In a game that saw six lead changes and four ties, the Harbor Beach Pirates put together a 17-1 run in the final 3:12 to snag their first victory in four years over rival Ubly, 51-39. Harbor Beach's sophomore Benson Harper led all scorers with 26 points, 14 of which came in the fourth quarter alone. Ubly was paced by Brayden Franzel's 16 points.

With the win, Harbor Beach has already tied last year's win total of eight with 12 regular season games still to go. The Pirates improve to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in Greater Thumb East (GTE) play. Ubly falls to 4-4 and 1-2 in the GTE, having lost three of its last four games since December 28, 2023.
