Christians everywhere are learning that the world is permeated with God's presence, as well as other spirits, both angelic and malicious. The world till now seemed empty and obvious, but now we see we have much less control than we thought. The most effective and powerful thing we can do in any situation is pray.
So here's my own "this one great hack" that gets my mind back where it needs to be:
Think "Quick! Who is the human being closest to you physically right now?"
Look around and land on somebody. (If no one's there, you can just picture someone you know.)
Then ask yourself "Do they need prayer? Are they feeling pain or sorrow?"
Pay attention to them; look at them attentively. What do the lines of their face tell you, or the quality in their voice?
Every person suffers. Burst through and love them from your heart.
In almost any situation, the most important thing is attending to the immortal, God-loved person nearest you. That immediately gets your mind off grand schemes and dreams of valiant progress. It's also a completely safe way, for cowards, to practice loving their enemy. Praying for each other may be the most important thing we ever do in our earthly lives.
GMPTL
It's an acronym for, "Good Morning and Praise the Lord!"
It's also an acronym for the words "Grace, Mercy, Peace, Truth, Love."
Now if you take the first 2-3 letters of that series of words (taken from the 2nd verse of the holy apostle John's second epistle, ) you get "Gramer-Petrulo".
Gramer-Petrulo is a full-service digital publishing service. It is founded by an Orthodox Christian, James D. Newcomb and is your solution for your publishing needs done with integrity and uprightness of heart.
This podcast is our free gift to you, and should you ever need any help with something that involves clicking a button that says "Publish," keep us in mind.
