?

Speaker:

My current family is in Zambia, the central republic of Africa.

Speaker:

How did you come to meet Jesus?

Speaker:

Eventually, I came to meet Jesus through the same one that was once preached by my biological father.

Speaker:

Yeah, so I got convinced by the word of God that was first preached and by the scripture that so much inspired me in the book of Matthew chapter 6, verse 33.

Speaker:

Yeah, which says, seek first the kingdom of God and this righteousness and all things shall be added to you.

Speaker:

Yeah, so through the scripture that my biological father had to teach, I really got convinced.

Speaker:

I really got to desire to know more of God because eventually, in the past, I was someone that didn't know or didn't understand the purpose of knowing Jesus Christ.

Speaker:

I thought, like this life, there are many purposes of which it's just like chasing money, chasing after things, chasing after material things.

Speaker:

But by the way that was preached unto me, I really had to learn one or two things that really got to convince me to know Jesus.

Speaker:

So initially, I can say, I really had to know God through my biological father's teaching.

Speaker:

Yeah, that's a very good point.

Speaker:

How old were you then?

Speaker:

I was 17 years old.

Speaker:

17.

Speaker:

Okay, all right.

Speaker:

So what happened after?

Speaker:

What happened after is that after receiving the word from my biological father to preach, I really had to develop that desire of knowing and actually seeking God so much.

Speaker:

Yeah, I started so much reading the novels, trying to read the episodes of realities from other great men of God, trying by all means to connect to different channels on television.

Speaker:

Yeah, I had that passion so much to know and seek God, that passion and that desire, and that really helped me to know God on a personal level, not just other men of God, but also a desire to know God on my personal level, encountering him through dreams, visions, guiding me and whatever that I can imagine.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

What did your mother think about you becoming or developing a relationship with Jesus?

Speaker:

Yeah, eventually my mother was so much pleased about it, yeah, because I remember so much, she had so much fear of who I might become in life.

Speaker:

Yeah, but knowing I was someone that started following Jesus, knowing Jesus, it was so much a pleasure to him, it was so much an happiness to him, because we're in a generation that we see other people, other youths, having a certain character, certain behaviors, that's knowing Christ, and we see them having certain behaviors or lifestyle that are not presented before God.

Speaker:

So with my mother, it was so much a great, great, great, great news that she was really pleased about seeing a child that she had to bear becoming a person that desires God and know God truly with a great salvation.

Speaker:

What is Zambia like today, where you live, in terms of the people who are following Christ and the people who are going in an opposite direction?

Speaker:

Okay, so in Zambia, normally, yeah, with the people that are following Christ, I can really say it's a great pleasure, because here in Africa, I can say most youths, if you are not careful, or if you're not born again, that's the term that I can use, you discover that a lot of youths nowadays, they so much tend to go for drug abuse, alcoholism, womanizing, prostitution, and demonic operations.

Speaker:

So it's a hard ground for people that normally doesn't love to know God on a personal level.

Speaker:

But it's a great pleasure if you see somebody born again, repent, and get to know God, and they really get saved in a normal way.

Speaker:

But if the people that are into the opposite world, it's a very, very, very nice kind of lifestyle that you see people that are youths, from nowhere, someone, maybe you have seen some people about you are growing into them, but eventually, you see them learning, getting mad, and becoming people that are not present to say, no, this person is supposed to end up this and this and that.

Speaker:

But the people that really desire to know God, you see them, their character being built, their lifestyle being built.

Speaker:

And they live in a kind of life that is so much present in accordance of what God has predestined upon their lives to be.

Speaker:

What do you foresee in the future?

Speaker:

What do you see the future being like in Zambia?

Speaker:

The future being like in Zambia, I can say, by God's help, this country has so much potential for each to grow to revival.

Speaker:

Because comparing in the past years, and currently, at least I've seen a revival taking place, people getting saved, be it economically, I see potential that it has been refueled and taking shape into a country.

Speaker:

So Zambia in the future, yes, that is coming.

Speaker:

It's a great nation that I can say, in short, it's a nation that is blessed by minerals from God.

Speaker:

It's a country that is blessed by agriculture, but so much, we depend so much on the dependence of minerals.

Speaker:

So by God's grace, I see this country in the future being much, much, much blessed and getting to that potential that is supposed to be by God's grace.

Speaker:

How old are you right now, Benjamin?

Speaker:

Currently, I'm 25 years by now.

Speaker:

So it's been eight years since your experience of accepting Christ, when you were 17 years old.

Speaker:

If you're listening to this when you're 30 years old, what's a message you'd leave for future you listening?

Speaker:

Okay, to the future me, the message that I can leave to nobody, I can leave a message of being a person that is going to be a consistent person in the class, so that I see the wonders and the works of the Lord into my life.

Speaker:

Because in each and every person, there's a stepping stone that people meet.

Speaker:

There's a place there for the beginning.

Speaker:

So for the future, in 30 years, I can say I'll be proud to listen to this because a special encounter where I have experienced to tell my story of my salvation, of how I met Christ through this platform.

Speaker:

And it will be a pleasure for me to share to other people how God has brought me and how far God has done and whatever that is God will be doing there in my 30 years.

Speaker:

It's been an honor speaking with you, Benjamin.

Speaker:

Thank you for passing by to have a conversation with me.

Speaker:

In closing, is there anything else you'd like to share?

Speaker:

I know personally, I would just say thank you for your time.

Speaker:

Thank you for your time.

Speaker:

Thank you for this platform.

Speaker:

I believe by this platform, the Lord shall surely do a new thing, not just upon my life, but also upon your life.

Speaker:

And it's my desire that these messages, this broadcast, this conversation should go far from nation to nation.

Speaker:

It should attract people that shall sponsor this platform, that shall bless this platform, that this platform shall go far and change many, many, many lives of people.

Speaker:

It's my pleasure.

Speaker:

Benjamin, again, a pleasure.

Speaker:

I treasure.

Speaker:

Thank you for being on What Is Inspired by 12 Minute Convoys.
