TTB 160: The Guide to Exploring Morocco

Eva Westerling, together with her partner Hassan, runs an agency offering once-in-a-lifetime hiking tours in the Moroccan desert and organizing the logistics for various excursions and tours. After a few desert hiking trips in Morocco and Oman her love for the desert is strong and she loves sharing this passion with fellow travelers. After living and travelling around Morocco for more than 2 years, she knows the country well and her Moroccan partner grew up in the desert. Together they have the local knowledge as well as the organizational skills to put together these memorable experiences.

In a former life Eva was a Radiologist and Global Healthcare Consultant who quit her corporate job in 2019 after a month-long holiday in Morocco including a 16 days hiking trip in the Sahara. The plan was to travel indefinitely, but it soon became clear that she wanted to base herself in Morocco. This is also where she spent the major part of the pandemic. Travel is her biggest passion, and she has been to 41 countries, many of them multiple times. She also writes a travel blog focusing on Morocco and the Middle East.
