any years ago. I think it was: ::Mat Boggs
And I was super new. I my book had just come out. They hired me because they saw me on the today show and I gave my talk. And afterwards this woman sat down with me and helped unpack my presentation, helped me become even better. Showed me the ropes like she's crushing it. She's one of the featured teachers in the hit movie The Secret.
::Mat Boggs
She is her extraordinary story. You're going to hear some of this goes from being on public assistance. Like you can't even pay your rent. You can't even pay your bills. So you got government assistance leading today, a multimillion dollar enterprise. And that is the inspiration behind her mission, which is to teach others to pour into others and let them know that the extraordinary results that they want and their lives really are possible.
::Mat Boggs
It does not matter. Your starting place. It doesn't matter how long it's been there. This woman is one of the most requested speakers on the planet today. Not just speakers, but media personalities and her platform has reached over 170 countries around the world and serves 80 million people a year. That is huge. Herself, she has over 2.4 million followers on social media and is the founder and CEO of a company called Motivating the Masses.
::Mat Boggs
She's developed workshops and programs that have transformed literally tens of thousands of people's lives lives of entrepreneurs, business owners. And as a result of these trainings, her students become unforgettable, unforgettable speakers, bestselling authors, and six and seven figure entrepreneurs. So here to help you activate your dream turn that vision into reality. Please welcome my good friend Lisa Nichols.
::Lisa Nichols
Thank you everyone. I'm super excited about this conversation. I'm excited about what we get to talk about when we talk about vision, and setting a vision and understanding that you are worthy of a vision and that your vision is yours and your vision will grow and expand, that there are people around you to give, to give life and light to your vision.
::Lisa Nichols
It's the reason why my life is unrecognizable today. That's what we're building. We're building an unreal cognizable life, an unrecognizable life of service, of prosperity and possibility, unrecognizable life of health and well-being, of spiritual, unrecognizable life. That's what we're going for. An unrecognizable life of contribution. Like having that life where you look back and go, whoa, this right here is unrecognizable from 20 years ago, right?
::Lisa Nichols
20, ten years ago, five years ago. Unrecognizable. Life of forgiveness. It's like when you have a vision. Everything that you can imagine begins with a vision. It begins with the ability to say, wait a minute. It's my divine birthright. It is my worthy. I am worthy of having a big vision and an even bigger manifestation. Hello! I want my manifestation to blow my vision out of the water.
::Lisa Nichols
That's what that's. That's the life that I'm living right now. That the manifestation in my life is so much bigger than the vision. Matt. Like I had a vision and my manifestation trumped my vision. I don't even know how that happens. But let's just pray. Every sister and every brother here, in my words, has that experience. But it starts with understanding that you're worthy of it, that it's your birthright.
::Lisa Nichols
I was sharing today that I'm I'm at the Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, and I said, our ancestors, they're you, your ancestors, my ancestors, some of our ancestors, not all of them, but some of our ancestors. They couldn't occupy a room at the Beverly Hills Hilton. They couldn't take a workshop with with Mary Moore. So they couldn't they couldn't afford to be at a webinar that could they didn't have the resources.
::Lisa Nichols
But we do. And somebody had the vision that their grandchildren and their great great grandchildren and their great great grandchildren would be able to learn together across cultural lines. We'll be able to sit at the Beverly Hills Hilton and be a guest, not a housekeeper or not someone, but to be a guest and and their vision became our reality.
::Lisa Nichols
And so I ask you, what are you willing to hold in your vision? What are you willing to hold? What's what vision are you so willing to be big and bold about that? The vision even make your knees knock. When I said I want to travel the world 27 years ago now, I want to travel the world. I want to inspire people.
::Lisa Nichols
I want to autograph something. I want to pour into people. I had no idea at the time how it was going to happen. It was a big vision. But my life that I live today had to start with that vision. And I got to tell you, I'm a big person on visualization, being willing to see it in living color that I remember that I, I at one point in time, I visualize myself going into a room and getting ready to speak, and before I could speak, someone yelled out, thank you!
::Lisa Nichols
was my visualization in like: ::Lisa Nichols
lizing this. I'm not kidding.: ::Lisa Nichols
I wave out the window at the side and I say, excuse me, sir, can I get in front of you? I'm late for an event and this guy lets me get in front of him. And he yells out, out the window, I'm going to see you anyway.
::Lisa Nichols
And then this Escalade pulls up on side him, and this woman says the window goes down. The woman says, what time do you go on? I'm coming to see you. And then this other car waves at me, and one by one, people are waving at me. I get to the off ramp. I'm going to be late. I'm going to be late.
::Lisa Nichols
If I don't get some help getting off this off ramp, I'm. I get to the off ramp and cars are bumping in front of me. And it was like I didn't realize that everyone recognize me and my afro. I don't know, some of y'all remember me and my afro. Back when I met Matt, I was rocking my afro and I was in my convertible.
::Lisa Nichols
And one by one, the cars begin to pull up on the embankment to allow my car to go through. And as I drove through, get this one by one, the cars, the passengers in the car were yelling, thank you Lisa, thank you for your work in The Secret. Thank you, thank you. And I'm crying. By the time I get to the San Diego Stadium, there are 11,500 people waiting and I'm a hot mess because I had that visualization up at least ten years earlier.
