Paint can work small scale miracles in a space. But there’s one area of the home where the miracles can be epic. I’m Dan Hansen and this is a Minute at RepcoLite sponsored by Benjamin Moore.
I’m talking about the kitchen. Painting your kitchen cabinets has to be one of–if not THE–best bang-for-your-buck home projects there is.
First off, it’s inexpensive in the grand scheme of things. Replacing cabinets means dropping an average of $11,000. Having them repainted can average right around $4000 - 5000. Painting them yourself averages around $600 - $700 or so in paint and supplies. So, tackling the project yourself can save you thousands.
Secondly, it’s a great bang-for-your-buck project because the end results will blow you away. It happens all the time. If you’ve got old 90’s oak cabinets and you paint them, you’ll find yourself standing in your kitchen, amazed that it’s the same place. Add new pulls and knobs and the kitchen will seem brand new.
All for some work and usually much less than $1000 worth of expense. If your kitchen could use an upgrade, tune in tomorrow and we’ll start walking our way through the project. I’m Dan Hansen and that’s a Minute at RepcoLite.
