It’s not until we recognize that what is described in 1 Corinthians 13 is not man-made love, but the very love of God Himself, that we begin to understand our need for Him if we are to love others. The only way His love can truly be seen in us is through His enabling power. In other words, if we are to genuinely live a life of loving others, it will only become a reality as we depend by faith on Jesus in our daily living.