::Lisa Nichols
I saw them now it looked different than my vision, but it was. It was exactly what I said. People acknowledging me and thanking me for my contribution. So I ask you, what's your future that's unfolding? And that will start in your vision if you can see it, if you can smell it and taste it and feel it if you can, if you can eat forward and sleep forward, get up early for go, but go to bed late for if you can, cry for it and pray for.
::Lisa Nichols
If you're willing to do all of that for, then faith it is yours to be had. Now you got to get an action forward. You got to be willing to stand forward. You got to be willing to fight sports sometimes. Fight your mindset forward. You got to be willing to ask for help forward. You got to be willing to show up forward.
::Lisa Nichols
You got to be willing to get train forward. You got to be willing to be a student forward. If you're willing to do that, then it's ready to come to you. Are you willing are you willing to grow up forward? Are you willing? Are you willing to humble forward? Are you willing to show up forward? Are you willing to own your voice and hone your voice for, oh, if you're willing, that is waiting on you.
::Lisa Nichols
You are still becoming. You are not. You haven't arrived. You're becoming. I love saying that. Oh, I, I am becoming, I am becoming dad, dad, dad, dad, dad I'm becoming dad, dad, dad, dad, dad in my vision is shaping my becoming. What shapes your becoming? Your vision. What follows your vision, your action. What creates your reality, your consistent action, your accountability and your community.
::Lisa Nichols
But it all starts the see the seed? Come on y'all. The seed is your vision. The seed is your vision. And then the seed that sits beside that is your faith. Oh come on now. The seed is your vision and the seed that sits behind. Beside that is your faith. That's what's happening. And so I want to ask you, are you willing, are you willing to be radical visualization and visualizing success is necessary.
::Lisa Nichols
You have to see yourself not where you are. See yourself where you're going. Come on now, I'm real big on this. Begin with the end in mind. Where do you land? What's where? How? What does it look like five years from now? I'm gonna go even further. What's your legacy? What do they say about you? What do they say about you as a person and who you've been and how you show up?
::Lisa Nichols
What stories have you shared? What amazing things have you done? What lives have you changed? What contribution did you bring? And now that you know what you've done, shape that shape that very clearly. And oh, by the way, it could take you five, ten, 15 years to do all that said shape something so big, visualize something so big that you gotta grow up to get it.
::Lisa Nichols
The things that I visualized, I knew I couldn't do. Being the woman I was. I'm okay with that. That means I need to become. Let's say it again. I need to become. So in order for me to meet my vision of me, I need to become. So who are you? Walk out five years. Walk out ten years.
::Lisa Nichols
What does she do? What's her. What's her contribution to the planet? What's her, what's his? What's his mainstay? How has he changed people? How the infected people? My grandmother said, I don't want you to come in the room and just enter the room. I want you to affect the room. Affect the room? Infect the room with your essence.
::Lisa Nichols
How does she do that? And how does she do that? Visualize that. And now reverse engineer what's necessary to go get that version of you. That version of you in your future is waiting on you to get clear. So visualize it. So own it to build your resiliency for to know that you can't get to her. You can't get to him alone.
::Lisa Nichols
And you're in the best tribe ever to get to it. Because I know my I know my my tribe. I know my tribe. I know what they deliver. There's a reason why I fell in love with them a long time ago. What are you willing to be bold enough to see for yourself? And visualization and the ability to visualize is the ability to paint pictures that you can't even imagine come true.
::Lisa Nichols
And then when you get an action, you blow your mind with what you created. But your vision is at least the GPS. So what direction are we going in? If you've ever felt lost, if you ever felt like you couldn't quite navigate what you were doing, you probably weren't operating off your vision. And if you don't operate off your vision for you.
::Lisa Nichols
Hello. Are you going to operate on somebody else's vision for you? Ouch. Who needed to hear that? So if you feel like you're not living your own life, I'm going to ask you, where's your vision for your life? And then what's your implementation for that vision? I look at my life today. I listen to what Matt said about the reach that I have and the impact that I have, and I go, wow.
::Lisa Nichols
It started with a vision. It started with the vision. So I invite you, I invite you, let's write the next chapter of your life story because no one holds the pen and their hand for your story but you. No one can write your life story, but you. You are the author of your autobiography and you are the designer of your destiny.
::Lisa Nichols
And I'm gonna tell you something. Whenever you're chapter one and your chapter two or your chapter four was hard and you had to climb over something and you had to overcome a mountain, a mountain of doubt, a mountain of chaos, a mountain of hurt, whatever your mountain was. When your chapter one, two, three, 4 or 5 was hard, it just made it.
::Lisa Nichols
Chapter 20 and 21 and 22. Better to read. So don't stop in the middle of the book. Write the whole story and make sure you don't put down the pen because you don't like the way chapter four felt. Make sure you don't put down the pen because chapter 12 wasn't fair. If chapter two. If chapter 12 wasn't fair, let's make sure that chapter 24 blows their mind.
