Imagine being in some country "illegally." You may be living in a culture that doesn't quite make sense to you. In some cases, it may be a culture that is not welcoming or friendly. Because of your status as "an illegal," you have to be cautious and careful. You don't want to call unnecessary attention to yourself and invite arrest, sanctions, or retribution.
How then do you live? If you are wise, for the sake of your family and children, you live and socialize among your own people. Relationships outside your group are formed wisely, intentionally, and carefully--purposefully.
So it is with Christians! We are aliens and strangers on earth (and in our own countries). Increasingly our worldview is becoming criminalized (gay marriage, transgender rights, et al) and we find ourselves in danger of sanction, legal and civil penalties and "culturally disadvantaged." Therefore, we have to wisely live out our faith and invest wisely in those outside the faith. But how? Mark and Keith explain and address these challenges in today's podcast.
