: Electric Boogaloo in:00;01;01;22 - 00;01;26;17

Breakin' 2 continues the trials of Kelly, an aspiring dancer and her friends Ozone and Turbo. The main premise here was the conflict between Kelly's desire to continue learning street dancing against her father's wishes, as well as the crew's battle to keep the community dance and arts center open for the many children where Ozone now serves as a teacher and mentor.
00;01;27;09 - 00;01;30;21
JB
Despite the plans of a commercial real estate developer.
00;01;31;12 - 00;01;32;15
DynoWright
Dun dun dunnnn
00;01;36;04 - 00;01;42;08
Rapper
One, one one one one one one one.
00;01;43;03 - 00;01;43;21
DynoWright
All right, Boogie.
00;01;44;03 - 00;02;09;14
Boogie
The one thing that I absolutely loved about this movie is the story. You know, I love stories with the little guys fighting back. And in this case, they were fighting gentrification in the neighborhood. Then Miracles was the community center provide these children with an outlet and help them express themselves. This land developer, Mr Douglas, was just concerned with the dollar signs and improving the property value that would result from the building of the shopping center that would result after Miracles was torn down.
00;02;10;17 - 00;02;33;16
Boogie
There's a couple of conversations that they stuck out with me. There was one where Mr Randall was talking with the city folks in the commission about in the neighborhood. The name of the building came up, said, What's memory of the building? And they said Miracles. I said, Oh, you know, that's such an inspiring name. And then she inquired, You know, what's going to happen to all of those children once the building is torn down and the media response was, Well, they have the local club Radiotron.
00;02;34;10 - 00;02;55;06
Boogie
I'm thinking to myself, Radiotron is an adult club. It's an adult nightclub. It's not appropriate for children I've seen a story, you know, numerous times, you know, in my neighborhood, in other urban neighborhoods where no funding is cut to these different programs, community centers, rec centers, boys and girls clubs, et cetera. And the children are left with no activities.
00;02;55;06 - 00;03;13;29
Boogie
And as a result, you know, they get bored, things happening, real crime starts to go up violence goes up. So in this case, it was a good, you know, happy ending to see that, see them fight back against the big guys and win. So, you know, that always sticks out with me that that story line, that's kind of the basis for the whole movie.
00;03;14;14 - 00;03;39;12
JB
I agree. I love the fact that Ozone is a teacher for the children, that the community center kids have a place to go to for arts, culture, dance, and they form their own community. The break dancing in this movie is stellar. Just like in the first one, there's a classic scene with Turbo dancing on the walls in the ceiling.
00;03;39;28 - 00;04;05;27
JB
I think you may have seen that, though. That was pretty unique. And there was the one song, the Din Da Da Da song, which I know you love Boogie. That's a great one. And you know that that was awesome. The theme overall I love as well. I like to call it the precocious versus the pretentious sort of these precocious young young kids with with a lot of courage.
00;04;06;13 - 00;04;33;15
JB
And there was the pretentious the ostentatious the wealthy, and they just looked down upon them. You can tell in their language there were some scenes where they were asked to maybe help support a community center. And Kelly's father made some really nasty comment about, oh, they're just going to spend it on drugs and other things like that and, you know, stay away from those, quote unquote criminals.
00;04;34;09 - 00;04;34;19
Boogie
Right.
00;04;34;26 - 00;04;59;08
JB
So I love the the way that ended up, you know, rally together. Even the rival break dancing crews join forces. Electro Rock along with Turbo and Ozone and their team, TKO team and Turbo was the hero in the face of developers. He had been injured and he gets up and he stands right in front of those bulldozers. At the end, which was awesome to see.
00;05;00;02 - 00;05;01;02
JB
How about you DynoWright?
00;05;01;25 - 00;05;24;22
DynoWright
Well, this movie isn't what you would call a cinematic triumph. But who doesn't love a "Hey everybody, let's put on a show!" kind of story. "And we got to save the orphanage or the community center or the old theater or the family estate!" It's a well-worn formula, and it works in this movie. It's also not for nothing influential to my own sense of humor.