::Lisa Nichols
Hello somebody. I came to get those who know that you are the designer of your destiny. And? And there might be a divorce in a chapter. There might be illness in a chapter. There might be death in a chapter. There might be lack of money in the chapter. But hold on, the book ain't over yet. The book ain't over yet.
::Lisa Nichols
So keep becoming and visualize who you're becoming. Visualize what you're becoming. Understand what you're worthy of. Become. I wanted to meet me. I wanted to meet all of who I can be. Because honestly, when we get to the end of our story, when you get to the end of your journey, you want to say, I play Fall out for me and bigger.
::Lisa Nichols
I play full out for everyone crossing my path. Yes, it's going to cost you something. Every great thing cost you something. That's why you were willing to pay, because you know that your convictions will require that you pay. Because if you don't pay for who you know yourself to be, you will pay a greater price for what you didn't do.
::Lisa Nichols
I don't want to be left with the memory of what I didn't do. I want to be left with the memory. I gave it all, I ran, I leaped and I fell and I ran, I lived and I fell again and I ran, I slipped and I fell again. But before that fifth time I ran, I lived and I'll be God's arm I took flight hold the vision and hold the vision tight.
::Lisa Nichols
Create the vision and create the vision. Write. Protect the vision and protect the day and night. I'm here so that you know that everything you see for you is your birthright. It's not a fake. It's not false. It's not wishful thinking. It's not daydream. It everything you can see for you is your birthright. Now, let's go get it.
::Lisa Nichols
What's your vision? What can you see? What can you remind yourself? I want to uplevel my mental mindset. I want to uplevel. I want to put my mindset on an elevator and take it up, up, up, and then sign up for the next best version of yourself and then become an unapologetic don't shrink. Don't shrink to fits someone else's perception of you.
::Lisa Nichols
Hold on. I must say that again. I came for somebody. Don't shrink to fit someone else's perception of you. Don't be held hostage to your past. Your past does not equal your future. Your past is a set up. It's the platform you don't stand on. You don't stand in your story. Stand on your story. It's not in spite of your past that you get to be amazing.
::Lisa Nichols
For those of you that turbulent past, it's because of your past that you're perfectly fit for this vision on your life. Oh, don't get me started. Oh, it's too late. Mama started so I just stopped by. I stopped by to ask you. Can you recognize your worthiness? You woke up, you know. Am I talking to you? Woke up smart enough.
::Lisa Nichols
You woke up young enough. You woke up old enough. You woke up loving enough. You woke up wide enough. Still enough, small enough, large enough. You woke up. You woke up enough. Nothing else needs to be added to you to make you okay. You woke up enough for this vision. Now go blow your mind. Your mindset. Your mindset is asking you grow me, expand me and then can you see yourself there?
::Lisa Nichols
See when I shape my future I saw it, I saw myself traveling, I saw myself, I saw you before I met you. Oh, I would be in the mirror talking to you. I would be in the mirror pouring into you. And guess what? I sound just like this right now. Now I wake to my and go to school.
::Lisa Nichols
So you wouldn't think mom is crazy, but I would pour into you. I would give you my all. I knew you were coming. I knew you were coming I wasn't wondering, I know, like I know, like I know like I know she's on her way, I know he's coming. And when I got that convicted, everything in my world had to align with my vision.
::Lisa Nichols
So wish your vision in what are you visualizing? Don't brace yourself for not to go right because now you're visualizing that. So if you need to build your visualization muscle then that's what we do here. You need to build your resiliency muscle. That's what we do here. You need to build your stick to the muscle. That's what we do here.
::Lisa Nichols
You need to build your community trust muscle. That's what we do here. You need to build your consistency muscle. That's what we do here. Oh you need to build your puts you first muscle. Hello. Raise your hand. You need to build your puts you first muscle. You need to stand at the front of your own line. You serving everybody else but you at the back of the line.
::Lisa Nichols
It's time for you to get to the front of your own line. Hello? Somebody. Because when you serve you first, then you get to serve everybody from your overflow. Don't serve from your cup, only serve from your saucer. Oh, who am I talking to? You came in the right place at the right time. With the right message, with the right vision.
::Lisa Nichols
And you are the right person for the assignment. We don't need you. We don't need you. Your perfection. Because if you were perfect, then you don't fit us. We need imperfection to celebrate, imperfection to inspire imperfect people. I'm honored to be on this journey with you. I'm honored to cross your path and I can't wait to see you next time.
::Lisa Nichols
Matt, I'm so excited to be with you! I love you guys. Whoo! Holy moly. Lisa, we are knowing our own greatness because you have blessed us with your light today. Shining it bright. Thank you so much for being here, pouring into this amazing community. Let me just highlight and underscore a few of the things, Lisa, that you said talking about.
::Lisa Nichols
What do you do with this? Like your life is extraordinary and it's by no accident, like you're taking specific action. A specific way of being then generates this result. I just love this. I've so I like literally have pages and pages and pages of notes. Lisa, I know you got another speaking engagement you're running off to right now, so let's celebrate.
