Produce More Leaders – Daily Wisdom

Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1858 of our trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Proverbs 16:16 says, "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!" If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget. Today’s quote is from Zig Ziglar, and it is, “A true leader produces more leaders.”

Produce More Leaders

The universal law of multiplication is valid for crops and people. Just as a good kernel of corn will produce many more seeds, the same applies to people. As a result, each of us is leaving a legacy of impact on the lives of others. That legacy may be good or bad, depending on the seeds we are planting into those we nurture. A good and godly leader will produce more leaders who will be good and godly. Regardless of what we do to earn a living, we should never underestimate the significant impact we can have on those who cross our paths each day. Going back to the analogy of the kernel of corn, when you plant that kernel, it will always produce corn, never anything else. The same is true of our lives; what we are will be replicated in our children, grandchildren, and others we encounter. The only way to live on after we die is through those people we impact. John 12:23-26 Jesus replied, “Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone.  But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives. Those who love their life in this world will lose it.  Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am.  And the Father will honor anyone who serves me." As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.
