Yemi and Philia discuss their first few days of the fast and this week's theme, Hearing God's Voice. The reading is from 1 Samuel 3:1-18. Our lessons from this reading and the fast so far are: (1) recognizing God's voice may require tuning out all the noise of the world, (2) being in a community of believers may help you understand or bring confirmation that God is speaking to you, and (3) God will continually call/pursue you until you answer. We pray that this fast period is rewarding for you and that you grow closer to God and hear God on the particular issue(s) you set before him for this fast period.
