Paul Baron, founder and CEO of The Wall Printer UAS joins me today to talk about creating a successful startup.

His experience spans B2B, B2C, retail, manufacturing, and franchising. Paul thrives in rapid growth, high-energy environments, and values a diverse culture with good people. He is a mentor to business owners and student interns at UNC Wilmington and UNCW’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He earned a BS in Mathematics at SUNY New Paltz and studied advanced Mathematics at the University of New Hampshire.

Key points of discussion:

  • key elements to start a new business?
  • challenges in getting a startup business off the ground?
  • what startup businesses need to do to successfully sell?
  • the types of people who are good candidates for starting their own business and those who might be better off working for somebody?
