Bits of advice from Nicole for new homeschool moms: -Get clear about why you’re doing it -Get buy-in from your spouse and your children -Kids grow and change, so really get to know who your kids are and who they are becoming -If you can’t find a homeschool group, consider building your own -Use middle school grades to see what their interests are and allow them to explore their preferences
Advice for planning high school: -Start with the end in mind Help them learn how to navigate basic life skills -Be willing to build what is not available in your area -If nothing is available locally in your area, start with a virtual group