00;05;24;25 - 00;05;40;18
DynoWright
Like, any time there's a sequel of anything that subtitle is always either Electric Boogaloo or The Wrath of Khan or The Secret of the Ooze, so without this movie, I won't have my go to jokes Yeah.
00;05;41;01 - 00;05;59;02
Boogie
You know, the one point that you brought up about, you know, Turbo dancing on the ceiling, and that's such a classic scene. They really know how to showcase Turbo like they did in the first one with the with the broom scene. And in this one, you know, he was kind of going off the rails some pretty good special effects for the time at that time.
00;05;59;03 - 00;06;16;13
Boogie
So to pull that off and like I called it in the first one, that's his Fred Astaire moment. You know, this is his Fred Astaire moment for this one as well. And it's something about that song. Maybe the answer to every time I hear that song, I really loved the song and it just kind of emails together really well.
00;06;17;04 - 00;06;19;16
JB
And that was a great scene for sure.
00;06;20;01 - 00;06;21;10
DynoWright
That is probably the best scene in the.
00;06;21;10 - 00;06;22;28
DynoWright
Movie, I think. Yeah.
00;06;23;10 - 00;06;28;09
DynoWright
One of the best ones. It's it was really innovative for the time, I think.
00;06;28;15 - 00;06;28;24
Boogie
Yeah.
00;06;30;02 - 00;06;44;26
JB
That's definitely the most memorable scene because I remember I was talking to my brother in law recently shout out to Jay, I was talking about Breakin' and Breakin' 2. And he was, oh, when he dances on the walls, the ceilings? Yes, I remember that. Now, honestly, I couldn't remember if that was in the first one or the second one.
00;06;45;07 - 00;07;03;18
JB
But now I remember the second one and everybody was talking about that for months and months after that movie came out. Now, there was some things that I was you know, not really in favor of or kind of bug me a little bit. And it was kind of like the cheese factor for me was just way too high.
00;07;04;00 - 00;07;24;20
JB
I understand that the dancing had to be showcased, and it was. But I just thought that some of the scenes just dragged on. Like even in the early one of the early scenes, the whole neighborhood starts dancing, the mailman stops and dances, the cop stops and dances. For me, it was a good, bad Doublemint commercial that just would not end.
00;07;27;20 - 00;07;27;25
Rapper
You.
00;07;27;25 - 00;07;45;14
Boogie
Know, a little too much, a little too much better had they just focused on actual dancers dancing and just kind of everybody else was kind of like, oh, wow. Looking around and talking their hands or something about actually not actually dancing with them, they kind of pushed a little over the edge, a little bit.
00;07;46;04 - 00;08;01;26
DynoWright
It took me out a little bit. And it was like that scene in Rocky, which runs through the day and the whole town. And he went up on the steps of the art museum in Philadelphia. But like in this case, it was they're all running through Los Angeles and everyone is dancing. It's like a Michael Jackson video broke out, like all these random people dancing.
00;08;02;21 - 00;08;10;16
Boogie
It's like a Pepsi, the choice of a new generation yeah. Oh, now let's go is a can.
00;08;12;09 - 00;08;15;01
DynoWright
There wasn't Pepsi product placement in there. So I thought that too.
00;08;16;13 - 00;08;36;01
JB
That's funny. There were a couple other similar scenes that I just thought were, like, over the top cheesy, like the fake fight between the taco and the lecturer crew. They were standing on the cars and they were like, I'm going to fight you. But no, I'm going to just, like, kind of like, dance in front of you. And you were not really vicious.
00;08;36;01 - 00;08;44;08
JB
Just kind of like, take that move. No, no, you take that move. It's not like within the club. It was just kind of like over the top for me.
00;08;44;23 - 00;08;46;08
DynoWright
Yeah, I think me out, too.
00;08;46;16 - 00;08;59;20
Boogie
Yeah. I think like that scene would have been better had it been done, like beach, like it was done in Beat Street. Like, you know, when they were in the subway scene in the subway and they were dancing. That didn't look cheesy at all.
00;08;59;20 - 00;09;01;28
JB
Oh, yeah. That you could see the intent there.
00;09;01;28 - 00;09;11;11
Boogie
Right, right. It didn't look cheesy. And they were pretty much doing that similar choreography, but it just didn't come across as cheesy as it did, you know, in this one.
