Micah Burgess, CD, has been a birth doula for 20+ years providing birth doula services. Over the past decade, she has made a career specializing in natural hospital births in Waco, TX, using her Proactive Coaching Method to help bridge the gap with the medical staff and the clients she serves. As a mentor doula, she created an apprenticeship program to train local doulas which led to starting her own doula team. At age 50, she became an author and podcast host and is now shifting her efforts, expertise and experience to provide online coaching to doulas all over country.
