Simone is that guy that you see on Facebook ads who is a coach earning 6 figures coaching other coaches how to earn 6 figures, and you think to yourself “is this for real?”
But he is actually a real person! Not only is he real, but he shares with us how he created a formula to turn events into 6-figure earnings.
Simone is the Lead Facilitator of Explode Your Coaching Business. He’s been featured in Forbes, The Huffington Post, TEDx, recognised as one of the most influential Migrant Entrepreneurs in the UK (he’s from Italy), and was awarded Speaker Of The Year 2016 by the ACPTC.
Fed up with the dirt of the personal development industry that we all know about, he believes in changing the industry through the creation of a supportive and genuine community of coaches and speakers, helping them by creating seminars that convert, while delivering incredible value to the audience.
Successful from a young age (he was one of the youngest Michelin-Star restaurant managers in Europe), he transitioned from working in the catering industry to building a 6-figure coaching practice, and he shares the tools with his clients to allow them to grow from 0 to 6 figures as well.
Over the last 12 months, he has spoken in front of 5,000 individuals, which included sharing the stage with Les Brown, John C. Maxwell, Simon Sinek, and many others!
He has also organised over 170 events, including Gary Vee speaking from York Hall boxing ring, and he is currently speaking on more than 200 stages every year.
He now works with speakers, leaders and business owners helping them create effective presentations, events, and seminars that will add 5- to 6- figures to their bottom line, without compromising their integrity and developing a unique bond with their clients.
Simone cannot live without 3 things: Speaking, basketball and playing his didgeridoo.
Simone shares his incredible journey – a typical rags-to-riches story with an atypical twist on the humanity of it all. He talks about the drive behind it and how he became rejection-proof, as well as his struggle to balance running a massive company and business and also dedicate the time and energy necessary to his new marriage, to build a strong relationship and not repeat mistakes from his past.
When he was 14, his parents divorced and he went from middle class to having no money.
Simone was a waiter in an Italian restaurant at the age of 15 to earn pocket money for outings with friends, etc…
At 19, Simone was the youngest Michelin-starred restaurant manager, but maxed out and got bored at the age of 21 at the top of his field.
His employer said, “You are wasted here,” and sent him to a self development seminar where he realized THAT is what he wanted to do.
Left his job immediately with 4-5 months in savings, and ended up homeless for 6 months by choice (because he could’ve gone back to the restaurants)
Taking the worst job ever – door-to-door charity sales – because he needed sales experience. This made him totally rejection proof!
He ran his first 25 events and didn’t earn a penny.
After his 25th event he slowly earned more and more starting at £300 until he cracked the code to earn 6-figures from his events.
Simone is now married for about a year. He is a classic Type A personality – a workhorse, overachiever and it’s hard for him to take a break. A few months in to his new marriage, his wife told him it’s just not sustainable. Simone promised he would not end up like his parents! His wife booked a trip from the UK to NY and offered him to join if he doesn’t work. To his credit, Simone took her up on it and had the most amazing experience.
Now he needs to strike that balance, and dedicate time to his new marriage while his natural inclination is to work all the time. He already has an agreement with his wife to go away together a few times a year, as well as regular weekends together and date nights.
On top of that, we added a new level. Just as a business is built by all the little pieces, a relationship also needs the small daily “grunt work” to thrive. Simone could do something small every single day, bonus point if it’s also something that is difficult for him. It’s not just the easy, fun stuff that makes a great relationship (or business), not just the vacations and the dates. Simone can use those same business skills that grew his company to build his relationship as well.