00;09;12;19 - 00;09;16;18
JB
Right. And the hospital scene later on.
00;09;17;07 - 00;09;21;01
Rapper
Yeah. When I was with you. Yeah.
00;09;21;03 - 00;09;35;03
JB
I was legitimately concerned for Turbo. He took the, the developers of the construction workers lunchbox. He ran, he stumbled down the concrete steps, banged his head. And by the way, did you notice how bad that stunt double was?
00;09;35;06 - 00;09;41;22
DynoWright
So the he fell so bad. He aged 20 years and 50 pounds. yeah exactly.
00;09;41;22 - 00;09;48;05
JB
The guy, the guy was like 35 years old and a lot heavier. It was just awful.
00;09;48;05 - 00;09;54;10
DynoWright
Editing, clearly not the same size serious. This is at an hour and 2 minutes. I swear to that and see how let's.
00;09;54;10 - 00;09;58;10
Boogie
Scene that scene. Reminds me of I'm going to get you sucker.
00;09;58;10 - 00;09;58;26
DynoWright
Yes.
00;09;59;08 - 00;10;01;29
Boogie
The mother walked in to touch my baby.
00;10;05;04 - 00;10;06;29
Rapper
You could clearly you could.
00;10;06;29 - 00;10;08;10
Boogie
Clearly see the mustache.
00;10;08;29 - 00;10;09;11
Rapper
Person.
00;10;09;13 - 00;10;18;01
Boogie
Again and it turns around and this is her again. That's exactly what that scene reminds me of. I mean, my sisters and I used to crack up every time a scene came on.
00;10;18;08 - 00;10;18;27
JB
Oh, man.
00;10;19;27 - 00;10;24;17
DynoWright
That's an example of I think this movie is awesomely bad. It's really bad. But there's an awesome this.
00;10;25;03 - 00;10;25;22
DynoWright
Is so.
00;10;26;03 - 00;10;26;28
DynoWright
Terribly bad.
00;10;27;05 - 00;10;27;26
Boogie
Like, like.
00;10;28;06 - 00;10;40;05
JB
Like a toxic avenger or something where it's just so bad. But yeah, the stunt double reminds me of almost like something naked gun would do. Yes. Just blatantly obvious that it's a different person.
00;10;40;14 - 00;10;41;02
Rapper
Yeah. No.
00;10;41;15 - 00;10;42;10
JB
You're supposed to just.
00;10;42;29 - 00;10;48;05
DynoWright
At least they got the race correct. I mean, I think in the end, it was like they swapped a black person for a white person.
00;10;49;16 - 00;10;49;23
JB
They got the
00;10;49;23 - 00;10;53;29
JB
race. They got the outfit, but. Oh, man, it was it was rough.
00;10;54;18 - 00;10;54;27
Rapper
Because is.
00;10;55;12 - 00;10;59;13
Boogie
Really short cut. It wasn't even like, he didn't have like a jheri curl or anything.
00;11;00;24 - 00;11;21;04
JB
You know, that was funny, but if you think about it, you know, we become attached. Turbo goes on. So young Turbo falls down the steps, his head is bleeding from the head and then moments later, you know, he's in the hospital. They're asked if he's OK. And that becomes an absolute joke. You know, he gets up, he's in a full body cast.
00;11;21;04 - 00;11;45;14
JB
I don't know how he had a cast on his leg or if, but he he's OK. He starts dancing around. Everybody start dancing. They're they're in the in the hallway. All the nurses are doing dancing. There's sexy nurses. It's just what is going on all of a sudden. And then there's another dude that's like flatlining in the staff just takes off, ignore him, he starts dancing, and then it just becomes a big party.
00;11;45;14 - 00;11;51;23
JB
And I was like, I was torn because they're messing with my emotions you know?
00;11;51;27 - 00;12;02;08
Boogie
I mean, yeah, the poor guy in a wheelchair rolls out, and he's got his arm in a sling. It makes me mad. He's dancing around slings. So we get him it's not even on his arm anymore.
00;12;03;02 - 00;12;03;12
Rapper
Yeah.
00;12;05;05 - 00;12;08;13
JB
It did become a naked gun. Ask a little bit.
