Are empathic abilities important in business?

What does it mean to have an empathic ability? Being empathic is noticing the shift and when there is a difference between the external and internal. Those moments when someone says something, but their energy feels the opposite.

Key Points:

• Notice when what is said and how it feels are opposing.
• Make a note if it's a specific word, topic, or when something seems off. 
• Pay attention to when energy shifts from feeling positive to uneasy; watch as it shifts through an interaction.

Empathic abilities allow us to recognize when we can connect on a higher level when we are not connecting. It is more than a woo-woo way of being. Think of when you noticed a change in a client or felt like there's a disconnect, that is, empathic abilities.
