Shownotes
In this special Women’s History Month episode of Soul Podcasting Collective, I’m reflecting on something that’s been on my mind after more than two decades behind the mic: women make up about half of podcast listeners, yet far fewer are hosting the shows that shape the conversation.
In this shorter episode, I explore what the research says about women in podcasting, why representation still matters, and how each of us — whether we’re creators or listeners — can intentionally support women’s voices in this space.
I also highlight a few inspiring women who are building meaningful impact in the podcasting world and share why their work matters for the future of this medium.
This episode is part of Podcasthon, a global initiative where thousands of podcasts come together for one week to spotlight charities. I’m honored to feature 51&, an organization working to transform women’s healthcare systems and ensure women are heard, supported, and represented.
If you care about the future of podcasting — and the stories we choose to amplify — this episode is for you.