00;12;09;05 - 00;12;29;04
DynoWright
And if you notice, when Ozone goes to find Kelly to bring them, bring her to the hospital, they're wearing a set of clothes. And then when they get to the hospital, it's a completely different set of clothes. And so it was time to stop and get it, get change. So what happened there? You could probably do a whole episode, just continuity errors movie.
00;12;29;08 - 00;12;37;05
DynoWright
But that took me out a little bit like, oh, what happened to get something to eat? What's going on there?
00;12;38;27 - 00;12;59;07
Boogie
Again, that whole scene, like I said. But, you know, when we were walking down the street it would have played out a little better. Had no the people from Miracles showed up and say, you know what I mean? Turbos down, let's start dancing and cheer him up. And meanwhile, the hospital staff is trying to stop them, stop them from dancing because they disrupt in the hospital.
00;12;59;15 - 00;13;03;22
Boogie
But instead, everybody just participates and even just turns cheesy yeah.
00;13;05;02 - 00;13;05;08
Rapper
Yeah.
00;13;05;25 - 00;13;27;15
JB
They went from a B movie to a C movie to a D movie in rapid succession. For me, the other I guess the last part that I would consider ultra cheesy, a song about fundraising when they were told they need to raise $200,000 to save Miracles and it was, I'm listening to the lyrics. It's like, you got to get that money if you want the honey.
00;13;27;15 - 00;13;31;26
Rapper
And I was and I was like, What? What are you talking about?
00;13;32;15 - 00;13;38;20
JB
And it went on. That song went on, and I'm like, Oh, man, that was tough. Tough to listen to.
00;13;41;05 - 00;13;42;10
DynoWright
This movie was tough to watch.
00;13;43;08 - 00;13;44;05
Rapper
It's too funny.
00;13;44;24 - 00;14;05;18
Boogie
Yeah. This is there's a couple of things I like. One other thing that I noticed, too, was when T.K., Electro Rock threw the spray cans through the window and they went down and chased them, chased them down and I'm looking at Electro Rock, and the chick from Electro Rock is there. She's got a beef with TKO.
00;14;05;18 - 00;14;14;00
Boogie
What are you doing? Just got you a gig. In the first one why are you beefing with them now they just had? They had, you know, you were dancing with them.
00;14;16;13 - 00;14;17;23
Boogie
But, hey, whatever.
00;14;19;05 - 00;14;20;10
DynoWright
More continuity errors.
00;14;21;12 - 00;14;21;16
Rapper
Were.
00;14;21;19 - 00;14;22;21
JB
There. Non non-sequitur.
00;14;22;29 - 00;14;23;17
Rapper
Yeah, like.
00;14;23;25 - 00;14;38;03
Boogie
Like I like out of that. Out of that. Battle, at least one thing that did make sense was Pop and Taco, who was one of the guys from Electro Rock. In the first one, he was actually with TKO and okay I see you appreciate getting a gig, he hangs out with them.
00;14;38;03 - 00;14;38;09
Rapper
That.
00;14;39;00 - 00;14;49;14
Boogie
It's not he's actually battling his old crew like, hey, you know, what are you guys doing? But the chick is with them. I'm like, you were just with them. Like, What happened it just didn't make sense.
00;14;50;20 - 00;14;51;20
DynoWright
A lot didn't make sense.
00;14;51;20 - 00;14;52;09
Rapper
This Murphy.
00;14;52;28 - 00;14;57;16
JB
Yeah. They all joined forces at the end to in unity against the developers.
00;14;58;18 - 00;14;58;28
Rapper
And.
00;14;59;12 - 00;14;59;21
JB
One of.
00;14;59;21 - 00;15;01;11
DynoWright
The things in the same gang like.
00;15;01;13 - 00;15;03;15
JB
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
00;15;03;15 - 00;15;04;10
Rapper
And it's like.
00;15;04;10 - 00;15;05;05
Boogie
Dancing with Kelly.
00;15;09;25 - 00;15;37;05
JB
The only thing that I question also is the very end. We all know Kelly's dad is a blueblood as I call him. He's ultra wealthy. He looks down upon everyone other than, you know, folks in his country club and whatnot is very upset that Kelly's hanging out with these street dancers all this time. We want to go to Princeton and just kind of make something of her life.
