Canadiens assigned Kaiden Guhle to Prince Albert Raiders and Cayden Primeau to Laval Rocket as the final two cuts from training camp to complete their 23-man roster. Canadiens sent forward Ryan Poehling to the Laval Rocket. Canadiens signed Nick Suzuki to a 8-year contract extension, $7.875M AAV.
