We are continuing to fast for the nation of Haiti to be delivered from violence, hunger, the curse of witchcraft and suffering. Pray and fast with us for a miracle.

About Haiti, despite its rich history and vibrant culture, faces significant challenges. Some alarming facts about the nation include:

1. Extreme Poverty: Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere. Around 60% of the population lives below the poverty line, and over 40% experience extreme poverty.

2. Political Instability: Haiti has a long history of political turmoil, exacerbated by frequent changes in leadership, corruption, and weak governance. The 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse further destabilized the country, leaving it in a power vacuum.

3. Gang Violence: A growing number of gangs control large parts of the country, especially in the capital, Port-au-Prince. Kidnappings, murders, and violence have surged, making daily life precarious for many.

4. Humanitarian Crisis: Haiti suffers from a dire humanitarian crisis. Access to clean water, healthcare, and sanitation is limited for many citizens, contributing to outbreaks of diseases like cholera. Food insecurity is widespread, with millions at risk of hunger.

5. Natural Disasters: Haiti is highly vulnerable to natural disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. The 2010 earthquake caused massive destruction, killing over 200,000 people, and the country continues to struggle with recovery. Recent hurricanes and tropical storms add to the devastation.

6. Environmental Degradation: Deforestation is a major issue in Haiti, as many rely on wood for fuel. This has led to soil erosion, reduced agricultural productivity, and increased vulnerability to natural disasters.

7. Education Challenges: Nearly half of Haiti’s population is illiterate, and the education system suffers from underfunding and a lack of infrastructure. Many children do not have access to schooling.

8. Health Care System Collapse: Haiti’s health system is severely underfunded and overwhelmed. There is a lack of doctors, equipment, and medicine, which makes dealing with health crises, including pandemics, difficult. Maternal and child mortality rates are among the highest in the Western Hemisphere.

These issues highlight the ongoing struggles Haiti faces, requiring comprehensive international assistance and internal reform to improve the nation's future trajectory.