00;15;37;18 - 00;16;11;02
JB
So it comes to the point where they're doing this huge fundraiser and it's televised. And I like the reporter by the way. He helped them out. But what happened is all sudden, after being so negative and condescending, anti, you know, dancing and anti-minority, honestly, all of a sudden he's watching and something flips. And he says, oh, well, they are fighting for a good cause.
00;16;11;07 - 00;16;17;28
JB
I'm going to take out my checkbook and give them $50,000 so they can finish with. That would never happen. It was just so ridiculous to me.
00;16;18;17 - 00;16;24;00
Boogie
Right? Yeah. He'd have all kinds of strings attached to that. $50,000, that's for sure.
00;16;25;04 - 00;16;26;06
JB
Right. I mean.
00;16;26;22 - 00;16;26;29
Rapper
He's a.
00;16;26;29 - 00;16;36;28
JB
Survivor, real life. He either doesn't give the money, which is the most likely scenario, or if he does, as you mentioned, strings attached I'm going to put my last name on.
00;16;36;28 - 00;16;39;00
Rapper
This is the Bennett Center now.
00;16;39;09 - 00;16;58;23
JB
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Better center right then at center, everybody that dances will have a Bennett Center logo, a Bennett logo on and everybody's going to know my name that I did this. And whatever business I'm affiliated with is going to somehow benefit because I'm helping underprivileged kids is this got to be more in it for him then to just write that check?
00;16;59;08 - 00;16;59;20
Rapper
Yeah.
00;17;00;05 - 00;17;20;18
JB
Yeah. It would have been nice if he actually were to further develop the community center or have plans to mold these children in another way. Maybe, maybe make it help them with some entrepreneurial program as well as arts center as well, you know, maybe help them network and advance the careers otherwise as well.
00;17;21;23 - 00;17;22;25
Boogie
Agreed. Agreed.
00;17;23;18 - 00;17;26;19
JB
Any other comments about the movie itself?
00;17;27;17 - 00;17;51;07
Boogie
I mean, there's a couple of things that I did. I noticed as well. I mentioned in the first one, actress Lela Rochon and she was dancing in the opening sequence. This one she had like a small, small, small part. She was one of Rhonda's homegirls that was harassing Kelly in the in the Radiotron. She's one of my favorite actresses from back in the day.
00;17;51;07 - 00;18;22;24
Boogie
I mean, she's absolutely stunning. So every time I see on my wow, there's this little shot right there. So it's always good to see her. And then like the emcee at the the event at the end that was Frankie Crocker. So if you don't know who Frankie Crocker was, Frankie Crocker is a very at the time, he's the late, great Frankie Crocker she's I should say, given his respect, he's a very well known and well respected deejay in the radio community.
00;18;22;24 - 00;18;49;27
Boogie
He took New York based WBLS to extremely renowned heights. He completely like transformed their radio station and how their format their music format laid out. He was very innovative and a lot of R&B based radio stations that are out right now are based off the format that Frankie Crocker developed. You know, he was very innovative. And I remember I didn't know who he was at the time.
00;18;49;27 - 00;19;09;25
Boogie
And for someone watching, my momma was 20 them out of my this guy. So now I kind of looked it up and then I, you know, listen to the radio. I'm like, Wait a minute, Frankie Crocker, that's the guy I was in break in too, you know? But yeah, that's that's some guy, if you want to look up, you know, somebody who's big in radio, who did a lot for urban format on radio stations.
00;19;10;12 - 00;19;12;04
Boogie
That's your man right there. Frankie Crocker.
00;19;15;02 - 00;19;16;25
DynoWright
And a solid knowledge. Thank you, Boogie.
00;19;17;06 - 00;19;17;16
Rapper
Mm hmm.
00;19;17;29 - 00;19;18;19
Boogie
No problem.
00;19;22;08 - 00;19;26;23
Rapper
To give 20.
00;19;27;14 - 00;19;31;04
JB
Boogie, I know you own the soundtrack. What did you think of the music overall?
