“You'll hear people say, we just need to stay high vibe. We just need to have positive thoughts like the universe has us. We're infinitely supported. And although those things are true, if we're not acknowledging where the discomfort or the ‘dis ease’ or the blocks are and we just try to put a Band-Aid over it, we're actually creating resistance.” Andee Love
Now more than ever, people recognize that it’s ok to not be ok all the time. For Andee Love, an Embodiment Facilitator and Coach, working through complicated emotions starts with getting back to the body.
On today’s episode of Rock Your Joy, Andee explains the concept of “spiritual bypassing” in which people try so hard to stay positive that they don’t acknowledge painful emotions they may be experiencing. She offers tips to find a movement practice that allows you to process your feelings and better connect with others.
Andee also shares her hopes for humankind as we begin to recover from the pandemic.