00;19;31;15 - 00;19;54;05
Boogie
Oh, yeah. Breaking. So now I love the break ins. The break and soundtracks. They're they're good in the sense that you get a pretty diverse sound. It's not complete boom bap rap. Through the whole album, but you can always find music to dance to. It always puts you in a certain mood that makes you want to dance from that classic.
00;19;54;05 - 00;20;06;29
Boogie
Then data, though, that's that's a that's a complete banger right there. You could put that on any time. And I mean, my son absolutely loves it. I played it for him one morning and he was going crazy in it. In the bathroom brushing his teeth.
00;20;08;03 - 00;20;10;05
JB
But he gave us a few bars, can give us a few bars.
00;20;14;00 - 00;20;29;23
Boogie
I like the to it. It's a classic. And, you know, there's a couple of other songs in there like I See When I See You, which is a song from the hospital you know, even the, you know, the radio trance song Believe in a Beat. It's such a positive, uplifting song.
00;20;31;15 - 00;20;31;25
Rapper
Yeah.
00;20;32;19 - 00;20;34;05
Boogie
It's a great it's a good soundtrack.
00;20;35;13 - 00;20;36;20
Rapper
It's solid. Yeah.
00;20;37;07 - 00;20;37;23
JB
I agree.
00;20;39;25 - 00;20;43;00
JB
How could this be made today? I would say no.
00;20;48;11 - 00;20;52;07
Boogie
Yeah. I'm going to say I would not want to see this movie today.
00;20;54;22 - 00;20;56;24
DynoWright
I probably wouldn't bother to.
00;20;56;24 - 00;20;57;23
JB
Make it a remake.
00;20;57;26 - 00;20;58;18
DynoWright
Today either.
00;20;59;16 - 00;21;18;12
JB
Yeah. I mean I mean, the theory that I have was that it may have been rushed to production. As we were talking before the show, Boogie was saying, yeah, they did hint at the sequel right at the end of the first one. So it seemed to me that it was rushed to production. They extended some of those dance scenes.
00;21;18;17 - 00;21;21;22
JB
The idea of the plot was great, but I think it was half baked.
00;21;22;02 - 00;21;30;18
Boogie
Yeah, they found that. They found that innovative dance craze and he said, Let's ride this wave hard and fast. And that's basically what happened.
00;21;31;21 - 00;21;35;22
JB
Is that piecing together a bunch of cheesy dance montages.
00;21;35;23 - 00;21;37;01
Rapper
And scenes.
00;21;38;09 - 00;21;46;24
Boogie
From a cookie cutter little guys frighten the big guys format and just do some dance routines to it. Pushed it right on out.
00;21;47;26 - 00;21;48;04
DynoWright
Yeah.
00;21;49;02 - 00;21;58;09
JB
Yeah. I notice that the guy there was a new agent for Kelly. We were talking about this earlier in his movie. Well, the guy well, what's his name? Macdonald. That guy.
00;21;59;04 - 00;21;59;12
Boogie
Chris.
00;21;59;29 - 00;22;07;23
JB
Christopher McDonald. He turned down the role of Kelly's agent. And I think maybe that was a wise choice. He went on to bigger things.
00;22;08;00 - 00;22;09;26
Boogie
So that script and ran for the hills.
00;22;10;07 - 00;22;12;24
Rapper
Right no.
00;22;12;24 - 00;22;13;07
Boogie
Way.
00;22;15;00 - 00;22;20;11
JB
He had a cheese allergy, I guess yeah. Lactose intolerant.
00;22;21;09 - 00;22;21;17
Rapper
Yeah.
00;22;26;16 - 00;22;30;26
JB
Three, three, three, three, three, three.
00;22;34;10 - 00;22;44;26
JB
That being said, you know, let's give it a R rating. So let's either bring that funky flick back, bring that something, flick back or leave it in the vault. Boy, what do you say?
00;22;45;15 - 00;22;45;26
Rapper
Oh.
00;22;48;02 - 00;22;55;11
Boogie
This is a tough one for me because, you know, like I said, I've watched this movie so many times as a kid, so it's kind of hard for me to let it go.
00;22;56;17 - 00;22;57;01
Boogie
Ahhh.
00;22;58;28 - 00;23;06;24
Boogie
I don't know if I want to bring it back or leave it in the vault. I think I'm going to leave the door cracked slightly here.
00;23;10;14 - 00;23;12;15
JB
In the ball, both slightly cracked and.
00;23;12;20 - 00;23;14;22
Boogie
Slightly cracked because I would a peek inside.
00;23;17;18 - 00;23;19;07
JB
DynoWright. What do you got?
00;23;19;26 - 00;23;34;28
DynoWright
Despite the fact that I use anything "2: Electric Boogaloo" as a go to joke, I'm going to leave this in the vault. But I did appreciate that Kelly's mom called them Bozo and Turbine, that made me laugh very much.
00;23;35;16 - 00;23;36;02
Rapper
That was funny.
00;23;37;16 - 00;23;54;18
JB
I also will leave it in the vault. This is the first film I will leave in the vault. I, I do love that Dada song. Don't look that one up. That is a classic, classic what's the name of that artist? Oh, this is a German. It's a German song, right?
00;23;55;04 - 00;23;56;12
Boogie
Is George. George Krantz.
00;23;56;24 - 00;24;05;13
JB
George Krantz, yeah. Didn't Dada you got to look that up if you haven't. It's a it's a fun beep you made. I'm sure you've heard it before.
00;24;05;23 - 00;24;06;01
Rapper
Yes.
00;24;06;09 - 00;24;11;08
Boogie
If you don't dance to that song, I got to look at you sideways. Something's wrong with you.
00;24;12;13 - 00;24;22;21
DynoWright
There was one last thing I forgot to mention is that when the old songs on camera time, people have come to the show at the end so there'll be dancing and juggling the works. And I thought, ooh, dancing and juggling.
00;24;24;25 - 00;24;26;04
JB
It was a mime also. Right?
00;24;26;12 - 00;24;28;28
DynoWright
Clown. There was a mime. Well, there was a mime. Yeah.
00;24;29;22 - 00;24;30;18
Boogie
A magician. Yeah.
00;24;30;27 - 00;24;31;06
Rapper
Yes, a.
00;24;31;06 - 00;24;31;22
JB
Magician.
00;24;32;03 - 00;24;35;16
DynoWright
The complete cinematic entertainment. Trevor Gansa.
00;24;36;02 - 00;24;55;07
JB
That was wild. I want to thank all of our listeners. I know you give a shout out as well. Done. All right, but now we're getting a little bit of foreign community here. Has been it's been a lot of fun. I'll give a shout out to em. Square. You know who you are. Thanks for your interest and we'll keep the dialog going.
00;24;55;17 - 00;24;56;05
DynoWright
Yes, sir.
00;25;07;05 - 00;25;30;20
DynoWright

DynoWright
Yeah. Talk about Ice-T. Ice-T's in this movie.
00;26;05;04 - 00;26;25;20
Boogie
Oh my God, we forgot about Ice-T. Yeah, you know, you know, somebody asked you real quick, Steve, so. Yes. No, it's always good. As he did in the first one, it was good to see Ice-T, a young spry Ice-T rocking in the radio, Tron. And he had that same look similar to that to the mix that were rocking at the Roxy.
00;26;25;20 - 00;26;46;19
Boogie
He had that whole rock, dowel, studs and chains and, you know, rock star appeal to them. It's always good to see him. And then, you know, at the end, he got a got a chance to drop a few bars at the Miracles fundraiser with hot top backing him up as his dancer. So, yeah, he shot the Ice Man in another thing.
00;26;46;19 - 00;26;58;25
Boogie
We went to one of those. Did you freestyle these lyrics or did you know it written down? Because, you know, it's not on a soundtrack and hit us up. Please let us know.
00;26;59;09 - 00;27;01;15
DynoWright
@FINALLEVEL. Tell us what's up.
00;27;01;24 - 00;27;05;13
Boogie
Item level, please. I'm a tag him and ask.
00;27;05;13 - 00;27;07;22
Rapper
Him to yes that.
00;27;08;07 - 00;27;10;15
Boogie
He responds to fans who want to ask him.
00;27;11;12 - 00;27;16;08
DynoWright
You should ask him. All right, listeners, if he if he tells us what it is, we'll tell you podcast.
00;27;17;03 - 00;27;17;13
Rapper
What.
